I had a wonderful experience and stay at Atlantis House! Hana provided such wonderful customer service and helped make my stay very enjoyable. The Palm Suite was modern, bright, beachy Bohemian, and beautiful. Comfy bed, jet hot tub, shower, vanity, & little kitchenette - everything to feel comfortable! I also appreciated the use of the bikes during my stay. Thank you Hana & Atlantis House for your support and flexibility. I'd love to return to Atlantis House in the future.

Every year we do an annual trek to Key West, we have stayed in a few places but nothing beats the Atlantis House. We are very excited with the new owner (Shari) who is dedicated to improving this wonderful tropical retreat. She has updated the rooms with with new decor, improved appliances, furniture, bedding and an ice maker on site (check out the website as many of the above pictures are before the renovation). | What we really like is the focus on the guest. Shavon is the local Manager and does everything to make your stay first class…any questions or help he responds within quick timely manner. The location is great, steps away from the beach, bike are available to use and walking distant to many attractions and restaurants-Salute on the Beach is just a 5 minute walk with great dinner and drinks. On site parking is a bonus. The room is beyond comfortable and we love the mini kitchen and bar, the bathroom is almost as big as the main room. The outside deck is a wonderful place to kick back, a mini oasis with comfort seating where you can grill or eat outside. One of the best points is that there are only 2 suites and it creates a very secluded atmosphere.| We have already booked November 2023 and can’t wait. Thank you Shari and Shavon for always making our trip special!

We have been to Atlantis House now 22 times over 11 years and it has NEVER disappointed. The room is spacious and well appointed, ALWAYS spotless. The amenities make it more than comfortable, luxurious actually. Steve and Kayla are outstanding hosts, always available to help or assist and to make recommendations that always pan out for us. This IS our happy place and Steve and Kayla are our happy hosts. We would never stay anywhere else. We love the bikes, the location of the property ( where its quiet but close enough to all the activity ), how well maintained it always is, how beautiful the gardens are and the kindness that they show us with delicious key lime pie and rides to/from the airport. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this property and these people.

The host was absolutely treating us like family, in the good way - fresh key lime pie!! The accommodations themselves appear to be recently renovated, absolutely beautiful. Jacuzzi tub got some use, the open shower was nice and the deck/seating area was gorgeous day and night. It was a very short walk to the pier where we caught the sunrise, and only a 10 minute bike ride to the main attractions in Key West. Having access to the bikes from the host made our stay much more convenient. Got plenty of recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, et cetera from the host. If you're looking for a place that is far enough that you feel separated from the noise of Duvall...but still want to be close to everything, it's perfect. We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much Shari and Shavon!

This is a great place to stay. Beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The king size bed, so comfortable! The shower is huge, with a jacuzzi tub. Towels and linens very plush. Quiet location. Love the outside deck

This was one of our longer trips to the keys and we booked the last four nights in the Garden Suite at The Atlantis House. We are so glad we did! The suite was gorgeous - beautifully decorated and a beautiful, comfortable layout. The landscaping outside and around the patio area really made for a great paradise backdrop. It was a wonderful romantic getaway. I was happy to discover that Kayla offered massages. The massage was definitely one of the top highlights of my trip!!! Both Kayla and Steve are extremely personable and knowledgeable about Key West. You couldn't ask for better hosts. Highly recommended!!

The Atlantis House is hands down the best place to stay in Key West. We recently stayed in the Master Suite, and I have not had a better bed and breakfast experience anywhere else. It's on a quiet part of the island which allows you to get away from the craziness of Duval St at night. The room is welcoming and spacious, and the large jacuzzi tub and vanity desk were great features. Steve and Kayla are great hosts. We did the Eco-tour with Steve, and this trip is truly a hidden gem of Key West. Also can't forget Kayla's key lime pie which is the best on the island. We will definitely be back here the next time we are in Key West.

My wife and I stayed at Atlantis House for 3 nights in April of 2019 and it was amazing. We booked the master suite and it had everything you could ask for and more. The room was very comfortable, clean and stocked with necessities. Free parking and free bike use proved to be very valuable. You can bike to the best restaurants in 5-10 minutes and then return for peace and quite to your suite. Steve and Kayla are great hosts, very personable and eager to please. Do yourself a favor, if you are planning a trip to Key West, stay here!!

Yelp
Very good place to stay. They was so kind with us. We couldn't find a place to stay, and we were about to go home at night back to FortLauderdale. The bathroom, the temperature, decoration outside and the bycicles, everything was great ! Thank you. Oh, and the key lime pie

Yelp
Captain Steve and Kayla are the most genuine, warm and welcoming hosts I've ever met! The Atlantis House has truly become my 2nd home. I visited a few years back and tried various b&b's since in my yearly visits. None of the other establishments come close to the type of experience you get when staying at Atlantis.. Starting with an awesome strategic location, it is conveniently just across from the beach. The layout of the house itself is absolutely gorgeous. The sitting area outside has such beautiful design, lighting and creativity that it gives off a warm almost indoor effect. The hosts' home is located close where they still give you complete privacy but are there if you need anything, even if it's one of Kayla's famous delicious key lime pies! The house consists of 2 separate rooms, each it's own uniquely designed suites. I loved staying at both as they both have their own special theme. If you're looking for a true b&b experience with a personal touch, wonderful conversation, a gorgeous zen-like atmosphere in the perfect location, give them a try. Just remember to book well in advance as the rooms tend to go fast!

Yelp
We were lucky enough to find this Gem this summer. I think it may have been harder to book if this was a non-Covid year, but luckily we were able to stay here for a 4 day span. Captain Steve was amazing! Very helpful, gracious, but not intrusive. He has an uncanny ability to know when you may need something. The key lime pie was amazing and the patio is magical. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a getaway to key west. Walk or ride a bike to the beaches. Close to restaurants. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Even though the virus is a nation wide epidemic Atlantis house still would not refund even though everything is closed. They kept my deposit anyway out 330.75. At least all others places the wife and I were staying gave us a refund.

Yelp
Just one night and we felt in love. It is almost in front of the beach so they lent us bikes and it was the most perfect afternoon ever. Super nice people, super nice Key Lime Pie and super nice room. We loved it and it was really close to an oasis. It was great. Thank you so much for trusting us.

Yelp
A little over a year ago, stayed at Atlantis House in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary. Great and friendly services from Captain Steve and his wife Kayla. Clean, beautiful room, great breakfast, privacy and just minutes away from Duval St. A great place to watch the sunset!!!

Yelp
My husband and I spent only four days in Key West at the Atlantis House, but they were some of the most relaxing days we've ever spent. The Master Suite is beautiful, the folliaged and canopied terrace a little paradise outside your door. One block from a quiet and lovely part of the coast and only a couple from some good restaurants. Steve and Kayla are kind and generous hosts; even gave us a couple of slices of Kayla's key lime pie just 'cos, which were delicious. Some highlights: Kayla gives excellent massages. As a bodyworker myself, I can vouch for the high quality and caring nature of her work. Both my husband and I received stellar sessions and we highly recommend you take advantage of this service while you're there. Both rooms are lovely, but the Master Suite is open, beautiful, comfortable, and the bathroom is fabulous. Be sure to take a nice long bath in the jacuzzi tub and use the complimentary bubble bath. They offer the use of two bikes free of charge, and this was such a lifesaver. We did not rent a car and biking is a much faster way to get around the island than walking. Plus, we were able to bike off the extra calories from all the seafood. Steve and Kayla are extremely familiar with everything about Key West and are happily available to guests to answer questions at any time. This was a nice service to have.

Yelp
This property is perfect for a quaint, quiet couple get away! Master Suite was perfect size and had everything we needed- refrigerator, microwave, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, etc. Close enough to Duval for a nice walk/bike ride and steps from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Steve and Kayla are wonderful hosts and made sure we we had everything we needed throughout the stay, including Kayla's key lime pie! One of the cleanest, quietest and friendly places we have stayed in a vacation rental. We will definitely keep this on our "stay again" list!

Yelp
Conveniently located and cozy, captain steve took us on an ANAZING Eco tour on his boat. The room is clean and comfortable and they even made fresh key lime pie for us!!! We are so lucky to have found this gem! What a great trip !!

Yelp
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Atlantis House last month! We had never been to Key West before, and we opted for the Atlantis House because we wanted to stay somewhere smaller/cozier and away from the busier parts of the island. The Atlantis House was a win-win for us: it is located in a quiet area but within easy walking or biking distance to everything we wanted to explore during our stay. The accommodations were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and having access to bikes to explore the island made things so much easier! Steve and Kayla were great hosts, provided recommendations for restaurants, etc. on the island, and were very accessible without being intrusive, which I always appreciate. Steve was able to provide us with transportation to and from the airport, and Kayla makes a delicious Key Lime Pie - they even surprised us with a bottle of champagne at a family member's request to help us celebrate our engagement! If we return to Key West for another vacation, we'll definitely try to book a stay at the Atlantis House.

Yelp
To start, we had looked into the Atlantis House for our destination honeymoon in Key West. After reading all of the prior great reviews and beautiful posted pictures, we decided to book the Master Suite for 6 nights. I was excited to see what the house had to offer. We had a late arrival (10:00pm). We were first met at the door by Nemo, the family dog. He was friendly as could be and adorable. He made me miss my puppy instantly. Capt. Steve then greeted us. He was very nice and "down to Earth". As I'm sure he could see how tired we were, he gave an efficient run down of the property and amenities. The room was better than the pictures could describe. The attention to detail was exceptional. A complimentary bottle of champagne for our honeymoon stay was to our surprise waiting for us in the room. After taking in all of the "Ooohs and Ahhs" of our exquisite room, I was now only hoping the bed would be suitable for a much needed good nights sleep. And it was and much more. The pillows were plush and sheets were soft. I was out like a light. We just missed Kayla who had flown out that evening. But left behind were two, delicious homemade Key Lime Pie slices from Kayla. The best Key Lime pie we had experienced during our stay. While at the Atlantis House you have excess to free wifi, bikes, beach chairs /umbrellas & coolers which we utilized and greatly appreciated. The house is a very short walk down to the next beach. Located just off the beaten path away from the crowds and noise, the Atlantis House is a quiet oasis of its own. Our first full day in Key West we did a lot of the usual local touring. In the evening we walked from the Atlantis House to Duval Street (Main business strip) and all the way up to the north end of the street. Needless to say when we got back to our room, we were exhausted. The room has a jacuzzi tub which is just what my wife and I needed to end the night. Also provided are lush Turkish Towels. We took part in Capt. Steve's Snorkeling trip and a Fishing Trip. We caught a few Dolphin Fish (Mahi Mahi)! An amazing time was had on both excursions. The evening after, Steve so graciously brought us some fresh King Fish dip with fresh tortillas that he had just caught which was very tasty. Afterwards we spent the afternoon pool side at the private "Florida Marina Club" as guests of Capt. Steve with a complimentary day pass. While Key West is relaxing and beautiful, what made this trip what it was, was coming back to our beautiful room at the Atlantis House each and every night. It was hard to leave this place. Simply put, Amazing.

Yelp
We had so much fun staying at the Atlantis House this past November! Atlantis House is on the outskirts of downtown but only a few mins drive to Duvall street. We used Lyft to come pick us up and take us to Duvall street and would usually cost us $15 each way! We already want to go back! You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Looking for a quaint, fun, personable place to stay in Key West? This is the place! I just spent a few nights at the Atlantis House and was blown away by the hospitality and sweet innkeepers. Captain Steve and Kayla are delightful! Both suites are amazing, although I opted for the slightly smaller one (garden suite) and am definitely happy with my selection. Both rooms come with plenty of space, amenities like in-room spa tubs, TVs, bar/food area, books on the island, you name it. I was even treated to homemade key lime pie and baklava (both outstanding). Free bike rentals for tooling around the island and they have a pretty swanky patio area for patrons to enjoy. Captain Steve offers a wide variety of fishing and boating expeditions he runs himself and Kayla is a renowned massage therapist. Definitely one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at in all of my traveling days. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
After crawling Duval St this is the place you want to be to get away from it all. Backyard terrace is a sanctuary to have your morning coffee/tea. One block to the beach. Easy bike ride (they have bikes, beach chairs and beach towels to use) to Duval St which is a lot of fun. Steve and Kayla are the nicest people and a wealth of information about the Keys. If you are looking for a getaway place to stay, this is it.

Yelp
The best guest house on the island by far. You must make this a destination on your next trip to Key West! The most relaxing and posh rooms complete with jacuzzi and king beds. More square footage than any other guest house rooms I've encountered. Asian inspire decore all hand picked by Owner Kayla Kessler as well as the flowers and welcoming touches. Really stressed? Kayla is a massage therapist! Husband Steve ( Captain Steve) lends his hand in pruning the lush tropical gardens which are your backyard. Want to snorkle, fish or just check out the sunset on the water?....Steve will take you on his boat as well as cook up your catch in grand style. The house is located right next to two of the best beaches on the island. Walk or take the bikes that are supplied with your room. The best way to get around and sample the shopping, restaurants and sites. Kayla and Steve have been there for 18 years and know all the best eats, sites and what to skip. Check the Atlantis out. You will not be dissappointed. We're going back again ASAP.

Yelp
I really didn't want to write this review for very selfish reasons...only because I always want this place to be available for when I go to Key West. In the past, I've stayed at the Coconut Mallory Resort, and the Marriot Beachside in Key West---both great places in their own right, but not very convenient in terms of location. Atlantis House is the place I will always stay from now on. Atlantis House is a short walk to Smather's and Higgs Beach, but it's only a 5-15 minute leisurely cruiser bike ride to absolutely everywhere else you want to be in Key West. I parked my rental car in the driveway and used one of 6 complimentary beachcruiser style bicycles (with baskets, bike locks, helmets, and headlights) during my entire stay---day and night. Anyone who's been to Key West knows the best way to get around is by bicycle---that Atlantis House offers them to their guests for free is a HUGE convenience! It only took 15 minutes tops to casually ride to the farthest point on the island. While Atlantis House is not in the middle of downtown, it only takes 7 minutes to get into the heart of it by bike, and I got to enjoy peace and quiet when I started and finished my day. Additionally, I was able to see and explore so much more of Key West by bike, plus burn off the calories of all the food and drink I enjoyed there, I will never do Key West by cab or car ever again. Atlantis House has only two rooms available, and they are adult-only. I stayed in the "smaller" Garden Suite. It was not "small" by Key West room standards, and it was much more beautifully appointed, comfortable, luxurious, and private by Key West standards. The grounds are a meticulous paradise. It is the most beautiful garden in Key West. Words and pictures just don't do it justice---the beauty and tiny details are jaw-dropping. You could stay in your room and the grounds for your entire stay and be entirely relaxed and satisfied. You will be sad to leave. The bed was comfortable, the linens were more luxurious than those in a suite at the Marriot, and there's a Jacuzzi-style tub big enough for two, and a stand-up shower big enough for two with a big skylight in the bathroom. Aside from the bedroom (which has a larger mini fridge, coffee station, and microwave), there's a sitting room with a large flat screen TV and French doors that open into the garden. Kayla was away on business during my stay, but Steve was welcoming, attentive, but not intrusive at all. A+ all around!

Joanne Y.

Yelp
Steve and Kayla, the proprietors, are quite knowledgeable about the island and certainly focused on pleasing their guests. The Master Room suite had everything we needed, was quite comfortable and spacious. An added bonus to this guest house is the lovely garden adjacent to the room. There are 4 small areas to sit outside surrounded by a lush tropical garden. One area has a gazebo. We enjoyed it at night when it was cooler. We took advantage of the complimentary bicycles to tour the island, which was loads of fun and eliminated the hassle of driving and parking a car. We definitely recommend Atlantis House! Kayla's Key Lime Pie is not to be missed.

Bruce A.

Yelp
Fantastic little B&B (although the breakfast is optional, and at additional cost) in the quieter part of Key West. It's across the street from a beach, next to the Bird Rescue and Wildlife Sanctuary, and within a few blocks of a park, botanic gardens, and a lovely little restaurant on the beach. Far enough from the Duval St. craziness, but still within walking distance of the center of town. We stayed in the smaller of the two suites, but it was plenty for us. The bathroom is large, with a big jacuzzi tub, and they have a small fridge and microwave for heating up your leftovers. The garden is lovely and peaceful, and you may end up sitting outside for a lot of your stay.

Patty K.

Yelp
A fabulous little piece of paradise! The owners could not be more wonderful and the "Master" Suite is just about perfect in every way.
