WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Susan at the front desk was phenomenal!! We woke up to a parking citation our first morning and she got it taken care of for us as it was a mistake. the location is PERFECT. It was very quiet even for Memorial Day weekend. The price was perfect. If you are just needing a place to sleep while you are gone all day then this is great!! Very clean and plenty of towels and toilet paper. We will DEFINITELY be staying again in the future.

The Atlantis Inn, a charming 1950s gem, has been thoughtfully updated over the years while preserving the unique character and quirky charm that make it so special. For me, it’s more than just a place to stay — it’s a Tybee Island landmark. I’ve stayed here many times over the past 12 or so years, and it’s always my first choice for an overnight visit. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the staff is genuinely warm and welcoming. I truly love this place.

This was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was disgusting—there were roaches crawling around, cobwebs on the lamps, and noticeable cracks in the door large enough for someone to actually peek through. I thought to was being dramatic until i went outside and tried to peek, and you could intact see into the room. There was no overhead lighting, just one dim lamp in the whole room. The bathroom light flickered and the second light by the shower didn’t work. There was hair in the bed that clearly wasn’t ours, sand and dirt all over the floor, and the AC unit was full of mold. The microwave was filthy and rusted, and the turntable inside wouldn’t even spin. The housekeeper had the nerve to leave her Venmo on the little envelope lol. On top of all that, the customer service was terrible. I had accidentally left my wallet at home and didn’t have my ID on me. I asked if I could change the name on the booking to my friend’s since she had her ID and was staying with me. The man at the front desk said booking was weird and that it may work, he decided to just change the name and told her to go get her ID from the car. While she went to retrieve it, I updated the reservation online to be under her name just in case. I let him know I had made the change and he kept repeating that he still needed her ID—which I understood and had already told him she was getting, like he instructed her to do so. But instead of simply acknowledging that, he spoke to me like I was slow, condescending and sarcastic. When I said, “ yes I understand that,” because he kept repeating himself, he snapped back, and said i don’t have to be smart. like I had an attitude—when all I was doing was trying to clarify and move the process along. The room was gross, the service was rude and unprofessional, and overall, it was a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The beach being so close was the only upside.

Great stay. Clean rooms. Warm showers. Impeccable service. Highly recommend! And great location. Walking distance from the beach and close to fishing. Stores and restaurants all within walking distance. Great atmosphere.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, in three different rooms. We reserved a king room with spa after viewing the red room online - as the presidential suite was not available. We checked in at 6pm on Sunday night to room 7 at the end of a long path in the dark with no light at the door to see the lock. Upon opening the door, saw that the room was not red, much smaller than the one online and had a different hot tub. Unfortunately, at this point the front office had closed, so we made the best of it. Came to also find out that there is an electrical panel (unlocked) above the tub, the toilet wobbled, there were no towel bars just brackets, there is no security chain on the door and the sink leaks. Went to the office in the morning (Monday), spoke with the manager, he was very much not concerned at all about anything that I was explaining. He offered a refund, but that would mean leaving even though we were booked for 5 nights. We had no where else to stay, so we made the best of the day. When we came back to the room that evening (it had been drizzling), we had to walk through a giant puddle to get to our room. At that point, we were done with the situation. I went back to the office, where a nice young lady was very concerned and offered to move us to a different room of similar rate, albeit without the spa tub. But at least it wasn't through a puddle in the dark. So we moved all of our stuff to room 4 and started over. Over the next few days we discovered that there were a few issues with this room as well. There was no security chain, the toilet seat slid side to side, there were no towel bars, just the brackets on the wall, the bathroom door handle is about to fall off, the top bunk board bracket falls off the wall, the shower curtain is brown and disgusting, the tub spot is falling out of the wall and when you pull the knob on the top to run the shower, most of the water comes out the bottom with little more than a trickle from the shower head. Then on Wednesday evening we came back after dinner to find that someone had checked in to the room next to us (5) and they were playing very loud music that was drowning out our TV, smoking pot at the door to their room (whole patio smelled) and being very loud. We gave them until 9pm, but they weren't slowing down and were instead getting louder. We called the front desk and the very sweet older lady said she would speak with them about the music. Well, we heard her tell them that they got a complaint from the neighbor about being loud and the music and she told them they weren't supposed to be smoking in the room. As soon as she was gone, they were back to being loud again. I went to the office and asked if we could move to the front room on the corner and she allowed that. So we moved again. That room also had issues. There was no security chain on the door and an outlet falling out of the wall in the dining area. This was the best room of the three. When we checked out on Friday morning, the manager took the key and didn't even acknowledge anything that had happened of the five nights. This was especially discouraging since we had been told that someone was checking in to room 4 that night and they would have little to no shower.

Room was dirty. Door was not very secure as well as bedroom window. Had huge cockroaches all over. We’ve stayed numerous times, but never again. Was going to stay two nights but left after one night. Never reimburse us. Stay away.

Google
Positive: Such a cute room and excellent location. The staff were unbelievably nice and went out of their way to make the stay perfect. Negative: ""

The only thing that is absolutely great is the location, the hotel is decent and to the point, can use some touch ups .

Yelp
Hotel is old so don't expect much. The room was a great romantic getaway--plenty of space for two, quaint lighting, and elegant bedding. We stayed in Poseidon's Palace which is kind of the their presidential suite so don't think all of the rooms are large because they're not. We looked at some of the other rooms and they were much smaller. No elevators so you must climb stairs. Even though we were without the kids for this trip, the hotel itself didn't seem kid friendly -- close to the road and multiple stairs. There is free Wi-Fi but it was very weak and we very rarely were able to gain access. The location is also great. It was a quick walk to the beach, the shops, and the restaurants.

Zayla B.

Yelp
the room is VERY small. not only was it small, but most of the outlets didn't even work half the time. there's not even a lock on the bathroom door. THEN when we left and came back to park, there was NO parking. they said to park in city parking and they'd give us a path. after driving around for about 10-15 minutes we found a spot and asked for a pass. they said there we're no more passes. SO WE HAD TO PAY TO PARK AT OUR MOTEL?! ridiculous

Yelp
Eww. Eww. Eww. My skin is crawling and my stomach nauseous as I write this review. This place is absolutely horrendous. The room was absolutely FILTHY. There was dirt and hair on the beds. What looked like urine stains on the sides of the bed. We opened the fridge and there was old moldy Chinese food left by a previous guest. I peeped over the wall in the bathroom and there was what looked like a dead bird. I saw mold and a wing. I was so scared. The night manager said he couldn't do anything, but he did offer to call other 'sister' hotels, but it didn't seem like that had even happened. He gave us the room key to the 'king' sweet and to our surprise, it was in even worse shape that the i tail room. It reeked of cigarettes (non smoking unit) and there dirt everywhere. It's clear these rooms are NEVER cleaned and are quite frankly hazardous for your health. I wish I was being dramatic, but I am not. I used the bathroom, and I even regret doing that. There was blue sharpie on the inside of the toilet paper roll...wtf. So, THANK THE LORD, we were saved by the comfort and welcoming environment of Hotel Tybee. Never never never never never book here. Save yourself the distress.

Yelp
Disgusting rooms. First one had globs of hair on shower wall. 2nd one had something smeared on every wall in bedroom, yellow and brown stains on sheets, broken outlets, and frig was pulled out broken. They sent us to their sister hotel the admiral inn told us they would either get us a room there or refund nothing else. As disgusting as the rooms were and having to move 3 times and to a totally different hotel they should have offered way more then that!

Julia N.

Yelp
This place is disgusting! Sure the location is great but the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. I wouldn't be surprised if they have bedbugs and some of the rooms. The manager/owner Is completely unreasonable and should never have gotten a job in hospitality. The cancellation policy is INSANE, not worth the risk. Find another place.

Yelp
Omg!!!!! The pictures on the website looks totally different than in person. Smh. So as you walk in your like damn. What the f*** is this. I can't even take a shower. There is no water coming out of the shower head. Like what the hell. There's buttons missing from the spa. There's no TV in the bedroom. The wall paper is coming off of the walls. Your door is not secure enough. All you have is a chain on the door. There was ice still in the refrigerator. This is just sad for the money we paid for this room. I wanted to spend my mother's day in a nice room on the beach. But no I got a crapy room.

Yelp
I was so disappointed in this "hotel". The room was not clean when we arrived. I spent $300 on this room and only spent two hours in it because it was unacceptable. I wrote them a letter of concern, and never got a response. There were crumbs all over the couch in the room I had, the bed pad was stained, and the arms of the couch were disgustingly dirty. Very dissatisfied and I felt ripped off.
google avatar

Debbie W.

Yelp
Pulled into the hotel parking lot and asked about checking in. It was 1:40 pm and no guests were there. Many rooms were already cleaned and available. When we asked the hotel manager about checking in, because we had driven a long way to stay there, he rudely replied,"3 pm." He was very unfriendly, so we did not come back to stay at his hotel. We should have read the reviews more closely!

Yelp
As of last week it was open, although it shouldn't be. We were referred here after the Dunes didn't have a room for us 2 nights, although I had a confirmation in hand. We were looking forward to pool usage, they didn't have one. Ice would have been nice, no ice machine. Breakfast was a joke unless you enjoy cold cereal.Every time you wanted coffee, they had to stop and make it. People at the desk were rude and every unhelpful. Parking was a joke. There were not enough spaces for the rooms there and you are on your own if there is no space available. Good thing, beach and restaurants were within a block or two and you can walk. Find another place to stay if you can, not worth the time of day.

Angie B.

Yelp
Great price but definitely got what we paid for. Bed was hard and light shined right through the blinds with no shut off and the room was bright so barely slept. Pillows was flat. No phone in the room. All we had to lock the door was a chain and the door barely closed. Rude customer service at the front. Great price but not again

Yelp
My boyfriend booked us a room here for one night. And thank god it was only night. What a straight up nightmare. This place is disgusting, stains all over bedding, missing floor tiles, hair, etc. I would not stay here again if you paid me to. We left at 6 am because we were both so grossed out and feeling itchy. Do not stay here!
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
ok, at best. Desk receptionist(s) were friendly and continental breakfast was pretty spare but ok. Room was only adequate. Beds were fine and linen clean but room itself was basic and not that clean. Inadequate lighting (always makes me think there's something to hide). Bathrooms not clean either, shower drain very, very slow to drain. Drapes and blinds in very poor shape and wouldn't fully close to block outside light. Room wasn't serviced too attentively, and had to ask to get toilet paper. Heat/AC were fine, WIFI excellent, and good location/access to central Tybee.

Yelp
So we are currently staying in room 14. A previous reviewer uploaded photos of my current room and it STILL has the same makeup stains on the door, disgusting tub, broken fridge, dusty ceilings, not to mention the roach blood splatter on the wall 19 days later. I expect more for over $500 for just 3 nights. I will say it's very convenient and within walking distance to shops, restaurants/bars and most importantly the beach! But from reading other reviews the staff have a "take it or leave it attitude" so my boyfriend and I will continue to rough it. Sigh.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE!! PROS: close to beach and shops We stayed in room 20 (crows nest) and it was super private Cons: Way overpriced- 170 a night for no hotel maintenance . Floors in our room were so dirty, it made our feet black to walk on them. Everything was dusty and grimy from the fridge to the tv to the bathroom (yuck) and I was under the impression, the comforter on top of the bed hadn't been washed in a long time. We had to ask hotel staff several times and several days into our stay to change the sheets and tidy up. They didn't until our last day and even then they only changed the sheets. No floor clean up (which was horribly dirty and disgusting) and no tidy of bathroom or any where else. Drawers in room still had remnants of previous guests. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here just because it's very dirty.

Yelp
*********Horrible customer service. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS LOCATION ***** !!!!!!!!!! --_______________________________________________________ This Property cancelled my reservation through Booking.com because " there was a pricing discrepancy" Translation: They were able to sell their room for a higher rate. Booked 4 months ahead of time and THEY cancelled without notice. Booking.com called them out on it and the "fill-in" manager could only recommend they contact the main property manager who ironically wasn't there until 3 days from now on Monday. Which BTW the fill-in manager would not even give her name or the managers name! SHADY ALERT I hope booking.com and all other 3rd party reservation sites revoke their business with this location. SO BEWARE OF BOOKING THIS LOCATION BECAUSE THEY MAY CANCEL TOUR RESERVATION IF THEY CAN SELL YOUR ROOM FOR A HIGHER RATE.!

Yelp
Ok so pros: super close to the beach Con: the staff was borderline rude. They mixed up our request for early check in. The ceiling had horrible water damage in the bathroom. I rented a room with a hot tub and didn't get it. The chair in the room looked like someone wiped their poop stained butt on the chair, but the worst of all was what looked like the cum stains on the sheets. It was not only on one side but both sides of the bed. My husband and i pulled back the sheet and there were bugs on the bed. I don't even want to sleep in there! It is currently 1:30am and i am sitting out side debating if i can make it till morning to talk to management about this. We're either getting a new room or our money back we haven't decided yet.

Crystal G.

Yelp
Update to previous review. In addition to the filthy room I left with a terrible itch and rash and after a visit to urgent care it was bed bug bites. Unless you want to waste money on a nasty room that is going to cost you even more money having to go to the doctor to get treated for bedbug bites, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! ORIGINAL POST BEFORE URGENT CARE VISIT: We went to Tybee for my birthday and was I disappointed! When we arrived we put our bags in the room, used the bathroom (toilet would not flush), waited for the front desk lady to come look at it before heading to dinner. While at dinner we got a call that we were put in the wrong room. I thought good because the cable didn't work and the toilet wouldn't flush. Little did we know the next room would be WORSE. The room was nasty and had a horrible odor. When we got in the bed it was full of sand which means whoever was there previously slept on those bedsheets. The walls were nasty and covered with what looked like mold. The room was rented for Friday to Monday but we left early. Spending $1000 we expected better. You have a better stay at brand name hotels for this price. TRUST ME, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

Yelp
First the pluses.... Staff: The staff here are excellent. Very friendly and helpful! Location: Very close to the beach, definitely walking distance which makes it great for a beach stay. And now the bad.... Parking: Due to the location the parking is an absolute crapshoot. They don't have any specific parking for their guests and you can be stuck trying to find a place to park if you decide to leave for any reason. The rooms: Oh god the rooms. The rooms are all themed....which is fine and while they aren't dirty, they certainly aren't clean. The bed was uncomfortable, the furniture was run down, all in all it's a pretty bad place to stay if you're looking for a nice room. The Value: Oh god the value is terrible. The prices are insane per night considering that you have to fight for parking, use a run down shower, and feel weird walking barefoot in your own room. Overall, not a bad place if you and some friends are splitting a room and want to only do the beach. But if it's just you and your SO....well lets put it this way. After only one of our two nights my wife wanted us to go home....and we did.

Yelp
We stayed at the Atlantis Inn for a birthday weekend, in the Endless Summer room. The building is an old-fashioned motel...kind of kitschy and vintage. The room themes go all-out and are fun in a bizarre way. Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy. The pillows were nice and there was a 4 inch memory foam topper on the king-sized bed. The linens were high thread count and we were VERY comfortable. The staff was wonderfully nice. The staff went out of their way to decorate the room with a birthday banner, balloons, cake, and champagne. We met the owners and Mel made breakfast for us himself! The breakfast was beyond all imagining--I've been to buffets that had fewer options. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt.... It really went on and on. I'm honestly shocked by the other poor reviews. Some people just don't understand a boutique hotel. They really should go to a chain. I do think the price is a bit high, but I think times are tough for small business owners and I get that they have to charge more than the Holiday Inn. It wasn't dirty, just old.

Yelp
So let me start with the whole trip.. My husband and 2 friends decided about 2AM on a Friday night that they wanted to take a fly by the seat of our pants overnight trip to tybee. So the next afternoon we pile into the car, and "on the road again" Tybee here we come. Between Yelp and trip adviser i perused the reviews and after making a phone call to the Atlantis, we explained the situation to the owner/manager, and he gave us a heck of a deal!. It was around $60 bucks for the night, no CC required, he left us the keys for when we rolled in late. It really gave me the old school feeling where people actually trust people and don't make you jump through hoops to get where your going. We get the keys, and locate the room. Cons- It was small Pros: Cute decorations, clean. close to the beach so the smaller room was OK. the view was of the back of what looked like an apartment? Our room had 2 full/queen beds, a dresser, a nightstand a mini fridge and about 5 steps in between :) but again. you are here for the beach.. so why are you in the room for anything more then sleeping and showering. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the beach access, walking distance to plenty of food and some night life - even in off season- All in all we had a good time, tiny room and all. it was clean, the people were great, super friendly and trusting- SO DON'T ABUSE THAT! :) Thank you Atlantis Inn for helping us have a great overnight trip on a tight budget! We will keep you on the books for future last min get aways!

Bill P.

Yelp
The staff was great!, but the theme of my room was 80's grunge. Believe it when the reviews say there is no ice machine, they were spot on! Should have looked at the yelp reviews before I booked. My bad. 2 stars are for the staff and location. Not enough parking spaces for the hotel rooms, went to dinner a couple of times within walking distance because I was afraid I would not have parking when I got back. Street parking is pay on the island
google avatar

Patricia H.

Yelp
My husband and I are staying at Atlantis inn for our anniversary. when we showed up the guy at the desk told us we were getting $50 off because they were about to start to paint our room, I was confused by this. When I walked into the room it was horrible! The carpet has stains all over it there is food all over the ceiling, the shower curtain has what looks like blood on it, and there are headboards and other supplies in the closet. The worst part is the room reeks of cigarette smoke, this is supposed to be a non smoking room. I have looked for other hotels on the island but there are none available. I am so mad! I have never seen a room in this condition. The room is so small!!!! I will never stay at Atlantis inn again!!!!
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
It is very unfortunate that there is not an option to leave a zero star review. Joe at the Atlantis Inn refused to allow me to cancel a reservation 9 days in advance. The reservation was made over the phone and no mention was ever made of any sort of non-refundable reservation. Joe not only refused to refund me my reservation fee, but he also refused to even allow me to reschedule my visit and credit me for what I had already paid him. The reservation I had already paid for was nearly $300 a night once the taxes were included. I had to call MasterCard and dispute this, we called him on 3 Way and he got ugly with us and hung up the phone. I will eventually get my funds returned to me in full, but it is ludicrous that a customer should have to go to such great extent to cancel a reservation well in advance. Joe spoke very disrespectfully and rude to me and I will never Grace their facility with my presence nor would I ever send anyone I know there.

Yelp
If there was a lower score it wound be that!!! The pros first.. Walking distance to the beach, beach bars. Now the bad... Well, we decided to try it and it was a disaster!! Dirty, and not safe. We paid $170 off season thinking we were staying somewhere nice. They let us change rooms because we weren't happy with our first room. We kindly asked to leave early and were told if the room didn't fill that there was no way to get our money back which sucks because they make you prepay. I was even told by the cab driver that he wouldn't stay here. My recommendation would be to stay in savannah and drive into the beach.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Tybee and we are so glad we found Atlantis Inn. No frills, but who needs frills when there's a beach a quick stroll away?! Affordable, cute, friendly staff, clean rooms... Will definitely visit again.

Hayley H.

Yelp
I just returned from Tybee Island and I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I stayed in the Rainforest Room and it was amazing. The in-room jacuzzi and bamboo walls really made for a fun stay. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and accommodating. The Atlantis Inn is also super close to the beach, the pier, shops and bars (yay!). The rates are affordable too. I will definitely be back to try out some of the other themed rooms.

Steve L.

Yelp
For starters, should you venture to their booking.com web site will hustle you into thinking your booking the last room available by the web site pop ups. Then the picture of the room you wanted with the two beds is actually assigned to one king bed with no bed available for the kids and no refund or cancellation according to the web site. Outdated and long overdue for renovation this place has peeling paint in apparently every room plus spigots that leak all day and night and we all itched from something that we couldn't identify the source. The drama really started our second night. Upon washing our feet off in the tub just before bed the leaking facet turned into an uncontrolled gusher. Our complaints to the front desk were diverted to a manager at home who instructed the clerk to have us wait it out instead of moving us to a vacant room two doors down. We were all cranky because it was past 11 PM and past our bed time but we had to wait half an hour for a strange maintenance man and his wife to arrive. He said he'd have it fixed in 10 mins. Another 30 mins later he is still fighting the facet with his feet propped agains the wall. AT this point I insisted to be moved or else we would set out down the road finding our room some place else. The new room (two doors down) also had peeling paint on the ceiling but to our new horror it had no inside dead bolt or safety chain whatsoever. I had no other option but to improvise. Our little girls were shocked and horrified at me stacking chairs and soda cans in front of the door fearing an intruder might come in the night. None of us got a good nights sleep. The next morning the new front clerk wouldn't even accommodate us for a late check-out and refused to give us the managers cell Phone number. Atlantis Inn is just as it sounds way over priced, Prehistoric, Neanderthal and Gothic by today's standards. The following business day (Monday) the manager was even rude to my wife when she called. This place shouldn't be allowed a business license. HELLO TYBEE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE are you listening?

Jessica M.

Yelp
Just a little info for someone who is thinking of visiting Tybee. I made reservations at the Atlantis Inn a few weeks ago for April 19-23. I called today 3-15-12 to cancel my reservations because something came up and needed to change dates. The Atlantis Inn charged me a processing fee to cancel? My arrival date is 5 weeks away? So since I need to change my dates, I will be staying somewhere else. But I will swing by the Atlantis Inn to let the owner V J Patel know how I feel! I called every hotel in the area, and noone charges this fee!

Yelp
Horrible...stay away. That is unless you are looking for a Motel with no frills and way over priced. Less than 1/2 a star

Yelp
The staff was courteous and very helpful. The room we stayed in, Sea Treasures, was comfortable but a bit small for four adults. If we come to the island and stay again I will try for larger room w/ kitchen. It is in a quiet section of town and all the rooms are decorated on a theme. Words to describe are cozy, friendly, quaint, quiet and quirky. Do not go expecting condomenium or Holiday Inn Express amenities. This is like hotels from 60s. No coffee maker, hair dryer or iron & ironing board in room although they do have flat screen tvs, dorm refrigerator w/ microwave and wireless (although tough to use at our room due to location, I would advise management to put some sort of booster to increase range of WiFi). They try harder due to small size. They have coffee, pastries and cereal in lobby at breakfast but get there as soon as lobby door opens.

Lara O.

Yelp
This hotel was a huge disappointment! We ended up leaving a day early and paying to stay somewhere else because I couldn't stomach another night here. The pictures on the website make it look cute, but it was not cute. It was run down, old and dirty. The ceiling fan in the living room was covered in dirt. Technically, the room was air-conditioned, but the air-conditioning unit was in the front of the room, so the air had to travel through the kitchen wall and the bedroom doorway to even get to the bedroom. We were hot all night and our guest that was in the living room was freezing. The bed had some kind of rubber sheet on it, so every time I rolled over, I woke myself up because of the weird sound. The bed felt like sleeping on concrete - it was so hard. This is in a good location, which is the only reason I can give it even one star. Stay away!!

Princess T.

Yelp
I would not reccomend this motel unless you are current on your tetnus and rabies vaccinations! The floor was dirty..left over cheerios under the bed was apparently our continental breakfast. The floors are crooked and bubbling under the linoleum. Wasn't impressed with the hair in my sheets as I turned down the bed. Bathroom smelled like a pack of wild dogs had been having there for a month. Freezer had some nasty dirty cup stuck to the back of it. Prepare to spend money at the chiropractor after laying on the bed.. to get all the kinks out. But it was just a short stroll to the wonderful beach where I was able to wash the filth of the room in the ocean!!!!!

Yelp
First of all this is Tybee Beach which is special and hasn't changed over the years and that is a good thing. It is much the same as it was when we came here when I was a child. This is a big wide clean beach with a wonderful warm ocean to swim in. The hotels are the kind that were around in the 1950's and there are a lot of beach cottages. Read some of Mary Kay Andrews books about Tybee and you will get a good idea about what it is like here. She owns a cottage at Tybee as well. This cute hotel, Atlantis Inn, is an Inn from the 1950's. It has been preserved well and treated with love. My parents had a room on the first floor and my daughter and I had the one room on the third floor called the "Crows Nest". Both rooms ran about $175 a night which was a good deal since it was July. There was a junior refrigerator, micro wave, and double sink with nice counter tops and cabinets in both rooms. There was no oven or stove and no dishes or flatware. We ate out at night, ate breakfast in the lobby and made sandwiches for lunch so this set up was great for us. The beach is only about 2 blocks from the beach and the fishing pier. It is located close to any store you want and restaurants are all within walking distance. We only moved our car twice and had no problem parking. The hotel has it's own parking and there were always spaces. The room on the top floor was lovely and relatively new. It is called the Crow's Nest and is big and spacious. This is where I will stay again on my next visit. It was very clean and there is a full size kitchen table with four chairs, large sofa and coffee table. There is a huge walk-in closet and a nice enclosed porch with wicker furniture and provided a nice place for kids to have a place separate from the parents. There are lots of ceiling fans and air conditioning, too. We had a little dog and he was welcomed. There is no elevator so you take your luggage upstairs yourself but I'm sure if you asked for help any of the staff would help you. The staff are all very nice and help in any way they can. We loved our stay here and I hope you enjoy it as well!

Yelp
Horrible. Left a day early mainly because of the "take it or leave it" attitude of the front desk workers. There is enough parking for their golf cart and huge truck, but not enough for paying or over paying guest. We were harassed from the time we checked in about showing up in two different vehicles. They claim this was disclosed on their web site but after triple checking I beg to differ. The first night while trying to enjoy a nice dinner we got a call telling me to move my jeep into a huge mud puddle because it wouldn't hurt it. The next day my wife and I were both harassed about moving a vehicle off the property to a pay to park lot. Also, the Wi Fi thru out is a lie. No service at all in our suite, if you can call it that. That brings me to the room. Musty smell, dingy towels, bedroom was 20 degrees hotter than sitting area due to undersized window unit, dust on headboard, cob webs on ceiling fan, towel rack ripped off wall in bathroom and not replaced. Buyer beware!!

Yelp
We booked our room 4 months in advance with Booking.com, and I received an email a few days later saying that the hotel had made a mistake in quoting us the wrong price for our room. In June I received another email saying that David at Atlantis Inn had approved the rate that I booked in the beginning. In Sept. we got in the car and drove for 4 hours to get there, only to be told that they didn't have our reservation and would not honor the price that David had quoted Booking.com in the beginning and later on in June. The manager that was on duty refused to accommodate us and told us that David had been fired. When Booking.com called the manager on duty to find out why they wouldn't give us a room, he hung up on them. We just wanted to say that this is no way to run a business. This hotel was only trying to make more money by giving our room away, because we were quoted a lower price then what the website says. It should be more about making the customers happy that book with you so they keep coming back or they recommend the hotel to friends and family. We have tried several times to communicate with the management staff, only to be hung up on, or told that the owner is out of town.
