Atlas is a really gorgeous bar in Southside Fort Worth right next to The Coupe. Now that I'm thinking about it, Atlas is kinda like the Elphaba to The Coupe's Glinda.... hahah. Okay not exactly but I have Wicked on the brain right now (their PR is ridiculous, I haven't even seen the movie!) and The Coupe is pink, bright, and bubbly while Atlas is dimly lit and mysterious... You'll find ornate rugs, dark furniture, cozy lounge chairs, a large beautiful bar, pretty wooden bookshelves, stunning paintings on the walls -- it's like a sultry library with booze! And that is just my vibe.
Atlas, as its name suggests, is focused on global drinks and bites -- their cocktail list takes you around the world with classics like the daiquiri (Cuba), Aperol spritz (Italy), Paloma (Mexico), French martini (New York), the sidecar (France) --
you get the idea. All beautifully made and served in traditional glassware. The food menu is similarly "global" with options like Canadian poutine, German pretzel bites, fried rice, burgers, and flatbreads. Truly there is something for everyone!
