Amazing to see all these different film sets and really enter the world of some awesome movies. You walk from one world into another, from ancient Egypt with a massive temple to Roman streets, straight into the small streets of an Arabic Kasbah. The guides are very enthusiastic and kind. Highly recommend to visit if you're in the area!

The Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate are among the largest and most famous film studios in the world, often referred to as the “Hollywood of the Desert.” Spread across a vast area on the edge of the city, the studios offer visitors a unique opportunity to step into the worlds of legendary movies. Over the years, many international blockbusters have been filmed here, taking advantage of the dramatic desert landscapes and monumental sets. Famous productions include Gladiator, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, and episodes of Game of Thrones. Walking through the site, one can see Egyptian temples, Roman arenas, medieval castles, and biblical towns—all carefully constructed as film sets. The studios are open to the public with an entrance fee that grants access to guided tours around the main sets and exhibition areas. The ticket is reasonably priced, but visitors should be aware that additional “unofficial” charges may sometimes be suggested. In our case, the assigned guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, but he also hinted at an extra payment. Visiting Atlas Studios is a memorable experience. For anyone passing through Ouarzazate, the studios are an essential stop to discover how Morocco has helped bring epic stories to life on the big screen.

This is a great studio with lots to see. As many others have noted in addition to the ticket for the main by part 80mad and the extended Kingdom 30mad, you need to pay for parking- or someone looking over your car 30mad(they take you on a truck and that was fun!) and also asked to tip the guide which is another 20mad or so Having said that it was really great and nice to see. I would recommend. Just remember to bring more money. Also the guides are not very organised so you need to try you figure it out yourself. There's a wide variety in the professionalism of the guides

Honestly, it’s just not worth driving all the way there. The tickets aren’t worth the time or effort. The guide — who introduced himself like a “Brad Pitt made in China” (cheap joke, but accurate) — rushed through the place, pointed at the Egypt and Gladiator areas, and basically said, “That’s it.” After that, I just walked around on my own because there was absolutely no point in following a guide. The whole area feels fake (which, to be fair, it is), but there’s nothing meaningful, immersive, or interesting about it. In the end, it felt like a long drive for very little substance. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have a lot of spare time and very low expectations .

So much fun! As a movie lover, this tour definitely struck a cord! Preserved sets, Oscar worthy movies, and one of the coolest tour guides you'll ever meet (his name was Brad Pitt 🤣.

I really don’t understand the overall low rating of this place. We just stopped by and didn’t know what to expect. It was an one hour guided tour across the filming sets of many movies. Our guide knew a lot about the sets and filming, we found out he was an actor in many movies shot here, he showed us pictures and videos from the filming and explained a lot. It is a good value for the money(8€/person), wouldn’t skip if you are in Ouarzazate

Entertaining morning. Our tour group was extremely large and people kept stopping to take photos. Would be helpful if there were just signs up explaining what film each set had been used for. However, a good way to pass an hour or so

Waste of money, time and energy. The guide was very lazy, kept walking off and gave almost no info. There’s no signs or info to tell you what any set or item is from, really badly put together and quite boring. The staff are rude, all together it was not worth it, I would never recommend this.
