⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Full Review : One-of-a-Kind Views & Dining at the Atomium!
The Atomium is a true icon of Brussels part museum, part art installation, and part futuristic wonder! But what really blew me away was the restaurant at the top sphere, where you can dine above the city with a 360° panoramic view. Truly unforgettable! 🏙️
Getting There:
Super convenient just hop on Metro Line 6 and get off at Heysel/Heizel. From there, it’s just a short walk. There’s also parking nearby if you’re driving. You can buy Atomium tickets online in advance to skip the line. 🎟️
The Restaurant (Top Sphere):
This is dining with a view like no other! From your table, you can see all of Brussels and even as far as Antwerp on a clear day. Whether you go during daylight or at sunset, the view is a showstopper. 🌇
The menu has something for everyone, including vegetarian options that are more than just an afterthought. I had a beautifully presented seasonal vegetable risotto, and there was also a grilled veggie dish with local grains and a fresh salad starter packed with flavor. Portions were generous, and everything was made with care.
For those who eat meat or fish, there’s a selection of Belgian inspired dishes fresh, hearty, and refined. And the desserts? Amazing. The chocolate mousse and fruit sorbet were both hits!
Service:
The staff were so welcoming friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to explain dishes and help with dietary preferences.
Extra Tips:
• Make a reservation in advance especially if you want a seat by the window!
• If you dine at the restaurant, your elevator ride to the top is included no need for separate Atomium entry tickets!
• Allow time to explore the rest of the Atomium afterward, including the interactive exhibits, light tunnels, and history of Expo 58.
Bonus: Right next door is Mini-Europe, another fun stop if you’re making a day of it! 🇪🇺
Final Word: A fantastic experience great food, amazing views, and a truly unique setting. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, this is a must-visit in Brussels.
