The restaurant is wonderful and has amazing views. It is not compulsory to buy tickets to go to the restaurant, and you can make a reservation in advance or book a table right there next to the general ticket sales. We were delighted by our waiter, Nicolas. He was friendly, efficient, attentive, offered great service and he is a fantastic Spanish speaker. The food is of incredible quality, good value for money. I absolutely recommend going for lunch if you are visiting the Atomium!

Sometimes you need to go passed the stereotype because this restaurant is definitely not your “tourist place”. The food is good, wine selection interesting and the service is top notch (kudos to Nicolas who took wonderful care of our table…) The view is obviously unequalled and the elevator ride is a fun one. A very nice to try if you’re around Brussels.

Google
I must confess I wouldn’t have expected to find such a nice restaurant serving high quality dishes inside such a touristy place. Exceptional value for the quality in any location let alone at the top of the Atomium. Special mention to our waiter Alfonso who made our night extra special. What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Thanks again!

I attended the restaurant twice this week. The meals were tasty and the staff were attentive and efficient. The views are fantastic. A very novel way to spend an evening enjoying your dinner.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Full Review : One-of-a-Kind Views & Dining at the Atomium! The Atomium is a true icon of Brussels part museum, part art installation, and part futuristic wonder! But what really blew me away was the restaurant at the top sphere, where you can dine above the city with a 360° panoramic view. Truly unforgettable! 🏙️ Getting There: Super convenient just hop on Metro Line 6 and get off at Heysel/Heizel. From there, it’s just a short walk. There’s also parking nearby if you’re driving. You can buy Atomium tickets online in advance to skip the line. 🎟️ The Restaurant (Top Sphere): This is dining with a view like no other! From your table, you can see all of Brussels and even as far as Antwerp on a clear day. Whether you go during daylight or at sunset, the view is a showstopper. 🌇 The menu has something for everyone, including vegetarian options that are more than just an afterthought. I had a beautifully presented seasonal vegetable risotto, and there was also a grilled veggie dish with local grains and a fresh salad starter packed with flavor. Portions were generous, and everything was made with care. For those who eat meat or fish, there’s a selection of Belgian inspired dishes fresh, hearty, and refined. And the desserts? Amazing. The chocolate mousse and fruit sorbet were both hits! Service: The staff were so welcoming friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to explain dishes and help with dietary preferences. Extra Tips: • Make a reservation in advance especially if you want a seat by the window! • If you dine at the restaurant, your elevator ride to the top is included no need for separate Atomium entry tickets! • Allow time to explore the rest of the Atomium afterward, including the interactive exhibits, light tunnels, and history of Expo 58. Bonus: Right next door is Mini-Europe, another fun stop if you’re making a day of it! 🇪🇺 Final Word: A fantastic experience great food, amazing views, and a truly unique setting. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, this is a must-visit in Brussels.

Good food in a great location! We were lucky to get seated next to a window so had a fantastic view overlooking Brussels while we dined. Chose the 3 course menu, with butternut squash soup to start, slow cooked beef for main and then Belgian waffle with chocolate, cream and ice cream to finish. All were incredibly tasty and our server Nicholas even brought us an extra bread basket as we were quite hungry! Great as a treat to ourselves in such an iconic location.

Google
You might come here for the view - and that view is indeed fantastic especially if you come for dinner and get a nice sunset - but you will come back for the food also. It is good value - especially if you choose the menu. Service is friendly and correct. Plates are nicely dressed and taste as good as they look.

Yelp
Location and style - are great you cant really ask for more. I went there on a Monday with a colleague visiting from outside Belgium and she totally loved it. The Atomium is a bit like the Eiffel Tower, yes its a big tourist trap but darn it, the thing is impressive and worth a visit. Monday looks like a good day to go because it was quiet and service was swift and friendly. Having said that - the tables and chairs are not that comfortable but they are of the period. Now regarding the food - they have some fancy schanzy tablet thing to order your meal on. We opted for the seasonal menus and quite frankly it was really good. The food is clearly freshly made, its inventive and innovative - I really liked it. Prices are what you would expect - this is not a brasserie - but perfectly reasonable for what you are getting. We also opted for the wine accompaniment - it was interesting and the choices were good, There was a white that I didnt like but that was a matter of taste rather than quality - the wine was ok just not my thing. I have read the other reviews regarding the food quality to the point that I had practically been intimidated into not coming. In my opinion they are too harsh or outdated, certainly there is a level higher in fine dining than what is on offer here but not much more. Expect a great view, good service (well on Monday anyway!) and excellent food with concomittant price.

Yelp
Let's start saying the view is amazing and the experince is great. To go up 102 m in seconds is really cool. Talking about the food now, it's ok. They had vegan and vegetarian options which I always appreciate but it was not spectacular food. They had a delicious caipirinha and desserts was pretty good. Bathrooms could be better for such a nice restaurant. Cleaner at least. Service was also ok but no English menu and the sister also didn't speak English what was quite surprising.

Yelp
The customer service of this place is nonexistent. Waiting with an elderly person and a toddler at the counter. We had reservation at 12 noon. As instructed by multiple agents at Atomium AND the restaurant FAQ page, we were told to wait by the counter for a restaurant staff to show up at 12 to give access to the restaurant. Ten minutes after reservation time and no one from the restaurant even showed up. The agents for Atomium made it crystal clear that the restaurant is NOT part of Atomium despite the name ... And they were less than interested in helping unless you buy a ticket to see Atomium itself. Very disappointed with how this attraction is managed and operated. Being that Atomium is a well known attraction in Brussels, this frustrating experience left such a bad impression on the entire city.

Yelp
Excellent food and good service - we were pleasantly surprised! We did not have a reservation but they squeezed us in without any fuss. The chicken stew was fantastic - a local Flemish favorite I was told. The beef cheek was a bit tougher than expected, but maybe because we only had a butter knife to cut it. In any case, everything was very tasty and you can't beat the views!

Yelp
I've been in Europe for over two weeks, and the meal here cracks my Top 5 Meals in Europe list. Can't even make that up. I would never have imagined a tourist spot that had incredible food. I was expecting mediocre and overpriced food, but start to finish... It has been a completely wonderful meal. Order: a la carte Belgium menu - 38 Euros Big baller menu - 65 Euros Make sure you get there right when they open at 12! Lunch takes so damn long in Europe that the end up doing one seating per 2.5 hours ! (That being said, I sure enjoyed slowly eating every single bite instead of chomping down like a mad woman!) Service- 5/5 for Europe. Very nice service. I especially like the handsome one that reminded me a lot of my ex boyfriend. He was pretty cute. ;) Food- 5/5 Starter of tomatoes was absolutely beautiful. My buddy had that one along with steak tartare. Tartare was tasty but not the most flavorful one I've had in Europe! I had the mix of seafood, which was so nicely prepared. 5/5 The vegetables were so good! (They use these vegetables on lots of dishes.) A mix of yellow and orange carrots, green beans, and turnips. So delicious!! Super happy face now just thinking about it. Super magical dessert which was the house special- 5/5. Okay, a little too sweet, so order with coffee for perfection. This sucker is amazing. Definitely get this. A glossed sphere that is doused in hot raspberry sauce table side . Seven or eight different components make up your glossy orb for your happy face satisfaction. Totally worth it since the whimsy alone is incredible. Totally make a reservation if you can! Oh, and you can cut the lift line if you have a reservation! I love this place and would gladly come back for a meal.

Yelp
It was a bit confusing finding the entrance. But once inside we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The view is fantastic. We lucked out and got a table beside the window. It's pricey but to be expected. The best deal is the 3 course fixed lunch for $38e. The food was great, and the service was friendly and attentive!

Yelp
I think the food is extremely over-priced for the quality and creativity. The dishes where very basic and lacked panache. Service was very slow and non-personable. The computer system went down which made everything even slower. I recommend the restaurant and bar for a cocktail, coffee, ice tea on a warm day, and a spot to rest and to take in the city view from the top floor of the Atomium. I was starving and there are no other food options near the Atomium, so I ate my lunch here...big regrets and major disappointment. www.restaurant@belgiumtaste.be

Yelp
I differ with some of my Yelp compadres in that I consider the food to be only a part of the dining experience. In this case, the non food aspects of my Atomium experience weigh more heavily. In a blind taste test, food was merely fair overall. I would give them credit for including traditional local fare, but the execution was inconsistent. The service was friendly but also inconsistent. Where the Atomium really shines is the setting. Located in a lush city park, the outrageous mid century sci-fi design sets the tone. The view from the restaurant is one you cannot get anywhere else. NOTE: make sure to get reservations - not all tables have a view.

Yelp
If I can give this zero star I would. Terrible terrible service . We had our reservation at 1 pm - the lady took us up the elevator and a group of us (there were a few parties had reservations) and left us stranded around . Then someone thought if an idea let walk up one more flight and voila - the restraurant was upstairs. After seating- we waited for 30 minutes before anyone gave us the menu - after ordering we wait an hour before any foods came out !!! Two hours later before bread and the first appertizers came out . We asked the waiter and the manager and all we got was foods was coming !!!! Do not come here and meal !!! Terrible terrible experience !!! Left is not thinking very highly of Brussels !!!!!

Yelp
The first star is for the location, on top of Atomium, the second star is for the good service, and the third star is for the lobster. Get the lobster if you come here! The dinning environment is by no means that high end and the food being served is just traditional European cuisine with no surprises. I am never stingy on spending money on food but only on the ones that are worth of the price :-) One sentence conclusion: come here for the experience but not for the food itself.

Yelp
You must put this on your must do list when visiting Belgium. The Atomium Restaurant is a monument in Brussels. I had a nice meal here. I had the pleasure over looking a stunning view of the city at night. Please make sure to make reservations when dining here. The view is magnificent over Brussels!

Yelp
The view and the food were fabulous, but I can only give three stars based on the service. We had reservations at 7:30 (which they couldn't find). No matter -we still got in....at 9pm we still had not received our appetizers! We asked the waitress what the situation was with our food and she told us they had a large party (that came in after us) were being served first. Um ok. Thankfully the view, my husbands company, cocktails, bread and a bottle of wine sustained me while we waited! We finished dinner around 11 and opted to skip dessert since everything had taken so long and it was rather late. Probably wouldn't return....one of those "been there, done that" experiences.

Yelp
Decide to visit the famous landmark and have dinner there at the same time. Glad we did, because Atomium is a museum/ tourist sight by day, and restaurant by night. Closing time is 6pm, and the restaurant opens at 7pm. So if you do go for the restaurant option, you almost have the venue to yourself, well... Just one of the orb, the tallest one, you avoid the queues and people bombing your photos, it's peaceful and quiet. And this time of year when the summers are long and sunsets quite late. You get to enjoy the beautiful sunset over a great view. Not to mention seeing the Atomium light up like a spaceship. You would not be able to see this if you come in the day. Restaurant Interior decor is quirky and fun, 1950s contemporary almost. Its over two floors, I suggest the bottom floor to get the full view. The food was quite decent, certainly larger portions than expected, we tried the regional set menu. Cooked really well. My food pics tells it all. The staff was amazing and efficient, and although busy, made sure we were at least acknowledge. Overall a very good night, walking back to the station, at this time, sun has settled, so you get a different look at the Atomium. Even more spectacular than before, and because it was quiet, it made it even more special. Tres bien.

Yelp
The view is amazing!! The service was slow, but the food once it was received, it was good. We had a large group and the tables were pre-set for us, beautifully. However, it was obvious that they were not well prepared for a group of that size in addition to the general tourist traffic they receive. For a small group (4-6), it is a special place to enjoy a meal and enjoy the view and history of the site.

Yelp
Good: - Service: very polite and professional waiters. - View: Of course, at the top of the atomium the view is wonderful. Not so good - The food is mediocre and much overpriced.

Joris D.

Yelp
We made a reservation two months in advance for my mother-in-law's birthday. The evening before they sent us a text message stating that our reservation was cancelled, without a reason or excuses. Recommended if you like taking a chance, maybe they could offer a combination formula with the casino.

Yelp
We liked it! Forget the views! We are foodies in the food business and we saw professionals working to create a very good, if not great culinary experience. Large menu, I would have gone smaller, delicious wines and good service! We were delighted and you should go here!

Jessica J.

Yelp
Very poor service. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted and "sat" (pointed us in the direction of the "bar"), then sat for another 10-15 minutes and after not being acknowledged by the staff, we left.

Yelp
beautiful views! the restaurant was very futuristic i felt like i was in a rocket . there was not much food select tho and the food was mainly gourmet and extremely overpriced.
