On the Grid : Atrium

"A relatively new addition to Slottsstaden is Atrium, owned by Martin Sjöstrand and Adrian Ndreca. Martin and Adrian are no strangers to the Malmö foodies, maybe first and foremost known from Möllevångstorgets Belle. Here you find simple but delicious things to eat – like salads, cookies and pavlovas. A big plus for the cozy and relaxed grandma’s house-style, mixed with a mediterranean outdoor seating." - Erika Lindén Jansson

Me and a friend tried this popular place after many recommendations from friends - and it was mid. We had a pulled pork sandwich and a avocado sandwich - both were good, but you didn’t get full at all, left you wanting more. We ordered their coffee which was okay, and I tried they homemade lemonade, which in honesty just tasted like Fanta with cinnamon. The decor is super nice and cozy, but the service was nothing special, the staff weren’t that welcoming and kinda cold.

A very cosy and nice local cafe in Malmo where we had a wonderful and delicious breakfast. We’ve got Benedict eggs with ham and salmon, very tasty and nicely dressed and last but not least we’ve found San Sebastian cheesecake so far from it’s origins - Spain, but it has to be admitted that the cheesecake was also very delicious. So highly recommended place.

Fantastic place, with a lovely outdoor area to enjoy spring and summer days. The staff is super friendly; during my last visit, Giullia took care of our table and was incredibly thoughtful. The food is amazing, definitely the best Eggs Benedict in town. My favorite place for brunch in Malmö!

I have been going to Atrium at least twice a month for the last couple of months and I had the best Eggs Benedict so far last Saturday (26/4)… Best brunch in Malmö, no questions asked! Great environment and very friendly staff!

I visited this spot with my wife during a day trip to Malmö after finding it on Google, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. Despite being clearly visible to the staff, we were completely ignored and ended up waiting over 40 minutes without any update on our order. When I finally inquired, the response was rude and unhelpful. When the food eventually arrived, it was cold and tasted stale. The eggs left me with a stomach ache, and the quality of the lox was noticeably poor. Overall, it was a disappointing visit that I wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful neighborhood café with lots of outdoor space, nice cakes and friendly staff. Eggs Benedict Veggie were ok. A great vibe. Airy and relaxed. Update : had the Avokado macka for lunch. Good taste but too little bread.

The place was beautiful and the outside sitting was just the best! Coffee was great too. However, the eggs benedict were more like a sunny side up and a little over cooked. It was still good and therefore the 4 stars, just not exactly what we wanted.

We were sitting outside it was snowing and really cozy. The service was really great and the shaksouka was amazing. Also the cappuccino was excellent, I wonder what kind of coffee you use as it had no bittersweet aftertaste? Keep up the good work, just worth going to Malmö to visit this place.

Yelp
stopped by atrium for some fika and enjoyed the most delicious cakes!! so good that i'm still thinking about them :,) this cafe is located in a quieter neighborhood and serves brunch as well as an assortment of pastries on display. there is indoor seating, though a bit limited, but we managed to get a table. service is friendly and all of the food/pastries look very pretty. i came with my friends and all the cakes looked so good that we each got a different slice and shared! // carrot cake (49sek) // the carrot cake was really nice. the carrot flavor came through and the cream cheese frosting was also good. the cake is also topped with flowers that makes the slice nice to look at. // chocolate cake (49sek) // wow, this cake slice was so rich and chocolate-y. it was a dense dark chocolate with a fudgey top. i'm glad i shared this slice with my friends since it was so rich but it was so good. i also appreciated the flakey sea salt on top which added a nice flavor. it also comes with cream which is light and airy. // cheesecake (49sek) // the cheesecake looked the most simple, but its flavor was great. a classic cheesecake, but not too sweet. i loved all three different cake flavors and will definitely come back again!

Yelp
If you love good coffee, pastries and beautiful spaces, invest the time in Atrium. Located to the west of downtown, Atrium is a corner cafe with hanging plants throughout the space. Here's why you should go: 1) Coffee: They have a full coffee menu. I ordered a latte and it came in a large glass glass with plenty of foam. In case you need it, there's sugar in the condiment area. 2) Food: They have a wide pastries selection, but we ordered their tahini chocolate chip cookie. It's flat, but large. It was flavorful and balanced a chewy center and an crunchy outside. 3) Space: It's beautiful! There's an outdoor patio and three areas inside to sit at with plenty of seats and outlets. 4) Wifi: It's strong, free and doesn't require a password. I went outside to the patio and still had a strong connection. I was able to FaceTime with my family in Washington, D.C. with no connection problems.
