Had an amazing breakfast here! For 580 pesos (not incl tip) you get 1 starter, 1 main, juice and coffee. They also bring extra things (pastries, compliments). Everything was delicious!

Atta is a restaurant in the backyard of the Shibari hotel. It has an extremely beautiful and aesthetic area with a cenote in the middle. It's super quiet, compared to other places in the area, which we appreciate. The service is very attentive and fast. We tried the lobster noquis (highly recommended), fried shrimps, crab tacos, Peruvian ceviche, and guava cheesecake for dessert. The only thing that disappointed was the dessert as it was lacking something, probably a maracuya or guava topping. The crab tacos were ok but not mindblowing as the noquis were. The ceviche is also a good option. Prices are high but worth it due to the ambiance. If using the GPS to get here, put the hotel address instead of the restaurant since the GPS will tell you to come through Kukulkan Ave and that back entrance is closed and private.

The menu has a diverse selection and the food is beautifully prepared. The chef is thoughtful with presentation and the waiters make sure to ask if you have dietary or allergy restrictions. Everything our group of 7 tried was delicious. There was not a single bad item. The fresh juices as so tasty. Can’t wait to come back!! Chef made a personal introduction and was so polite wanting to make sure we were enjoying everything. Amazing service!

We stayed at Shibari for our first time in late April 2024 and were extremely impressed with the resortand Atta. Atta and the hotel are fairly new, but you would not know it when dining there. Dinner is served in the same location as where breakfast is served, and it’s a very bright and open restaurant where you can feel the ocean breeze and have a view of the beautiful Tuuch cenote. Breakfast is included in your stay, but dinner is à la carte. We decided to eat at Atta for our first night in Tulum because we traveled from South America earlier that day and were very tired upon arriving at the hotel. We were both so happy that we chose Atta because it truly was delicious. The pricing is a bit expensive because it’s in the tourist zone of Tulum but still less than I would spend back home in Los Angeles. Our server was extremely polite and food items came out very quickly. I started off with the meal with the Ceviche Verde and truly loved it. I have avocado back home in LA, but this avocado was exceptionally tasty and so was the fish. Every part of it was amazing and I actually came from Peru where ceviche was invented prior to this and I liked this Mexican version even more than what I had in Peru. For my entrée, I chose the Filete de Pescado a la Talla and also loved it. The seasoning on the fish is what made it for me. We also ordered some Guacamole for the table and it is a bit different than the American version in that it is basically just avocado, no tomatoes or cilantro, but that is the best part of it anyway, and we truly loved and ate every every bit of it. I would recommend to anyone staying at Shibari or to anyone visiting Tulum because it really is that delicious. I plan to be back next time I am in the area.

Best restaurant in Tulum! The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The stunning view of the cenote added to the ambiance, and the music was absolutely amazing.

The wait staff were amazing. The cenote, DJ, other guests and everything about the day was perfect. It’s a beautiful, relaxing spot. Where else can you have a day bed on a cenote with a good DJ for $40? Best bargain on the beach!

Atta is located inside the premises of Hotel Shibari. Our hotel stay included breakfast here. The espresso and all juices were great. The food was awesome. There is a resident DJ here most days playing Rufus du sol and Tulum-vibe house music. The cenote is the perfect temperature and vibrant with fish. If you see someone using non-biodegradable lotion/oil, report it to staff immediately. There are 3 showers located near cenote to rinse off before and after use. All the chairs are covered with protective towels which get picked up every night. Cenote towels can be found on chairs or ask a staff member. Plenty of sun and plenty of shade any time of day.

Leo and alan were the kindest people I’ve ever met, they met us at the front of the gorgeous restaurant, showed us the cenote, did a Mayan vibes ceremony and then proceeded to bring us an incredible meal with incredible service. I will absolutely be back and will be staying at this hotel as soon as I can!
