Attalos Hotel

Very good location, a couple of minutes to the metro and a direct line to the airport. Everything is within walking distance. We had a room on the second floor with windows overlooking the courtyard. It was quiet and renovated. The furniture was simple but nice. Good and comfortable lighting. The air conditioning worked well and was not noisy. A good shower in the bathroom. The guest room provided slippers and two complimentary bottles of water. The breakfast was good, not varied, but quite good to start the day. Hot dish -scrambled and boiled and eggs, sausages, and bacon. Delicious pastries, muesli, and fruit were available. A coffee machine and various types of tea. Cons: there are no shelves in the closet, body soap and shampoo are in one tube, and there is no body cream.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights pre-cruise. We were pleasantly impressed with the location, cleanliness and staff at Attalos. The breakfast included was plentiful and delicious! The view from the roof top bar and our room was amazing. We could see|The Acropolis all|Lit up at night which was awesome. Walking distance to the plaka and acropolis was perfect. We would|Definitely stay there again

Staff members were all very friendly, attentive and kind. The check in process was very efficient and smooth, the room itself was very comfortable and very clean and the balcony had a really nice side view of the Acropolis. Despite being located on a central avenue, the hotel was very quiet. It might not have the most modern interior design, however this is such a minimal and insignificant detail. The terrace provides even more clear views of the Acropolis and it makes for a great breakfast or rooftop bar spot. The location of the hotel is just excellent. Thank you for a great and pleasant stay!

I loved my stay at this hotel. You receive a very warm welcome which continues whenever you past the reception desk. Good size room and bathroom. I liked sitting out on my balcony. Unfortunately the large trees spoilt my view of the Acropolis but then you have the Roof Top Garden and Bar.|The views of the Acropolis at night when it was lit up was very good from the roof top. The bar has got two very good bar tenders, Maria and Christos. I ended up chatting to them when I was in the bar. They are very friendly and they knew everyone's drink and returning customers.|I really enjoyed my stay at the Attalos from the staff, Greek breakfast, perfect location.|I would love to return

Fantastic hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The room was big and well appointed. The view from our private balcony of the acropolis was breathtaking. Good location in Athens - so much around to do and eat! The people were amazing and the breakfast was fabulous!!! Definitely get a booking with breakfast included - filled us up for most of the day and a huge selection.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. One block from the main square area which is filled with shops and restaurants. Approximately 10 minute walk to the acropolis as well. Very busy area with lots of cafes and places to stroll. The rooms are fine - actually good size and the a/c worked incredibly well. The highlight by far of this hotel, besides its location, is the rooftop bar. Absolutely stunning views. Definitely recommend.

We booked the hotel, for 1 night as we were there for a concert. We arrived on a very wet afternoon, we was shown our room which was perfectly comfortable, and very clean, we unpacked and went to reception to ask were we could buy some supplies (mini market across the road)|Also a kebab shop across the road very helpful. |We decided to head to the rooftop bar before our taxi picked us up, the mojitos were delicious and the views amazing. |We felt very safe as two women on our own, but liked the 24 hour reception. |We checked out early to go and explore, we asked reception if it was possible that we good come back later as our taxi driver was picking us up, this was not a problem…so we headed to the rooftop bar 😄couple more mojitos —-|We enjoyed our stay so much as everyone was polite and helpful we have booked to stay again in 2026 for 3 days, so we can explore the city.

Had a fantastic stay for 4 nights at Attalos Hotel. The room had everything we needed for a short stay, and whilst a little old fashioned, we didn't have any complaints. Before arriving, I asked to change to a room with a balcony which was accommodated with no problems. When we arrived, we found that we had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony and view of the Acropolis - amazing! The rooftop bar was another great part of the hotel, with amazing views of the Acropolis and reasonably priced drinks - €7.50 cocktails seemed to be a very good price for a cocktail in Athens! The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was located in an ideal location for exploring the city - we even managed to walk everywhere and didn't need to use the metro apart from going to/from the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for a central stay in Athens.
