"Atticus Creamery & Pies, West La. West LA’s newest ice cream shop has already set the bar pretty high because, as the name suggests, they serve both ice cream and pie. And even cookies! They have a very friendly team that’s more than happy to help you sample their confectionary landscape, and with some of their flavors being on the adventurous side, sampling is exactly what you’ll want to do. Their ice cream ranges from more intuitive flavors: Brownie a la Mode and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana, to the more avant-garde: Sweet Corn, Cereal & Milk, Potato Chip Chocolate. Their pies are just as diverse, and they let you sample those too! This place will cause you to consider making dessert an entire meal."

Great place for your sweet tooth. Small daily baked pies, and also a small selection of ice cream. Try their pues along with an ice cream ball on top and you'll be in heaven. Oregon pie and Nutella ice cream is my favorite.

The girl at the counter was super nice and let us sample all kinds of stuff! We ended up with a triple berry pie, honeycomb ice cream, and strawberries and creme ice cream. Everything was really delicious, and what a beautiful day to be outside to eat it! Love that this place is nearby. We'll certainly be back.

We had an impromptu Thanksgiving and ended up searching for pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving Day. We found Atticus and were not disappointed. We bought an assortment of pies. The crusts were buttery and flaky and the ice cream and whip cream were freshly made and some of the best we’d ever had. It was obvious they use high quality ingredients. I’d love to see Atticus create a bigger selection of breakfast pastry and dessert options because they use such quality ingredients and a creative baking style. Would definitely recommend and would be great to buy for events and family meals. Thanks Atticus!

The watermelon milkshake ice cream was delicious but we were disappointed with the pies. First, they are not really "pies" but actually tarts. Individually the crust and fillings are tasty but there is a lack of integration between the crust and filling, very unsatisfying. Both the cheesecake and cream pie fillings, while sweet and interesting sounding, leave you wondering "what was that I just ate?" The cheesecake was too much like a mousse and the cream pie filling was more of a pudding. The chocolate chip cookie, while average, did contain a plethora of chips.
