We have stayed at the Atura Adelaide airport on numerous occasions and stay in the King room which is a good size with room for our suitcases, a comfy bed with sheets, doona and spare blanket, great shower, a sink to wash your coffee cups. There's a TV and lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and provided tea, bcoffee, herbal teas and milk. This time we stayed in a Starter room which was tiny. There was no room for our suitcases, not even under the bed so they blocked the exit. The bed, which was comfortable took up all the space in the room. There was not even a top sheet and only 1 pillow each and the linen was fresh. The only way to get into bed was via the foot of the bed. A small sink was in the main room for hadwashing or to grab a glass of water. . There was a small shower and a toilet. Towels were clean but old and not fluffy. A fold up table and 1 foldup stool were provided. There was no TV, tea or coffee, cups or phone. This room would be better suited to a traveller or a couple just wanting somewhere to sleep for a few hours between flights but as a couple we found it claustrophobic. Will be sure to book the Atura King in future. |
