Au Cabaret Vert

The boutique accommodation offered a freestanding bungalow amidst a tropical garden setting. Breakfast was served in the open-air restaurant or within the lovely garden setting. There were several options to choose from for breakfast, all of which were more than adequate to start the day.||Our 3-night stay was made comfortable with a cosy bed, tea making facilities, and spacious bathroom. We couldn’t get the water temperature above tepid, but that wasn’t of much concern in such humid weather. We enjoyed a lot of downtime by the pool, which is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, and the bungalow’s private terrace. ||Whilst the setting is mostly tranquil, please be aware there is a commercial property next door which makes some noise with sawing/drilling at times. The property is also situated a little out of town, so you will need a tuk-tuk to get around. Most trips only cost a dollar or two, which didn’t bother us.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The hosts were kind and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. It felt peaceful and homely — a perfect place to relax after exploring. Highly recommended!

What a hidden gem in Battambang, Cambodia! The cottages are clean, spacious and well appointed. The meals are delicious and the grounds gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and professional. Just ask and they will make every attempt to get you what you need. Come stay here and enjoy the tropical beauty of Au Cabaret Vert!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing surroundings area, very green and beautiful garden. Food is delicious too.

Beautiful bungalow accommodation just outside the city centre! We loved our stay here, and the grounds are just beautiful! The owner made a point of saying hello to all the guests at breakfast which I thought was a lovely touch. Wifi is excellent, as are the laundry services! The food here was really tasty. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Battambang.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our recent trip to Battambang, the setting is nice and quiet with a lovely pool.||The small bungalow type rooms and well appointed and have everything that you need.||We had breakfast included in our price, the choice was egg central but lucky for me they had Khmer soup which was delicious. My wife had poached eggs which she really enjoyed.||The staff were really friendly and helpful.||The hotel organised a tuk tuk tour with our driver Cambodian David; David was super knowledgeable and took us off the beaten tourist track which we appreciated.||All in all a solid choice if you’re staying for a night or so.

Not impressed. Sheets dirty (they did change them), air conditioner not working (they did fix it), pillow very uncomfortable (although they did provide a moderately better alternative), everyone is very nice, but it took an hour for us to get our food for dinner. Breakfast was also very very slow. Shower is awful. I would not stay here again.
