Lovely place. Good location w easy access to where we needed to be. No help at all w securing transport to the airport. Staff was all business, but w/o warmth or friendly vibe. Breakfast was delicious but meager. We had to keep asking for toilet paper. But they brought us extra hangers and an ironing board and iron right away when we asked. I think French speakers will be more comfortable there than we were. I do appreciate what they did for us.

We were lucky to stay in this lovely property. It is within walking distance of the historic section of Bordeaux with everything easy to access via public transport.||The staff is very welcoming with tourist maps, restaurant recommendations and even allowed us to check in early! Aurore and Emily and another nice lady ( we forgot her name!) were all extremely kind. ||Our suite was fantastic- located on the second floor/ with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with a shower a piece. Beds were comfortable and the modern bath was clean with plenty of hot water. The rooms were lovely- high ceilings with period furniture.||The breakfast was plentiful- fresh croissants and jam, coffee, yogurt and charcuterie and fresh fruit. Delicious!||Don’t hesitate to book!

This B&B in Bordeaux is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the best sights, cafes, and shops. You can explore the charm of Bordeaux without needing a car, which makes it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are comfortable, with good beds that ensure a restful night's sleep. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, it’s not elaborate, but it’s just what you need to fuel up before heading out. Overall, this B&B is a wonderful choice for those looking for a well-located, comfortable stay in Bordeaux without breaking the bank. Would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful, French style boutique in the centre of Bordeaux. We found the location fantastic and walked everywhere, the majority of sights/shops places of interest are within a 10/15 minute walk to b&b. Leticia is very friendly and helpful, showing us lots of great places of interest and recommending good food places. The lady serving breakfast is also very friendly too. The rooms are beautifully decorated with quirky pictures, ornaments and sweet little balcony with French doors. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern with fantastic large shower. A good selection in mini bar and reasonably priced. Yes the spiral stairs are windy and go up to about 4 floors I think, but don't moan about the staircase, if you want a lift go to a large commercialised hotel instead! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This charming B&B truly lives up to its name, “In the Heart of Bordeaux.” It’s a cozy spot located just a few hundred meters from Hôtel de Ville Bordeaux and all of the DT Bordeaux attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for a B&B. While the shower took a minute or two to heat up—a common occurrence in smaller accommodations—we always had plenty of hot water once it did. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly our host, Laetitia. She was incredibly attentive and served a delicious breakfast every morning, featuring homemade yogurt and galettes. At checkout, we left our luggage at the B&B since our train wasn’t departing for several hours. Unfortunately, my wife accidentally left her purse there, which included her passport. It was a stressful situation, but Laetitia came to our rescue. She found the purse and ensured we were able to retrieve it—a true lifesaver! One thing to note: the property doesn’t have an elevator, so guests with mobility issues might face some challenges although for us the spiral staircase really added to its charm and authenticity. Overall, this B&B is a fantastic choice for a home base while exploring Bordeaux. Highly recommended!

As a matter of rule I try not to write negative reviews but feel on this occasion one is warranted. For us it seemed that we'd found a gem of a place.Tram from Airport to Meriadeck & a 5 min walk brought us to the Au Coeur de Bordeaux - Perfect...| Location is good but forget the rest. The greeting was Ok but not particularly warm or welcoming. Anyone with mobility issues will struggle with the fairly steep winding staircase. Our room was on the 1st floor [front right] - No Hot water in the Shower, Towels were like crisps - thin & crinkly & radiator in the bedroom somehow managed to be slightly hot on 1 side & cold on the other, the bed very uncomfortable & only worsened by the Weekend Revellers leaving 'The Irish Bar' just round the corner from the Building... you've been warned.Breakfast was very poor - Limited Choices & Quality awful - It's almost like the management are trying to do everything on the Cheap. It's a real shame because it's such a lovely building, good location to walk to most landmarks and could be a cracker really.I'm really struggling to say anything positive about the place.

As the name of the guest house says the location is really central and useful for the visit of Bordeaux historical center. Nice and characteristic room with a comfortable bed. Brand new bathroom equipped with a wide shower. Gentle staff. Suggested place to stay :-)
