Au comptoir des capucins

A lady that I met in Providence from Bordeaux told me to try this place. She told me to try their bone marrow (Os à moelle) and I decided to give it a try. It was moist and tasty, a bit too gelatinous for my taste and a bit gamey....but not bad. It came with croutons and it was nice and warm. I also got the frites maison, which are like poutine...fries with a heavy sauce topping...it was also very heavy for my taste, but not bad. Remember that restaurants in the area usually only open from 12-2pm for lunch and 7p-11p for dinner. Plan accordingly.

Good local restaurant in a neighborhood with few choices. Waitress spoke perfect English and was friendly and outgoing. Bartender( owner?) was interested about how I we liked ourchoices.

This little Bistro across the Marche is a treasure. Carla is up front and by herself manages 20 tables and maintains her grace and charm. In the kitchen comes the finest steak tartar I've ever had. Was a memorable meal ... PS. Please don't tell Carla how to do her job. I don't know anyone that does it better than this young lady
