I had to go up to Quebec urgently for a court case. I wanted something in the Old City, with breakfast, near the Court House. My office found this place for me. I had no idea what to expect. As you can tell from the rating, I was completely charmed. I had to rush over from Montreal. Patricia, the owner/manager waited up past their usual hour for me and received me like I was family. I needed to be in Court early the next day, so she prepared a wonderful breakfast for me earlier than the usual hour. My associate stayed at a fancy hotel on Charest Street and paid 2.5 times as much. She had a gym, air-conditioning and a huge room. If that's what you want, go there. If you want a charming home with just three rooms to rent and shared bathrooms, you will feel very much at home in this place.

Stayed here one night last October. It was ok but nothing special. I felt more being tolerated rather than welcomed. My most vivid memory of the stay is at breakfast the next morning: When asked if she could add a bit more fruit to my breakfast bowl, she had this rather painful look on her face while I could almost hear her inner debate whether she should grant me the request! After the longest 5 seconds I had ever experienced, she said a reluctant "Yes" only to return with 3 teeny pieces of some unrecognizable fruits, probably from a can anyways! The whole episode was both comical and sad. I had stayed at quite a few B&Bs on this trip in Canada and most of them were better than great. This one was an unfortunate exception. Maybe time had been hard and business was not easy, but being so calculating was probably not the best way to win back customers. I'm heading over there again this summer, and will surely not go back to them.

I would highly recommend this BnB for your stay in Quebec city. Wonderful host with great breakfasts including fresh juices, homemade bread and condiments. Nice old house with shared bathroom.

Delightful! It was really tiny, only three rooms, sharing two bathrooms, but we were all treated like Royalty. Very homy and well located. I would certainly recommend it.

Best place you can get for the lowest rate available. So close to everything, wonderful host, super amenities and delicious breakfast. I enjoyed my stay all the days as i was staying for a conference at convention centre.

Yelp
This was the only B&B we stayed at in Quebec City but I can say with confidence that it is the best. I can't imagine a more friendly and accommodating host. She is just fantastic. My wife and I stayed here 5 nights and never had trouble sleeping and left our valuables there with full confidence. Another great thing about this place is the location. It is located on "restaurant row" which is Saint-John. A creperie called le billig is a 60 second walk and has delicious food. There is also the best coffee shop you will ever go to right next to the B&B. This place is serious about their beans. The Old Quebec City wall is only a 10 minute stroll away with Old Quebec right after it. We stayed in the yellow and green room. Both were very nice. The yellow room is better for a couple and the green room for a couple and a child. The breakfast was always timely and fresh. She caters to your schedule by asking when you want breakfast (between 8 and 9:30 am). Yogurt, granola, and fruit every morning with French press coffee. She switches the main meal every day. We had waffles, crepes, and an egg and cheese bagel. The only downside to the breakfast for me was the lack of meat. I am a carnivore but I was still pleased every day.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here two nights over the Canada Day long weekend. We stayed in the green room which was clean, spacious and charming. Our hosts Louise and Rene were wonderful, they made us feel welcomed and at home. The morning breakfasts were delicious and served in the library. To me this was an excellent start to our day of sight seeing. Also, you cant beat the location and proximity to the old town. I highly recommend this place and if ever in Quebec City again would definitely stay again.

Yelp
I very much enjoyed my stay at Au Croissant de Lune! Located just off of Rue St. Jean, the location was just far away enough from the old town to feel away from the tourist hustle and bustle, but close enough to access all the sites we planned on visiting by foot. I was maybe a 10 min walk to the old city wall and a 15 min walk to the Chateau Frontenac. Rue St. Jean is full of amazing restaurants, including Le Billig, an amazing creperie which is about a block away from the B&B. The owners are amazing. They acquired the place about 4 months ago. Very responsive by email, spoke very good English and all around very friendly and helpful orienting us to the city. The breakfast was mango juice, yogurt and fruit, waffles or pancakes, french press coffee and bagels. It was all freshly made and very delicious. We stayed in the blue room which was clean and very quiet. Parking is on the street, which is free from early evening until 9am and $2 dollars an hour after that. There is also a nearby hotel you can park at for a flat rate. All this and only about $100 for the night including tax (off season, mid-week)! I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Quebec City!
