Au lit des ours

Our room was tiny but lovely. The bed sheets and the towels were nice and clean, but the rest of the room could have been cleaned better. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet; there was a lot of Varieté and the food was fresh and delicious. They provide a large parking lot for the clients for free. Furthermore, the location of the hotel couldn't be any better, in the heart of the small village.

The hotel is very cozy. Really nice welcome at reception, had a little box of chocolate as an attention in the room for Valentine's day. Room was small but comfortable. Very clean. Separate bathroom and toilet with very small toilet. Location is ideal with a big private parking. Breakfast had good warm and cold options. The only negative point being the noise level at night. The room got stuff and we had to open the window. Then you heard the noise of the heating system going on and off all night. Didn't sleep very well.

Great Service, Privat Parking with video. Super Restaurant with great dishes and tasty Beer card. The Personal is friendly and at all time on your side. Great stay at all. Breakfest Buffet is richtig and jummy..

A bit small room and no AC It’s quite hot in summer. But good location.

Great hotel with beautiful, spaceous rooms. The service was very forthcoming: when we asked for bikes, or extra mattresses and accommodation for my father's wheelchair, the staff helped to think of possibilities every time. A point of improvement is the availability of the staff at the reception, we had to wait for fifteen minutes before someone showed up. Other than that: lovely hotel, kind and helpful staff, and great location in the middle of the Ardennes.

An amazing hotel! The rooms are comfortable and delightful. It is very stylized. Sits just near the office of Domain caves of Han. The hotel offers a great breakfast that includes eggs, meat, cheese, hot/cold beverages, bread of several types and much more. The staff is generous, understanding and competent. We asked a room for 3 people, and got a room for a couple with up to 2 children. The room for the children cannot satisfy an adult. When we approached the hotel clerk with this problem, he transferred us to another similar room, except this time the inside room featured 2 normal sized beds (instead of bunk bed) with a sky-view window. Attached are the images from the window view and of the final room we settled in. In the room, you can find a small refrigerator for your usage, large bed for 2 people, TV, a bath and toilet, and all high end. Highly recommend. Enjoy your stay!

We had a great time at 'Au Lit Des Ours' in Rochefort, the Belgian Ardennes! What a terrific and cosy hotel at walking distance from the famous Grottes de Han. Clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and a good restaurant. Désirée is also a must visit, well known for its famous 'gaufres' or Belgian waffles. We come back!

I can't speak about the totally service of this place 😒 my review is just About the restaurant 19:30 31 of May we decide dinner here we see from outside people and we just sit outside was warm day and one of the waiter already 👀 we coming well we sit there for 30 minutes and not one come 😀 👍 😉 well after wait I decided go inside and see why.. the restaurant was pretty empty 6 people dinner and maybe 4 more tables with some 🍸 I come inside and say we are outside for dinner 🍽 them a 👧 what works there after 30 minutes waiting just say it's not possible dinner because the kitchen not accept more people.. well I know normally the dinner in the Netherlands and 🇧🇪 are pretty early but if you can't give more dinner just go to the table and say before one wait 30 minutes for is not possible 😉 o take off the table card front the door what Say Dinner Here! With all your menu.. for good lucky of us we choose a nice hotel the mercury 😀 we back there and 20:15 I ask if was possible and they give one of the best 👌 meals Its pretty hard I give a bad review but you totally deserve.. Au lit des ours...
