This is a review of the restaurant — we were not guests at the Auberge. For starters, I enjoyed the best poutine I have ever eaten here. Other dishes ordered by our party of six were equally flavorful, authentic, and perfectly prepared. The kitchen crew/chef are the real deal here, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The setting is lovely — highly recommend dining on the terrace, weather permitting.

Great view from the patio and typical prices for a casual tourist stop, but you pay for it in the time it takes to get served your food. Took well over an hour for a sandwich, salad, and kids burger to be plated and brought to us after ordering. The side of mustard on one of the plates was crusted over, suggesting the meal was under a lamp for a while. Probably wouldn’t care this much to leave a review if the server at least acknowledged the long wait, offered an apology, and kept us updated. Thumbs up for the venue, food tasted good once it arrived (although that could be the “hangries” talking), but general service was disappointing.

Great restaurant wonderful food and view, i did not stay there, and maybe one day I will.

Small but very clean room. Nice and quiet. The river view was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Restaurant service was very good. Restaurant service was excellent. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We spent one night at this motel-like Auberge, on the second floor as the main is a restaurant/bar. The room was very clean. The decor was warm with knotty pine style furniture. Comfortable bed. Little storage space with a small sink in the room, outside the bathroom. Stephanie registered us and was very friendly and accommodating. A very good, full breakfast was included in the price. Parking was free, right in front of the Auberge. The terrasse has a great view of the river and at night was beautifully lit and the bar service was great.

Good food. No e server. Fun atmosphere. After we put our order in it took forever for the food to come. || Club sandwich was pretty good. Smoked meat plugins and pulled pork plugins was good. Classic burger was good.

I did not want to write this review, but I feel I have no choice. ||This is a basic inn. It is clean, which is important, but the bed was very very uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok. It was in the mini fridge the day before. Boiled eggs, pate, some cold meats, and some small pastries. The problem: We could not sleep. The bed was painfully hard and if you move even a little to change position, it makes so much noise that you wake up your partner. ||Our room was beside the kitchen and smelled strongly of food. ||After a sleepless night, we decided to leave early. We booked and paid for 2 nights and were promised a refund for the second night. The owner told us she would process it that afternoon. My mistake was trusting her. It has been 2 weeks so far and they have not replied to repeated emails. They have completely ignored us and stolen our money. We would have endured another night and eaten another breakfast that we had paid for if we had known this would happen. I am very frustrated. They owe us $180 plus taxes.

Interesting decoration. PETA's not gonna like it here. Could be nice to sit outside in the summer with the river view but no in the fall or winter Food's pretty mediocre. Ordered 2 burgers. Crab cake burger used fried crab cake that doesn't taste much. Crispy cake though. No English menu. Price's average here

We stayed for one night at the post. The location is great and the rooms had a warm and cozy cottage feel. We booked a table for dinner and really enjoyed the food. We had a seafood platter for 2 and the presentation was a home run in my books. Our waiter was super friendly and really seemed enjoy his job ! Quick with drink suggestions and conversation. We highly recommend staying or dinning here if you visit the island.

This place has a magnificent view and the food is decent. The sauce of the linguini seemed premade but overall it tasted good. The staff was kind and there were flowers next to the table which looked beautiful. I definitely recommend this place.

Disappointed in the service. The waiter had us come inside pay when he could have brought us the portable credit card machine to us. Not to mentioned they automatically charge full gratuity without our consent. Overall the items we ordered were solid.
