If you want a perfect, romantic dinner, in a small, cute and quaint restaurant in an incredibly gorgeous town from the past (Honfleur), then I would highly recommend Au p'tit mareyeur. For less than 50 euros, you can get a small snack to start, a not-so-small appetizer, a delicious seafood main, a cheese course, and a huge dessert that will make you stuffed and happy. How to describe the food? 1) Creative - the salmon ceviche comes on a bed of sweet salad (similar to cole slaw) and with a few surprises (a scoop of ice cream anyone?); 2) Local & Authentic - I am not a fan of Camembert cheese, but here, I had the best Camembert of my life! How to describe the overall experience? One that will remain in your fond memories for some time in the future. For it will surely remain in mine, and I hope to one day come back :)

Wonderful place, very charming atmosphere- but food is the main focus. One of the best dishes I’ve had in France. Staff were also lovely. Highly recommend

Everything we had was absolutely fantastic and bursting with creativity from the chef. The presentations were lovely and service was attentive and kind. We found a gem!

We had dinner here. Our starters were ok, mains good, deserts disappointing. The restaurant is more suited to a party of up to 4. We were 7, and it felt like we were a bit in a way, as restaurant is a bit too small for a large group. The service was ok, but not overly friendly, not a smile in sight. The wine selection was very poor. There was no choice for red wine whatsoever. Overall menu was very limited. Their boulabaise wasn’t available.

Had some lovely fish mains here and one of the oddest ceviches ever. The dessert were very nice and top marks for presentation. Service was fine and prices reasonable.

Our waitress was the sweetest lady! I have a gluten allergy and she was so considerate and gave me substitutes to enjoy. She made the experience worth every bite! The food was delicious but she was the best 😌

Nice restaurant with good service. The bouillabaise soupe is very well filled and a big portion. We ate lunch here but would also be lovely for dinner. Option to have a menu, which we did not do.

We went for lunch and got a seat inside. It’s a very cozy authentic place and they have immaculate music taste (they played AURORA??!! Omg). The food was brilliant, probably the best we had in our trip. Beautiful presentation and really interesting blend of flavors that’s easy to like. Portion sizes were perfect for brunch. Only the “floating and crunchy island” dessert was much too big.

Very nice place with a fresh and creative menu. Trust the chef and the plat du jour...!
