Amazing views from the top of the lighthouse. There are free tours every half an hour of the grounds and the lighthouse. Rangers and volunteers are very nice and knowledgeable. There is a stamp station at this place. Hiking to the lighthouse was easy, flat road about 3 miles round trip. The parking lot gets full fast.

It was a bit of a hike to get there, but when you see the first glimpse of the lighthouse as you're walking the path, it is spectacular and breath-taking. Have your camera ready, because the walk itself is picturesque. You're gonna want to stop and take as many photos as you can with the shoreline being right next to the hiking trail. I highly recommand taking this beautiful walk to see the lighthouse! We went in late October and the fall foliage was at peak colors. It was spectacular!

Free lighthouse tours every 30 minutes! The park rangers here are very friendly and helpful. We passed through here on our multi day backpacking trip. Was also pleasantly surprised that we got cel service here too. Plenty of shade to take a rest and relax. Great views and very serene.

Has a quaint, remote feeling. The hike from the Log Slide to the light house is SO beautiful and very much worth it…wouldn’t say it’s a beginner hike, though. There’s a bit of elevation change and it’s 2.2 miles.

It is a 1.7 mile walk on a vehicle trail to the lighthouse a ton of black flies Were there when we did it. There’s parking down by the trailhead. There’s also campsites there.

Amazing lighthouse with great view. I was allowed in on a last minute for the last tour of the day thanks to the friendly staff. Just make sure to plan for black flies on the hike

Beautiful lighthouse. Grounds have incredible views of the lake and dunes in the distance. Fairly long walk but on an easy flat gravel road. Other history boards to view on the way to the lighthouse. Dog friendly anywhere right of the bridge. No dogs in buildings.

Pretty cool lighthouse at end of easy, flat 1.5 mile (each way) walk from parking. Well worthwhile.
