Lovely room, v.good sleeping quality, great location, a simple, wholesome breakfast that stole our (and our kid's) heart, excellent resto recommendations, gentle, yo-the-point hosting. Highly recommendable in the lovely saint Valery sur somme.

I had a wonderful time at La Femme d'a Cote. My room was decorated beautifully, comfortable, clean, and a peaceful haven. The owners are lovely people, they are the nicest hosts imaginable. They made me feel at home. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this establishment. It exceeded my expectations! :)

The people who run/own this couldn't be more welcoming. The rooms are quirky and delightful . For 125 euros we had a smashing bedroom, lovely modern and clean bathroom and a charming sitting room - right opposite the church and its bells. The cost included a really good breakfast , in a gorgeous salon, of fresh bread, warm croissant and three home made jams . They also offer to freshly cook an egg .The location is excellent - minutes walk from restaurants, shops and the estuary - and a quick walk to the main town centre. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed in France

Wonderful bed and breakfast! We stayed there for a couple days and nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was very clean, and super cozy with nice wooden furniture, with modern yet authentic touch and taste. The hosts were very friendly, and extremely obliging during breakfast, which was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed just one night here early October but wished we had booked for longer. The location is stunning with views from our bedroom - number 1 across to the old church. The bells don't ring all night but add to the atmosphere during daylight hours. It's a quiet location at night. There are restaurants through the archway within a few minutes walk if you don't want to go down into the main town centre.||This twin room is spacious and very stylish, a lot of thought has gone into the decor.||We had a super breakfast, quality coffee, organic fruit juices etc and even boiled eggs.||Lovely hosts. Would like to revisit next year. Parking wasn't a problem as we were easily able to park on the street within sight of our room.

I staid at this guesthouse for a few days over the Xmas holidays and found exactly what I was looking for: a nice place to rest (no TV - but I did not go there to watch TV) in a charming river-side "village". The team (family owned with several staff helping out in the restaurant and for cleaning) was super fantastic: very friendly but discreet as well. ||||The rooms have a modern / antique style to them with wooden floors (creaking at times, but that's part of the charm). There's only 8 of them spread over two houses, in a rather quiet area near the river (but no river view). Breakfast is organic-oriented, continental style.||||I also decided to have lunch one day and I have to say, it was the best meal I had in the area: refined and tasty. The restaurant was more than packed ;-)

My partner and I stayed 2 nights in this great little hotel in Saint Valery sur Somme. It has a quiet location in the village, just near the church. Rooms are nice en tidy. Decoration and accomodation were very tastefull, nice design. Bathroom is good, clean and deluxe. Staff is excellent, very welcoming and the fact that my french is pretty poor was no problem. They spook english. Breakfast was included, among other things: fresh bread, homemade jams en good coffee. Prices were also reasonable. I also recommend having 'dejeuner' at the Au VélOcipède, which is from the same owners. This is the best place I ate in Saint Valery. There is no parking facility at the hotel, but you can park your car at the church square. This costs about 8 euro a day. When you are planning on visiting Saint Valery I would surely recommend staying at La Femme d'a Cote!

We had a one night stay on our way back from Normandy to the ferry in Calais. It's a lovely quiet hotel opposite the old church. We were able to park easily almost outside the hotel. We had a beautiful large twin room with en suite shower room. Both were incredibly well decorated with great attention to comfort and detail. The hotel boasts an inner courtyard which in summer must be idilic for that first glass of wine in the evening. Madam served a traditional breakfast with lovely crunchy breads and croissant with a choice of jams. And boiled eggs! This was a great stop off on our way to and from our house in Normandy so will definitely be staying again.
