"Aubade is consistently cited as one of the best coffee shops in the world, so you might expect big things—but big is one thing this place is most certainly not. In fact, if you’re joined by two friends, you will have filled all of the stools at the tiny stand, which is located inside a cool vintage shop that sells everything from antique typewriters to old neon signs. But don’t let the stripped-down offerings fool you: when it comes to coffee, Aubade punches well above its weight, with an owner (who's also the sole barista) who crafts each brew by hand." - Jennifer Van Evra

Cool coffee shop inside the antique store. We had a nice conversation with two knowledgeable baristas. It was a lot of fun watching them prepare the coffee. Unfortunately I wasn’t a big fan of latte with vegan milk. However it was a very interesting experience.

This was a great coffee with an experience all rolled into one! A unique coffee stop, aided by the friendly atmosphere of the staff and his friends. The coffee itself was excellent; well-brewed, with a focus on bringing out the flavor of the bean, not getting a specific “coffee” flavor. Would recommend to anyone!

[Full Review: lazymocha. com/] If you are into the art of making a cup coffee, this is for you. Aubade is a vegan cafe. Coming to Aubade Coffee is a learning experience. This is a place for those who appreciate a award winning cup of bright tasting coffee in a slow-bar environment. The friendly service, expertly crafted coffee in a lay back antique store leaves a unique classy impression in my mind.

Absolutely one of the best places to drinking coffee in Canada and probably the world. Amazing attention to detail with his super unique coffee, whilst blending amazing customer service and a truly unique venue.

Beside its perfect authentic coffee, you can learn a lot about coffee from barrista. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about the origin of coffee beans. Instead of naming the coffees in Italian style, he uses the Australian style and he cares so much about the traceability of coffee that he has even named one of the drips after the owner of the coffee farm.

Perfectly created coffee with all the intricate details acknowledged and accounted for. If you see coffee as a science with exact measurements and time, in order to maximize the taste, this is the place you should visit, if you want a favorable coffee and don't want to worry about all that, you should come too! Geared for an adventure for excellences, Aubade offers a close and intimate caffeinated journey that's as memorizing as the steps taken to make it in front of you. Amazing experience. We had one drip coffee and one cappuccino. The drip came with a detailed explanation of the 3 phase air press brewing process, which produced a subtle and complex mix of light sweet flavors with deeper undertones. Highly recommended.

A little gem in Vancouver that offer Geisha coffee. The price of the coffee is … let’s just say intimidating. But, it’s a amazing cup. It has a really great blueberry and peachy aftertaste. It’s so smooth as if I’m drinking wine. One of the best, Aubade coffee shop
