This B&B is a little piece of heaven – lovely, charming and peaceful. Louise and Marc couldn't be more gracious and helpful. And the breakfasts! I am not a breakfast or even a morning person, but the beautiful and delicious breakfasts convinced me to be both. I loved everything about staying here.

We cannot say enough good things about Auberge / B & B Dans Les Bras de Morphee. This is the most incredible place to stay on Ile d'Orleans and deserves a much higher rating than 5 stars.|Marc and Louise are exceptional hosts and even better people. they are charming, warm and a lovely couple. The property is spectacular, well maintained and super clean - A little slice of heaven. The accommodations are second to none. The gourmet breakfasts were amazing. The presentation and attention to detail were not lost on us (Well done).|Our hosts were very helpful in sharing ideas of places to go and things to see (Thank you Louise for suggesting the black currant/vanilla ice cream at Mona Cassis & Feilles).|The worst thing about this establishment is having to leave. There is absolutely NO DOUBT that we will be returning to this awesome B & B.||Kitty/Denny

Just returned from a 2 nights stay at this fabulous B&B. Only 2 words to our host Louise & Marc, thank you for your hospitality and your great breakfast. This is one of the best Breakfast we have had, Mark the chef is awesome, from home made maple sirop to his own honey and all the other great stuff. The house and the ground’s are just wonderful. But just for your information, you don’t come here with partying in mind after 8pm no more noise and 2 couples talking in the great living room is considered a party loll. So everyone retreat to their room, and don’t forget theirs NO tv nowhere in the house so load up the tables and retreat in your room. But honestly the wake up in the morning with the great smell and the great breakfast is worth it all. Thank you again Louise and Mark we are certain to be back in the future.

Louise and Marc are your hosts at this beautiful, spacious bed and breakfast located across the river from Quebec City. We spent four relaxing nights here and enjoyed comfortable accommodations, restful nights, and five star breakfasts each and every morning. The breakfasts were the most memorable of any we've had throughout our travels. Morning fine dining included starters, a starter, a main and a dessert. Everything was exquisitely prepared and presented - morning works of art. Treat yourself to this lovely getaway. You will not regret it.

We had a wonderful stay. Marc and Louise were terrific hosts. Their home is beautifully built and furnished and the gardens were full of lovely flowers. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. One of our most favourite B&Bs ever.

Normally I do not do repeat reviews, but it has been three years since we stayed at Dans les bras de Morphee due to COVID restrictions. We have sorely missed this place. Now that the border between the US and Canada is easier to cross we decided to return. Marc and Louise are most gracious hosts. They are a fantastic resource for places to eat and things to do on and off the island. They are also continually improving the property. Since our last visit they have added a building near the river. It is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the scenic area. Marc prepares the most wonderful three course breakfasts using ingredients from his garden and the local area. The meals are presented with style. Breakfast is a delight. The rooms are well appointed. It is a quiet relaxing place to be with someone you love. It was nice to see they have not missed a step in spite of challenges of COVID. We are happy to resume our annual visits.

Yelp
An absolutely incredible B&B !! My second visit to this beautiful island just east of Quebec City. The owners are very friendly and the inside of this B&B is beautifully appointed. The breakfast is a culinary delight each and every morning. Marc and Louise have built this B&B into the premiere establishment on the island.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to spend our honeymoon in October. My wife found some bed and breakfast on www.quebecregion.com and compared photos of the accommodations. This one stood out as the best of them all. After reading all the positive reviews, we chose Dans les bras de Morphee. If you want a fabulous experience of the quiet countryside, then this is the place. We chose the "honeymoon room" and it was very clean and comfortable. And we totally agree with another reviewer that the breakfast is "out of this world". The place is owned and operated by two very sweet couple Marc and Louise. Marc has told us that he has had training as a chef. That explains why the breakfast was so good. We wish he also served dinner. He has his own bee-hives which he uses to make his special lavender honey and which they gave us a jar of. We didn't get to see most of his other farm animals because they had been taken somewhere else for the winter, but we got to see the quails that were still there. While we were on the island, we were looking for places to eat for dinner and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. We're definitely coming back here for one of our anniversaries.
