Auberge Burgundy

We have stayed at Auberge several times and it never disappoints. The rooms are wonderful, the hotel is lovely (on cold nights we especially like to sip the complimentary Sherry by the fireplace), and the staff is amazing. Breakfasts are also excellent, and the hotel is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I think we have stayed in all of their buildings and they are all very nice.

Not only were we extremely lucky with the weather, but with finding this gem of a hotel as well. The staff were all very respectful, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and activities for us to do. The room was also clean, modern and very comfortable. We will definitely be visiting again!

Our family of 4 stayed at Auberge in April and absolutely loved it. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we ever had with a small buffet of fruits/ yoghurts/ juices etc + an amazing a la carte offering. The food and drinks around the pool was also great. The location was perfect right in the heart of Hermanus. We stayed in the Penthouse suite 2 which was very spacious, fantastic sea views and extremely comfortable beds. We couldn't recommend Auberge Burgundy high enough!

A wonderful hidden away gem. Quaint and comfortable ideally located a stones throw from Gearys Point. Breakfast was next door in Frances cafe with a generous breakfast served. Staff were very attentive to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to Connor for looking after us

Had the pleasure of having breakfast at this lovely venue. What a spoil! The hot breakfast with exotic mushrooms is a must! It's so wonderfully set with the ocean and the best of Hermanus only a minutes walk away. It is a favourite amongst locals so make sure you book.

Fantastic location of this boutique hotel. Very friendly staff, Connor was very helpful and we could leave our car and luggage there as we arrived early. |Breakfast next door was amazing. |The room was nice and tastefully decorated. A comfortable bed with many pillows perfect for me but on the shorter side for my husband who is quite tall.

His knowledge, professionalism, and thoughtful attention to our comfort truly made a lasting impression.||||The hotel itself is set in a perfect location, with exquisite views from the rooms — the kind of views you never tire of. The on-site restaurant is cozy and inviting, making it the ideal spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast while taking in the breathtaking view of the sea.||||I would absolutely recommend Auberge Burgundy to anyone visiting the area, and I will most certainly be booking it for my clients.||||Warm, charming, and beautifully situated — this hotel is a gem.

The Auberge Burgundy Hotel in Hermanus is a stunning seaside retreat, perfectly situated on the shore with breathtaking views of the mountains and bay. The hotel offers a wide selection of fantastic restaurants nearby, and the breakfast served at the hotel is truly a highlight. The rooms are tastefully designed, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. What truly sets the Auberge Burgundy apart, however, is the exceptional hospitality. From Connor’s warm welcome during the day to Jason’s caring presence at night, making guests feel safe and well taken care of, the staff’s dedication shines through. Jason, in particular, is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always goes above and beyond. It’s safe to say that after such a memorable experience, I am already looking forward to my third visit. Thank you for making this one of my favorite stays!
