The Staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms and the garden were nice and had all you needed.The Food wasn’t anything special but if it‘s not by your liking there are enough restaurant close by in the village. The only thing which was a bit disappointing was that on the website they wrote it’s a few minutes away from the lake, it was a bit longer than few minutes😅

Just been there this weekend with my teenage girls that had a competition happening in Avenches. Upon arrival we were welcomed with such good and warm energy. The next morning we had to leave really early, before breakfast was served, and we were kindly offered to have a very early breakfast prepared for us. It was such a good surprise, lovely place. Clean, well organized. Would definitely stay there again and recommend Thank you so much Kelly Kury

I had a very bad experience with them since I was in Germany by mistake I booked in this hotel then I called them and explained everything to them to refund me they didn’t expect I will never recommend them to anyone anymore Shame on you I was almost running out money 😡😡😡😡😡🥶

Romms are very clean and neat good beds but its very hot and no air conditioning. Service is good but there weren’t enough towels so thats why one star of. Location is okay but not a lot of people live herebut else its beautiful.

(With school) I love the hostel it's so nice but the rooms were poorly designed. I was in room 101 with my friends, and we kept stubbing our toes or getting bruises. If the double bed was a bunk bed, it would have solved the problems. The location is so difficult. My legs hurt after walking up and down all the time.

The wifi does not work. The beds are too small and the windows were not able to fully close. The food was bad and they charged 3 francs for tea and coffee that we didnt even ask for. They were late to serving dinner. The price was too high and we had to make our own beds. There was no heating in our room. The salad buffet was fine and the garden was okay. The shower drainage system did not work very well.

Very nice youth hostel in a historic building, situated in the truly beautiful and also very historic town of Avanches. It offers a lovely garden to relax and have your meals. There's also a playground if you have kids with you. The breakfast buffet offers everything you can ask for. The dinner dishes are simple, but always yummy. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hostel offers simple rooms as it is usual for hostels. The beds are comfy (for hostel standards of course) and each one has a socket and a reading lamp. There are also spacious safes for every bed. The bathrooms are very modern and clean, but don't offer to much space. Cleanliness wasn't exceptional, but more than ok. All in all, I'd totally stay here again and recommend it to everyone who's looking for a fair priced and simple accommodation.

We stayed at the Pavillon, next to the main building. So it was awesome and with privacy. Price is near to a hotel's double bedroom, but it was worthy. Only for vegan food it was a bit difficult. No options at breakfast, but dinner was well arranged.
