Auberge de la Madone

A quick hop, skip & a jump from Nice!! We have been before and each time was excellent in every way!! It’s such a unique location and very comfortable in September. The wait staff are very kind and helpful and the food was amazing, presented lovely with great flavors! I recommend ordering the 4 or 5 course menu. Enjoy!!

We had a fabulous lunch here 10 years ago, and this time was even better. Peillon is a quiet, magical hill top village (no boutiques, very few tourists), possibly the most relaxing place I’ve ever been. The food and service were absolutely first class. Andrea, our server, was attentive and charming. We loved it.

Presentation fantastic. The wine (biological from Correnes) was well balanced and matched perfectly with the food. Everything was perfect. The food tasted so fresh. The bread was to die for. I could have eaten the whole basket full. The service was exemplorary. Margaret

We staid here for 2 nights with our dog and loved it. The hotel is full of Charme, the location is breathtaking and the staff is absolutely lovely! The check-in, was very simple, the room spacious enough for our stay and we enjoyed the balcony and the view! The restaurant is very beautiful and the menu looks great but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to try it because we were both evenings away. We will for sure give it a try during our next visit. The only thing that didn’t meet my expectations was the bath, ist was big but no window and the airing system is way to weak, so when showering everything gets wet cause of the steam… you’ll need to shower with the door open (at least in the room we had). Still, the house is old, you can’t have everything perfect in an old and charming place like this and that’s why I’m still giving 5/5!

We are here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and we really enjoy the experience! We are served at the beautiful terrace next to a big olive tree and facing the amazing view of the village of Peillon! Food and wine is delicious and the service is excellent! The food was delicious, looked great, amd the wait staff was on point. Our waitress Andrea was delightful. The 4 course meal was a perfect amount of food for me as someone that doesn't usually (but can) eat giant meals.

Everything was incredible! Delicious unique food, hidden and tucked away next to the castle. The manager was extremely accommodating, and staff was very attentive. The calamari and jamon dishes were some of the best I have tried in Europe!
