A quick hop, skip & a jump from Nice!! We have been before and each time was excellent in every way!! It’s such a unique location and very comfortable in September. The wait staff are very kind and helpful and the food was amazing, presented lovely with great flavors! I recommend ordering the 4 or 5 course menu. Enjoy!!

We had a fabulous lunch here 10 years ago, and this time was even better. Peillon is a quiet, magical hill top village (no boutiques, very few tourists), possibly the most relaxing place I’ve ever been. The food and service were absolutely first class. Andrea, our server, was attentive and charming. We loved it.

We are here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and we really enjoy the experience! We are served at the beautiful terrace next to a big olive tree and facing the amazing view of the village of Peillon! Food and wine is delicious and the service is excellent! Special thanks to David for his professionalism and smile ! :)

A prime example of french hospitality at its best. We were warmly welcomed in the hidden gem that is Peillon and had a wonderful stay. Our gastronomic dinner was a pleasure with authentic flavours. We will definitely recommend the Auberge for anyone planning on staying in the region of Nice and looking for a quiet time.

Everything was incredible! Delicious unique food, hidden and tucked away next to the castle. The manager was extremely accommodating, and staff was very attentive. The calamari and jamon dishes were some of the best I have tried in Europe!

The food was delicious, looked great, amd the wait staff was on point. Our waitress Andrea was delightful. The 4 course meal was a perfect amount of food for me as someone that doesn't usually (but can) eat giant meals.

We had a fantastic lunch, dinner and overnight stay at l'Auberge de la Madone for my mum's 80th birthday. The staff were really kind and attentive and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for a memorable event. Thank you

There is a fine line between rustic and tired and we definitely felt the hotel was tired, especially viewing the photos from the past on their website, when it was in its glory. The access from the hotel car park to the hotel needs attention, looking very run down. We felt everything had gone into the food and the hotel was being left to care for itself. The food was very good, however with the bistro menu you have to accept there is no choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
