Auberge des Gorges du Loup

Stopped by for lunch and were absolutly happy with the food, drinks and especially the service. The waiter was very friendly, engaged and funny and additional spoke good English. The terrace/ambient was really nice - many trees and plants.

Dinner at the hotel restaurant. The outdoor dining area is divine, the view and the setting are special. It started to rain lightly during dinner but no one bothered to ask us if that was okay. While the interior spaces are a little dated: ok, it's a charming building from the 40s and 50s but it could use a bit of a makeover? The service is overall positive but it depends on which waiter serves you: we had specified no raw vegetables and in our case the waiter didn't really listen: in addition to the well-cooked dish there was a large side salad (!). The dishes are well executed and good.. a little over-seasoned. The price is in line with other restaurants in the area.

We were enroute to Vence, using the bus from Grasse - what a lovely trip. We stopped off at this hotel for an overnight stay and what a gem we found. Jean Pierre made us feel very welcome. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms more than adequate for us, with great views of the Gorges. I can also recommend the pub next door - although not linked to the hotel, we did enjoy a number of local beers sitting under the orange trees - with the sun shining! The restaurant and meal was very good. We had the set menu of 43 Euros, which was very good value and very good quality. It was such a positive experience that after we walked to the waterfalls on Sunday morning, we had our Sunday lunch there, sitting outside on the terrace. If you are heading this way, I can recommend this hotel - or even just the restaurant if you are not staying. Overall our trip was very good value.

Wonderful Auberge, excellently located. The staff are helpful and breakfast was very good. The bedroom was very cleverly designed given the age of the property. Parking overnight was easy at the Mairie just a short walk away.

Top place. Really nice experience yesterday evening. Never easy with us ... 3 vegans, 1 vegan and celiac! The owner went back to Nice to get enough ingredients for our supper. wonderful old house in beautiful area. charming interior. very good french cuisine - friendly people! small, but very clean room. great view out of the front facing windows over the Rockwall on the other side of the valley. I enjoyed my stay very much!

We arrived last Friday much earlier than the agreed check in for a weekends motorcycling, we were given our room keys by the owner, a very nice gentleman who spoke extremely good English. We were also give secure parking for the bikes. The rooms were great and very clean, the Hotel was lovely and in a perfect location for our trip. Definitely be back. Many thanks Simon 🇬🇧

First of all, the staff were all very polite and friendly, i applaud them for that. However, I did not take any pictures of the roomsl and dinner as I did not enjoy my stay. For dinner, we had undercut steak and lamb shank. For myself, i did not enjoy the lamb shank at all, it was very very very very dry, i barely eaten any bites and i left still hungry.. wouldn't recommend. The room is very basic, with super soft mattress that sinks in when laid on, which is quite uncomfortable.
