Cosy, chalet style hotel in quiet town centre location. Adjacent to Skimium ski hire shop. Spa supermarket 3 mins walk away. Two minutes walk to bus stops to all ski locations. Superb breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely return

We loved this boutique hotel, which oozes charm, & has a rustic Alpine Lodge vibe. |Located a short stroll into the picturesque town of Chamonix, set in gorgeous grounds full of beautiful 'flora & fauna', & cuddled by the Mountains which are viewed from every angle at this cute small hotel.|Rooms vary, & our room was spacious, with a super balcony looking onto the mountains. A comforting wooden interior, with lovely fabrics & a good comfortable bed. |Staff are welcoming, friendly & very helpful, & helped providing us with good suggestions for the local area. We also received a complementary Bottle of Fizz & Chocolates in our room, upon arrival as a gift for my birthday & our anniversary celebrations.|The hotel offers a spa area, consisting of an outdoor Hot Tub, & Sauna, which sadly we did not have time to use, but it was a nice touch. |The continental breakfast was good, fresh & set us up for the day of exploring.

It was not terrible it not was bad, but It was not good eater. I had high expectation for this hotel, but it really let me down. There was no fridge or minibar, but the was two safeties. The bed was two single next to each other, without proper mattress topper. In the morning there was gap in the middle and I had sore back. The room where like timetravelin to 90s.

Great central location and the hotel itself is very rustic and cute. However, certain things were lacking compared to other 3 star hotels I've visited in Chamonix. ||Easy check in and we were able to store our luggage until our room was ready. Staff at check in and on reception very friendly and welcoming.||Room itself very spacious (we had 2 x junior suite) with balcony and great views of Mont Blanc. |Bed and bedding very comfortable. However room/bathroom was not well maintained/attended/serviced. We requested daily service by turning the door sign to green and asking at reception before we left for the day. The first day neither room was serviced. Toilet roll ran out on day 2 and we had to ask for more which was then not put into the toilet roll holder until our last day (we stayed 6 nights). Shower gel ran out and we had to ask for that to be replenished. Bulbs were out in the bathroom vanity mirror. Shower curtain yellow at bottom and smelly. Bedroom and bathroom floors were dusty and not swept or vacuum at all during our stay. Smoke alarm (or whatever style of alarm was supposed to be in the room) was missing. The only thing we noticed the room attendant do during each visit was make the bed and empty the bins. No vacuuming or sweeping, rinsing of shower, replenishing of loo roll etc.||Perhaps it was due to it being end of the summer season and just running a skeleton staff but only one member of staff was on duty at any one time. Breakfast was chaotic with things running out, juice and coffee machine regularly running low and the only staff member (who was VERY helpful) was rushed off their feet trying to replenish. Breakfast was also disappointing in terms of items offered compared to other 3 star hotels in Chamonix I've used and did not include any hot option except boiled eggs (no scrambled egg, no porridge etc). Just bread, jams, cheeses, cold meats etc.||For the money (close to €250 per room per night), I expected better servicing of the room and a better breakfast selection.||All in all an ok stay but I won't be rushing back.

Could not have a better view from a hotel room. Spacious room with a well-appointed bath, comfortable bed. Balcony view simply cannot be beat. Only note is that the rooms are quite warm. Did not get hotel breakfast but it smelled good.

The first thing I noticed in the room, was that someone had smoked there. The piping also stinked. All that smell was tried to cover with very strong masculine mens cologne. So it stinked like middle eastern whorehouse the whole first night (excuse my language). After first night I got used to it.||||Two times the housekeeping kept knockin the door at 11 am although the do not disturb sign was on the door. The cleaning was ok, but coffee cups and sink where dirty .||||There was no fridge or minibar, but the was two safeties. The bed was two single next to each other, without proper mattress topper. In the morning there was gap in the middle and I had sore back. The room where like timetravelin to 90s. ||||I had high expectation for this hotel, but it really let me down. ||||The breakfast was ok. And the staff where polite, when they where around.

I stayed at this hotel before and after walking the TMB. I found the rooms to be comfortable and spacious, the breakfast to be delicious, and the staff to be friendly and helpful. The location was great - a 5 minute walk to the center of town, and a similar walk to the train station.

We were excited to use the hot tub during our stay, only to be informed at check-in that it was not working. We could have looked past this, but when I went to take a shower there was no hot water. We chose to move hotels and 2 weeks later we still have not received a refund for our stay.

Yelp
Oh man, did I ever luck out staying at this place while in the Alps walking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Chamonix was really hopping at the time due to a running race that was finishing that day, but the Auberge is in a quieter part of town so we had a very restful stay. Rooms are small but very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Staff is friendly, attentive, and not intrusive. I stayed at several similar hotels while walking the Tour and both me and my traveling companion agreed this hotel had the best breakfast buffet. Excellent selection and beautiful presentation. I can't think of a thing they could do better.

Yelp
I have been meaning to write a review for months but life got in the way but this is perhaps my favorite auberge I have ever stayed at with 2 of my 3 children and husband. The owners work from sunup until sundown and it shows. The rooms were immaculate and cozy as well as the common spaces. you just had that feeling that it is cleaner than your own home at least mine in Chicago. . The couple and employee who run it went above and beyond to make the stay spectacular. They answered the same questions over and over and never were impatient with us. My husband speaks rudimentary French yet their English is much better than our French. We stated in a family room with a bunk bed and two single beds for the parents pushed together. We slept under thick clean down comforter s which kept us warm at night and because it was so comfortable, we slept in so late that we almost missed breakfast. The breakfasts were out of this world. Ww had homemade yoghurt, fruits, muesli, eggs.local cheeses and breads and the list goes on. We were satiated until dinner so its actually worth the price. They have the sweetest dog and two cats that my children fell in love with. It was also such an easy stay because the bus to the different mountains are literally across the street. Also, ask for their recommendation for good dinner places. and because of them We had not one bad meal in Chaminoix. The last night we ate at an Italian restaurant housed in a 700 year old farmhouse. It was out of this world....We plan on returning sone day, hopefully sooner rather than later!
