A smaller accommodation just next to the Chamonix city centre, yet very peaceful for a relaxing stay. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful, and I really liked the idea of flag pins on their uniforms so you immediately know which language you can use. Parking is private and right at the hotel, Wi-Fi is reliable, and check-in was smooth. Breakfast variety could be a bit wider, but the quality was good. I stayed in a room with a balcony and mountain view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which is a big plus.

The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from the city center (towards the south), in a peaceful area surrounded by mountains. It has a beautiful, authentic mountain chalet vibe — the wooden interiors give a cozy and warm feeling, very much like a traditional Swiss-style home. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with stunning views of the mountains right from the windows. The breakfast was good, though not extraordinary, but still satisfying to start the day. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, they also spoke English, which made communication easy. Overall, it’s a lovely and quiet place to stay in Chamonix, perfect if you want a relaxing atmosphere with great mountain views. Definitely good value for the price!

What an amazing stay for our first trip to Chamonix. We had the 3 bed room which was perfect for us. Everything was spot on. Location of hotel is exceptional and so easy to get everywhere. Finally, Enrique on reception was excellent. So helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, really made the visit extra special. Would definitely look to book again

Perfect cozy hotel. Especially liked the attention to detail and the style of it. So many beautiful pieces of decor, placed everywhere with love. Something nostalgic felt about this place, some pieces of furniture may seem a bit old-fashioned (90s-2000s style), but it's used in a good way and it's definitely looked after, not shabby at all!!! Everything is clean. Moreover, the receptionist Franck was super nice and helpful, it's been a while seen I have seen someone from hotel staff who likes their work that much! He definitely deserves a raise 😁 The breakfast was great too! There was lots of different fruit, pastry, cheese and meat for sandwiches, variety of drinks as well. Overall our stay there was wonderful!

Perfect place. We loved the traditional feel, the view from our room of the mountains, super comfy bed, very clean, nice balcony, and amazing breakfast and they stored our luggage while we hiked. Also the staff were the friendliest and most helpful we have met on our trip. We messaged on the booking.com app about whether they could help us get a package stuck at Lyon airport customs as we can’t speak French. They went above and beyond to help us sort this out. Truly impressive!!

I had an amazing stay at Auberge du Manoir in Chamonix! The staff were exceptional — warm, friendly, and always willing to help. My room was excellent, with a great shower and a very comfortable bed. There’s no AC or fan, so during the summer heat wave it was definitely warm at night, but that’s more a product of the weather than the hotel. The charming alpine feel of the property more than made up for it! Breakfast was a highlight — a delicious Alps-style buffet with plenty of options to start the day right. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chamonix.

My friend & I stayed one night B&B in a Superior Room with Balcony & Mountain View. |Location - the hotel is a 5-10 mins. flat walk from the main train station, slightly set back from a busy road. |We had a corner room so in fact had a double balcony & dual aspect view to the Aiguille du Midi. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds & a nice shower room with window. A couple of criticisms … the sink is too high & hand gel was provided only in the shower. |Breakfast - plenty of choice, but the buffet area did get a bit crowded. I was disappointed that there were 2 dogs in the dining room … on hygiene & health grounds I feel very strongly that this should not be permitted.

The only reason Im giving 4/5 stars is because you have to pay 25€ for 45 min of Jacuzzi 🫠🫠🫠 From all the pictures I really thought it was included, but it is not. Breakfast was lovely with local produce. They also sometimes have free croissants and pain au chocolats at the reception to grab :) Localisation is perfect, only a few minutes to get to the centre.

Yelp
Oh man, did I ever luck out staying at this place while in the Alps walking the Tour du Mont Blanc. Chamonix was really hopping at the time due to a running race that was finishing that day, but the Auberge is in a quieter part of town so we had a very restful stay. Rooms are small but very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Staff is friendly, attentive, and not intrusive. I stayed at several similar hotels while walking the Tour and both me and my traveling companion agreed this hotel had the best breakfast buffet. Excellent selection and beautiful presentation. I can't think of a thing they could do better.

Yelp
I have been meaning to write a review for months but life got in the way but this is perhaps my favorite auberge I have ever stayed at with 2 of my 3 children and husband. The owners work from sunup until sundown and it shows. The rooms were immaculate and cozy as well as the common spaces. you just had that feeling that it is cleaner than your own home at least mine in Chicago. . The couple and employee who run it went above and beyond to make the stay spectacular. They answered the same questions over and over and never were impatient with us. My husband speaks rudimentary French yet their English is much better than our French. We stated in a family room with a bunk bed and two single beds for the parents pushed together. We slept under thick clean down comforter s which kept us warm at night and because it was so comfortable, we slept in so late that we almost missed breakfast. The breakfasts were out of this world. Ww had homemade yoghurt, fruits, muesli, eggs.local cheeses and breads and the list goes on. We were satiated until dinner so its actually worth the price. They have the sweetest dog and two cats that my children fell in love with. It was also such an easy stay because the bus to the different mountains are literally across the street. Also, ask for their recommendation for good dinner places. and because of them We had not one bad meal in Chaminoix. The last night we ate at an Italian restaurant housed in a 700 year old farmhouse. It was out of this world....We plan on returning sone day, hopefully sooner rather than later!
