Auberge du Point Sublime Gorges du Verdon

A bit pricey for what it is but you are paying for location next to Point Sublime. Very convenient for Aqua Trekking in the Samson Corridor 2 minutes away. The room was large and easy for self check-in. And the staff was friendly for check out in the morning and had drinks for sale to take hiking. There was no AC but I was cool with the fan provided in the room.

We are staying at the hotel and just ate a delicious meal in the restaurant. The spot and the drive up from Provence are both incredibly beautiful. The family team running the hotel are multi-generation owners and live on site, they were extremely kind and helpful coordinating our taxi for us (for tomorrow’s hike, which will end right at the hotel) and offering a picnic for our walk. The room is spotless. Food was homemade and served fast with local products across the whole menu - we hope to come back!

I stayed at the hotel as I was rafting in the canyon and needed a place that was close by... I would recommend this place if you plan to visit the canyon and need a place to stay that is in the middle of the canyon. However not that the hotel is in the middle of the canyon, amazing location, but nothing else around.. i assumed I would drive for dinner to closest town about 30 min but quickly decided that was not an option when I saw how treacherous the roads are to drive at night. If you stay here plan to have dinner at the hotel.. the dinner was actually very decent... The room was very sparse and basic but it had everything I needed... Parking is included.. the hotel is 5 min away walking from an amazing canyon viewing spot.. overall great location in a remote area with surprisingly decent food.

Stopped in at the restaurant for a late lunch. Quiet and quaint on a rainy weekday afternoon. Staff were nice. Food was delicious. I got extra wine as the bottle was almost empty when i ordered so i was thrilled.

Very friendly and informal atmosphere, offering very good value for money in this special location. The rooms are basic, but the location is fantastic and the reception, bar and service outstanding. Would be happy to return for a longer stay

Lovely service, meal was delicious, food is a bit pricey but it’s good so worth. Waitress gave me loads of free plasters as had fallen off my bike, really friendly.

We dropped in for lunch after our trek- it was a fantastic experience. The food was amazing - we tried the local salads, lamb and omelette. The views were great. Quick service, friendly staff. Good choices on the menu highly recommended

Spent 3 nights here whilst walking in the Verdon Gorge. Basic but comfortable room with ensuite shower and toilet. Whilst there were no vegan options on the menu, the manager arranged vegan meals in the restaurant and provided vegan picnics for our days walking. We were very impressed.
