"Flora Mikula, one of France’s rare female top chefs, has given up her gastronomic restaurant Les Saveurs de Flora to open her dream Paris place, a small urban auberge in the 11th arrondissement where travelers can mingle with les citoyens over delicious, affordable French-Mediterranean food. In the hotel, Paris designer Sebastien d’Evry uses vividpatterns and rich colors as a backdrop to rooms with street views. The rooms showcase vintage phones and objects from Mikula’s travels in Morocco and India. Individually decorated, they are categorized as Bohemian, Gardener, and Nature—themes inspired by the chef’s eclectic passions."

Here's How Solo Female Travel Changed My Life

"There is a golden retriever sitting next to me, wagging his tail, at a restaurant called Auberge Flora in Paris's 11th arrondissement. He's eyeing my foie gras, but I'm pretty sure, despite being French, dogs do not eat foie gras." - Travel + Leisure Editors

La Finca is a fine, small hotel away from downtown Paris. Not isolated, we were easily able to walk to any number of boulangerie, restaurants, grocery and bars. Metro and Bus were nearby making all of Paris readily accessible. |The staff were quite accommodating. Our room was large for a quirky, boutique hotel. King bed, sofa, Neapresso. Quite clean and well kept. There IS, indeed, a bubbly hot tub / spa, as well as a sauna - making this a shockingly well appointed property.

Great hotel to stay at! The AC was not especially strong so it was hard to cool the room down during an exceptionally hot day. But I don’t blame them, this summer was extremely hot. Overall a great location, solid service, staff are friendly.

good stay, room was clean although i found a dirty sock under the bed! had all the amenities, friendly staff especially at breakfast.steam room and jacuzzi were a great add-on (open from 6am-2am!) although could be better maintained. Jacuzzi could be hotter

Beautiful and youthful spirited lodging experience! The spa would appreciate a few added spices such as lotion, better wall background where the spa pool was, and reservations for privacy.

Great location, really friendly staff, but the room was pretty tiny, and when we raised problems, they didn't manage to fix them - for example, the safe in our room didn't work. The spa consists of a hot tub and a steam room and were well-used by guests. However, you need to ask for the steam room to be turned on, and it varies quite drastically from cold to extremely hot! One of us went down to use the hot tub one evening and found that the dosing of chlorine was so high it was making it hard to breathe; use with caution!

Tiny but lovely room. Super clean and with all essentials. Nice toiletries, coffee machine, tea bags. Very helpful and friendly service. Great food and choice of wine at the Cactus restaurant.

Nice hotel, problems with odor in the room and safe lock did not work. Reportes both to front desk and no one fixed anything. Lack of a support or holder to use the shower head as a real "shower", as it could only be held by hand.

A Hidden Gem in Paris – La Finca Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at La Finca Hotel during my recent business trip to Paris, and it was truly a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. A big thank you to Vasil, Astrée, Mathieu, and Nazari – their professionalism, friendliness, and warm hospitality really made a difference during my stay. They were always ready to help with a smile and made me feel at home. The hotel itself is a little boutique gem, full of charm and character. It’s located in one of the most popular areas of Paris, with the metro station just a short walk away, making it super convenient to get around the city. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby — all within walking distance. If you're looking for a hotel with great value for money, La Finca is a fantastic choice. It’s ideal for both business and leisure travelers looking for a comfortable, stylish, and budget-friendly stay in Paris. I truly enjoyed my time here, and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I did! 💙 Highly recommended!

Yelp
A colleague of mine dragged us across town for dinner after a conference yesterday, he was raving about the place. On arrival I thought this would be a typical Franch brasserie, cozily decorated with friendly waiters. It turned out to be a tapas place, which I'm not a big fan of. They have set menus as well as a la carte. The set menus are prepared for the whole table and in our case contained a variety of dishes including meat, fish and asparagus. There was one main course in the menu, and we had the choice between duck breast of fish. But boy this was good food, very interesting creations (chocolate samosas, deep fried asparagus etc.) and loads of it as well. Accompanied by nice wines, this was one of the best meals I had in Paris. Absolutely recommend this to everyone. The bill came to an acceptable 230 Euros, for 4 that is including 2 bottles of wine.

Yelp
Rus and I had our NYE dinner here after walking by a few times and seeing the place packed night after night. We made reservations for 8pm for their prix fixe menu (a special menu for NYE, about €68 pp). When we arrived, we were greeted and quickly seated to a table decorated perfectly for the holiday: with party hats and horns! We got some wine and the amuse bouches was served very quickly after that: one crostini with a salmon spread and caviar, and some other type of delightful savory pastry. The came the huge TOWER of appetizers! The chef herself, Flora Mikula, came out to greet us and explain each item on the tower. There were oysters, shrimp, an egg appetizer, pumpkin soup, foie gras and so much more! Everything was extremely delicious, and I couldn't believe that there was so much of it. After the tower of amazing apps, we were served scallops over risotto. The scallops were perfectly cooked and the risotto was creamy, light and not over-seasoned. The main course was also delicious and by the time it came around, I could barely stomach half of it! I was so full! Dessert was a series of sweet appetizers: a little chocolate cake, mango ice with fruit salad and two mousse-like apps. All delicious. We loved the place and atmosphere so much, that we loittered drinking more wine and coffee until midnight, when the place erupted into cheers and music. Auberge Flora offers an intimate dining experience, with satisfying food & amazing personality. The service is spot on and I can't wait to visit again on my next trip to Paris!

Yelp
After a lot of research I decided on Auberge Flora and wasn't disappointed! Excellent location just blocks from Bastille metro and another even closer. We arrived super early on a Sunday morning and our room wasn't available yet but they said we could check in at 1pm so we checked our luggage and walked down the street to find an amazing street market going on! Apparently it is just 2 blocks down and every Thurs & Sun. Everything you could want for a picnic too....cheese stalls, cooked food, breads, flowers and clothing and crafts...it was fabulous. When we went back we sat outside at the bistro downstairs and had a couple glasses of wine before getting in to our room. Spotless clean! Decent sized room for Europe but was disappointed that our "king bed" was actually the size of an American Queen size or even double...definitely not a king. We had a king in Belgium and it was definitely a King so we felt the advertising of a king was misleading. That was the Deluxe Double Suite w/King Bed. The bed was comfortable, only 4 or 5 hangers for 2 people and no dresser/bureau, safe worked great, bathroom shower was great and spacious with a rainfall showerhead and handheld, toiletries were wonderful but no conditioner, blow dryer not very strong but all in all a great bathroom. An expresso machine that says you get 2 free each per stay but no pods in room to use??? Loved that the windows opened over the street and very quiet at night. Blackout drapes worked great for first day nap. My biggest negative was that there were only 2 channels in English ... one being CNN and the other financial news. All employees were so friendly and I would recommend highly AND stay there again. Great value and pharmacies, grocery store and lots of restaurants all around. We did find the prices for restaurant downstairs a little high so only had coffee/croissants and wine while we were there but very handy.

Yelp
First of all, the hotel is lovely and very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the staff is very attentive and friendly. But the #1 reason to stay is the restaurant. We had an early (by French standards) dinner after checking in to our hotel room and ordered the filet de boeuf with a Parmesan macaroni. Wow. I thought I was in heaven. The meat was tender and so flavorful and the pasta, don't get me started. I took the left overs back to our room to eat once my stomach was less full. No need to leave the hotel for dinner, just go downstairs for the best meal of your life!

Yelp
I love the eclectic, quaint vibe this place has to offer. Each room is unique and each floor has a different theme. The staff are super friendly. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I prefer to stay here!!

Yelp
It was ok - but way too much "deep fried" items that took away from the experience. The guacamole variation was also poor. Quite expensive for what we got - very limited vegetarian options despite reviews around the Internet to the contrary. They seemed put out when I asked.
