Auberge Jeunesse QBEDS Hostel

I had a great stay at Qbeds! The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance, and it’s super easy to catch a bus if needed. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. I stayed in a private room, which was quiet and comfortable. It’s not very big, but just right for one person. The showers are a bit tight, but they work fine. I really liked the shared spaces, there’s a nice mix of modern design and old charm. Would definitely recommend!

Location is good. Can borrow hair dryer or blanket from the reception. Served simple breakfast from 7am -10am. Have a gym do workout. Kitchen to use and store food in fridge. Plenty washroom and showers. Staff is not very friendly in general.

I had a great stay at Qbeds! The front desk staff were super helpful, answering all my questions and giving me great tips on what to do in Quebec City. The rooms, washrooms, and all the facilities (laundry and social areas included) were very clean and everything worked perfectly, nothing broken or out of service. I also loved the grab-and-go breakfast, such a smart idea. Overall, friendly service, spotless facilities, good location, and a welcoming vibe, I’d definitely recommend Qbeds and stay again!

Great location. We were able to walk everywhere. We loved the staff and the hostel itself is clean and has incredible amenities. Probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. My kids <10 absolutely LOVED it.

Clean and comfortable! I enjoyed my stay here and the location was fantastic. While breakfast is prepackaged foods, I was happy with it - especially for the affordable cost of staying here.

Stayed 2 nights with my partner in a private room, which are on the top, 4th floor. The building is beautiful, well maintained and with a central location. Be aware that the room is tiiiny - 20cm to the side of the bed and roughly a meter to the door. It was not a problem for us, but having unpacked some things, it was quite crammed. Our disappointment was with the breakfast, which was the main reason we went for this place instead of others. I was expecting a buffet-style breakfast with a wide selection, same as I experienced in other hostels. Here, we got 2 hard-boiled eggs, a coffee capsule, a small cheddar bar and a cereal bar. There was not even any pastry to accompany that, so it felt lacking, especially compared to our expectations.

Excellent location, young people friendly, free breakfast in the morning. Nice staff and people. There is an awesome small “cinema” in the basement. Had a great time!

I CANNOT believe the awful service we've gotten here. I rarely leave bad reviews but I couldn't believe it... the staff is so rude!!! The "continental breakfast" is packaged boiled eggs, a granola bar, and a coffee that you have to make yourself and the girl who gives it to you practically throws it at you and makes you feel like you are bothering her. When we arrived, she was doing paperwork, didn't even say hi, we had to ask her for the pre packaged items and she told us to wait because she's busy. She was acting like she was doing us a favor throwing these granola bars on the counter 🙄 for 160$ night this is wild. You have to do everything yourself, wash your own dishes, take your own sheets off the bed, put your towel away, etc. othwrwise there is an extra outrageous fee. I am without words. WHAT A SCAM.
