My best experience in the desert. I’ve visited the desert twice with Mbarek. He’s a great host and such a kind person. You will love the experience—the tour, the bivouac, the music, and more. I highly recommend this tour!

This was an amazing experience in the southern part of Morocco, in the Sahara Desert. |Our knowledgeable guides put together a custom tour for 3 days and two nights for my son and I.|We were picked up by our driver in the town of Ourzazate and driven to the town of M’Hamid, where our guides were waiting with 2 camels, packed up with camping gear and provisions.|After a lavish meal we rode our camels out to the sand dunes, where we set up camp for the night. |We watched an amazing sunset over the dunes and sat around the campfire. Our guides cooked an amazing meal over the fire, including a big loaf of bread (they eat bread with every meal).|The rest of the evening included musical entertainment by our multi-talented guides. The clear night sky was adorned with myriads of stars, several planets and the Milky Way galaxy. Get the free app NIGHT SKY which will help identify stars and constellations. By the way, there is cell phone service everywhere.|The next morning we viewed the sunrise over the dunes and took some amazing photos, as our guides cooked breakfast over the campfire.|After packing up our camels, we continued our trek through the dunes to a rendezvous point where a 4 wheel drive was waiting to take us further into the desert.|The next destination was Lhabidia or La Grande Dune. This one of the biggest dune formations in southern Morocco.|We arrived at the camp consisting of individual cabins with comfortable beds, hot showers and full kitchen, with gourmet chef.|The afternoon was filled with climbing the dunes, sand boarding (like snow boarding on sand), spectacular views, photography and another amazing sunset.|The evening was topped off with a multi course, gourmet meal, and additional entertainment by our musician-guides.|Day 3 started with another amazing sunrise and gourmet breakfast.|After packing up, we drove through miles of wilderness to large rock formation containing fossils , estimated to be about 580 million year old. The fossils are plentiful and you can collect some.|Additional hours of driving got us back to our starting point , Ourzazate.|This was an amazing, action packed trip, skillfully executed by our experienced guides.|We highly recommend this company and looking forward to another trip in the future.||5 STARS RATING ALL AROUND! 👍

An authentic and peaceful experience right on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Host Mbarek is genuinely hospitable. The property itself is spacious, with plenty of open areas to relax in— comfortable tents and large terrace. The vibe is relaxed, natural, and feels authentically Moroccan, without the hustle and bustle of touristy spots. Located at the edge of M'Hamid Village, you get a stunning panoramic view of the Sahara Desert. The restaurant has traditional interiors with breathtaking views of the desert. The peacefulness of the place is a huge bonus, especially compared to the busier parts of town. It's quiet, away from the market noise and the construction in the center. You can take a walk or a short hike to the nearby sand dunes, surrounded by palm trees and the old village ruins. It’s a perfect spot for those looking for something more off-the-beaten-path, and less touristy. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, serene desert experience.

We stayed in Mhamid for one night, had an amazing dinner and breakfast and really enjoyed the terrace and out beautiful room. The next day we went on a tour to the desert with an overnight stay in the camp near Erg Chigega. It was truly a wonderful experience, Mbarek is a great host and explained about the desert and made us feel at home. We loved that we also got to enjoy the calm of the desert-camp and the schedule wasn‘t super stressful and tight :)

A nice stay and meal. Then a fantastic tour into the desert. 6 of us plus our bicycles on 2 jeeps. Oasis, sand dunes fun, camel ride, desert camp, fireside. Good food. Then drive to lake Iriki. We then cycled the rest of the way to Foum Zguid. Ibarek and his team were excellent. They done it all 1000s of times but still make you feel like a treasured group. Definitely recommend.

Mbarek was a great guide for a roll out in the desert. I was stopped on my motorcycle and he stopped to check on me. After some tea he took me out. Great experience

The trip and night in Sahara was phenomenal. We don't know about the rooms as we spent the night elsewhere, but the route, camel ride, camping at the dunes with all the attractions were great and everybody (small kids, teenagers and adults) enjoyed it a lot! and Erg Chegaga by sunset and sunrise...magic. Many thanks to our host, great cross-country driver, cook and musician all in one:)

Beautiful place but be warned that they expect you to book a tour with them! Breakfast wasn't exactly as advertised on booking.com as well.
