The auberge is located at the far end of the village, pretty much the last house on the left and very easy to recognise from the picture on their website. Last time I came, the sat-nav took me past the village and directed me into a swamp, but this time it was pretty much accurate so it may be worth making sure your maps are up to date particularly if arriving at night as it is quite easy to miss in the dark. The auberge is fairly modern, and in winter anyway, seems to cater to visiting Hydro-Quebec engineers and travellers stranded by delays to ferry crossings, apart from stray visitors like us. The rooms are simple and clean, and the facilities fairly basic. They serve a good hearty breakfast (extra), and are prepared to go out of their way to help (breakfast was served at 4am on my last visit for a man planning to drive all the way to Ottawa in a single day). Otherwise you are pretty much on your own. In winter there is a depanneur, but no restaurants open, so you have to bring your own food. We did, and had ourselves a picnic in the lounge area, aided by one of the brothers than run the place, and who provided a lot of interesting background on life in that part of the world. In summary, It is not cheap at $154 per night, but I would say it is a lot better than you would normally expect from such a small and remote place.
