Warm and welcoming. The restaurant was superb and our room was clean and comfortable with complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water. After a long day of fishing it was exactly what we needed. We will definitely be back when we’re in town again.

Found this gem on the Gaspe snowmobile map and decided to give it a try. We are very glad we did! Stayed in a cabin which is your basic housekeeping cabin. We were on snowmobiles and found the location easily. Very clean with all necessary amenities. The chef was off for the evening and the owner offered to cook our suppers while explaining her cooking skills were good but she was not a chef. We beg to differ! The choices were extensive and the food was very well presented and delicious. We would highly recommend this location and will definitely be back!

En route to Shigawake, Quebec, from Ontario, I decided I could not go further and needed to find a place to stay. Upon visiting a small tourist boutique in Causapscal, QC, the salesclerk led me to "Auberge de la Coulee Douce" and as soon I drove up the long driveway to the top of the hill and entered the front doors, I felt 'at home' in a beautifully manicured and well kept Victorian Manor overlooking the small town amongst beautiful sprawling trees. The lady at the desk was french, but spoke perfect English and led me to view two available rooms. I choose the one on the main level, and was pleasantly surprised to find a cozy room with all amenities from two wine glasses, flat screen television, soaps, shampoo and absolutely pristine hardwood floors - reminiscent of times gone by with a beautiful terrace which surrounded the front and side of this glorious house. Although I did not experience the cuisine from their restaurant that evening, I did order a small coffee and a fried egg on toast to go, which came to $9.50 the following morning and to which, I thought to be a little excessive. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend to anyone.

6 of us stayed here in early February while on a snowmobile trip around the Gaspe Peninsula. The Inn is spectacular; very warm and welcoming. the rooms are well appointed; all with their on bathroom and heating and air conditioning unit. There is a comfortable sitting area at which you can have drinks before or after dinner. the food was exceptional. Julie (the owner) and her crew do a terrific job. i would go out of my way to stay here again. fining it from the snowmobile trail is not too difficult. well marked off the trail for the most part.
