I stayed in the Auberge la Seigneurie for 4 nights during a business trip. ||The owner was friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit, and she seems to care that her guests have a great visit. She was always smiling and welcoming which was appreciated!||The rooms are quaint and rustic and very clean. Although you can hear noises from other rooms, guests are respectful and it is somewhat expected in a Bed and Breakfast- adds to the family experience... Beds were comfortable and the WIFI dependable. ||Finally, breakfasts were a treat. The website lists a continental breakfast as being included, but the selection of warm food which included eggs, beans, ham and tourtière was more than expected. Lots of choices and a caring staff.||I would recommend staying at the Auberge la Seigneurie. ||

After taking a ferry across the St. Lawrence River from Tadoussac we found ourselves in this Auberge. We had a very large and lovely room not too far into the town and close enough to drive a few blocks for dinner at a great pub-style restaurant. The owner was very charming and provided a lovely buffet breakfast with home-made goodies. One favourite was the crab apple jelly. She kindly gave us a jar when we departed. We would highly recommend a stay at this Auberge. It gave us a good sense of what was to come as we started on our long drive around the Gaspe.

Stayed here for 2 nights. We had 2 rooms (for 3 people) on the top floor. A bathroom outside to be shared (with another room too, I think) and a 2-piece toilet next room, so it's sufficient even shared by a few rooms. ,Both our rooms were very tastefully decorated, very spacious and very very clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was super delicious with lots of choices. We by accident broke a small window anchor in one room - it was fixed with a smile (while we were out), no question asked - great customer service!!!.

We stayed for one night on our way back to Quebec after a visit to Le Gaspesie. We had a lovely and large room with an excellent bed and nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast in the morning in the dining room with a very nice ambiance thanks to the very friendly and service minded staff. Well situated very close to the centre of Matane.

We spent just one night at Auberge la Seigneurie in Matane. It is a small, somewhat older place (no elevator!) lovingly furnished and with lots of atmosphere and charme. ||||It is a family-run hotel with very friendly hosts and a good - but set - breakfast. The location is good, as it is just off the main road but nevertheless quiet (with a garden that could need some tending to). ||||The room we had was extremely small and cramped - especially considering that it was quite expensive. The room might be ok for a single traveler - but, of course, at a lower price. ||||Value for money: poor, which is a shame as basically this could be a very nice and inviting place.

We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful Auberge - we were in "William" room, very large en suite bathroom, double bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers plus a table and chairs.||||The owner, Marie Eve was brilliant. She marched up the stairs with our big cases, stating that we were on vacation. Then she made me egg free muffins for breakfast. Perfect. She was also very helpful in recommending places to eat and directions on how to get there.||||We would recommend.

What a wonderful stop in our journey around the Gaspe Peninsula. This B & B right off route 132 offers lovely rooms, a wonderful dinner menu and an ample satisfying breakfast. We enjoyed speaking with the host and her chef husband and they couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. All the rooms were lovely but the ones near the front are noisier due to the highway traffic and the McDonald's nearby. All in all a worthwhile and terrific experience.

Beautiful quiet place on the coast of the Saint Lawrence river. I travel for a living and this place has made rethink using hotels. Breakfast was light and delicious.
