Very relaxed, comfortable little hotel in a nice part of town. The Rue St Denis was lively (I arrived during the circus festival) and friendly, with an excellent selection of terrace restaurants nearby, but there was rarely street noise at the back. Always helpful staff on reception. The hotel was generally well maintained, although I had a budget room so the shower was small. Standard buffet breakfast in a pleasant room. Highly recommended.

We had a winter visit. The staff people we met were all very friendly and accommodating. The location of the Hotel was perfect for exploring the different areas of the city. The room was clean and quiet. The only things preventing this review from being a 5 was that we found the mattress to be too firm for our liking and I would have enjoyed a few more heartier options at the continental breakfast. Our stay was great and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling to Montreal!

I debated between 3 and 4 stars--I was quite satisfied, but my standards are not all that high. The room was very small and I had minor noise issues, but it was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast was very nice. The best thing was the incredible helpfulness of the front desk staff. They were phenomenal.

Lovely little hotel, in the heart of the fun! Despite this, the rooms are very very quiet. The staff are amazing and so kind and helpful. The rooms lovely. Breakfast is a huge buffet with lots of choices and one can sit inside or out under a permanent canvas style 'room' where you can watch the world walk by on the rue St Denis, as you sip your excellent coffee . Unfortunately, there is no lift/elevator in this small hotel and the stairs quite steep - but the staff are there if you need them! I will stay here any time I go to visit Montreal!

Great location - easy to walk to many neighborhoods, museums and attractions, with tons of great restaurants and bars nearby. Small, no-frills room, but overall very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast spread each morning, including fresh croissants, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The staff were lovely and very accommodating - they made everything easy for us, from parking directions, to storing our bags before we could check in, to keeping some items in the kitchen fridge and freezer for us. The only downside was that our room was on the patio and there was almost always someone sitting right outside our room smoking.

Great location, low prices, and clean rooms - only problem my shower was pouring water from the lower tap at the same time as the shower head was... Receptionists were all very nice and helpful. Breakfast was a simple continental one but still good. WiFi was working very well. And overall it was pretty quiet.

Cute hotel in the heart of downtown. I got my mom a room there for my wedding and she really enjoyed it. Said that the breakfast was good, the people at the front desk were extremely helpful as well. Loved the fact that they had reasonably priced toiletries for my nephew who needed a few things. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Small and cozy. Upon arrival we able to leave our bags while we went to the payed parking lot they mention in the description. It was a bit of a walk which is not fun during a rain storm but given that parking is a big issue in Montreal we were happy to have the option. The room offered all the necessary amenities. We chose this hotel for its location so we could enjoy Montreal's nightlife, once back at the room that same nightlife did not disturbed our sleep. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for our next visit.

Yelp
While most of my experience in Montreal was absolutely awful (not necessarily because the city itself was awful, but for a variety of reasons), our stay at this motel was excellent. The price was reasonable, and the service was very friendly. Our room was absolutely adorable, as was the neighborhood. The location was great, as it was close to a lot of restaurants (although our experiences with those were not as great) and within walking distance of a Metro stop. Also, for breakfast I was expecting your typical rolls and orange juice, and maybe some cereal, but there was a great selection of different breakfast foods and the dining room was very cute. I would definitely stay here again if I was going to Montreal, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting!

Yelp
Great little hotel with great staff and a great breakfast in a great neighborhood. We loved it here! There are several veg restaurants in the area (Vego, Copper Branch, Panthere Verte, Hindusthali, Yuan, Momo, Herbivores, and others), which made it especially great. Lots of other stuff too!

Yelp
Just checked out and is right now at the YUL airport but could not wait to write a review for the nice accommodation and very nice treatment I received from Noureddine and Dorina both the morning and evening receptionists. My first time in Montreal and first time in this hotel but since I'm gonna be travelling here 4x or more a year from now on I am gonna keep this hotel. I will make this my home when in Montreal. A typical small but very Europian style local hotel located in the heart of St-Denis 1st., the party street and close to everything. I was able to visit all the tourist spots by just walking. It was fun. Metro is just a couple of blocks away (Berri Uqam) and Bus 747 to and from airport. I love this place big time. I will be coming back many many times and will be bringing friends for them to see and experience the same. You will never get bored in this location.

Yelp
WOW! Talk about a place with EXCELLENT customer service!!! This is a charming bed and breakfast where the staff takes the time to give you directions, helps you order your food in French, and will even make you an early morning breakfast if you have to leave before the complimentary breakfast! My friends came in a day early than I did so they were already situated but as I stumbled in from the blistering Canadian cold, there was a sweet hostess smiling and waiting for me with the keys to my room. She also called my friends to let them know I arrived safely. Once I dumped all my stuff in the room, we came out with a barrage of questions on where to eat, how to get to the Notre Dame Basilica, and where the closet Metro stop was. She spent 20 minutes with us, circling the main streets and drawing arrows on the map since my friends and I are slow and lack any sense of direction. After a hefty explanation and my friend scribbling down directions on notes as well, we were on our merry way. Despite the one night stay, we'd definitely come back to this place.

Yelp
Had a great stay at Antoine's Garden B&B!! First, it's got a great location, one block from the central bus station, and located at the robust corner of St Denis and Ontario. With plenty of bars and restaurants to go to nearby, and with the exciting Latin Quarter just up the block, there is no shortage of places to visit within walking distance. The B&B itself was very nice. Friendly staff 24/7. Quaint decor, especially the staircases and wall art. A rather bountiful continental breakfast with more than just the traditional toast and coffee-- a generous spread of pastries, eggs, yogurts, cheeses, ham, cereal, and on one morning, croissants! The room was a good size, large with a comfy bed. My only complaint (and a 0.5 star reduction) was because the rooms were not well cleaned on my days there. The bed was made and the room was tidied up, but the towels were not replaced when left on the floor. 4.5 stars,

Yelp
Beautiful, spacious room in an awesome location! Wood floors and massive jacuzzi tub! Perfect Montreal charm. Will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future visits.

Yelp
Awesome small hotel. The staff is fantastic. They speak both English and French and are happy to help you with just about anything. The location is amazing. Close to amazing food of all kinds including French, Greek, Asian, Indian as well as close to the Metro and buses.

Yelp
This a great little hotel. Very European. The person at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. He gave great advice on parking (5 mins away), subway (5 mins away), where to get Canadian currency and how to get to our restaurant. The rooms are renovated but have old-style wallpaper and furniture. The bathrooms are totally modern - ours had a jacuzzi! The neighborhood has innumerable restaurants and a large (French) cinema. The breakfasts were excellent - especially the fresh croissants. We had one of the rooms facing Rue St Denis - it was pretty noisy until late into the night with music and reveling. Only two of the rooms face the street. Overall a fun, affordable, convenient hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Great local hotel. My boyfriend and I travel a lot and have had our ups and down with less expensive hotels, but this is the best one we've ever found! They are very accommodating to English speakers and helped us find nice attractions in the area. It was a beautiful room as well, French doors and a jacuzzi tub! Nice "continental style" breakfast, nothing fancy but a great start to the day. We also sat on their small outside space to eat which was nice. On our last day there they sold us a ticket to one of the local museums so we wouldn't have to stand in line and when we got there we found out it was free museum day, so we didn't need the ticket. After we were done we went back to the hotel to get the money back for the ticket since we didn't need it and they were VERY accommodating and apologetic. Very nice staff, I will be staying here again!
