Booking online is very easy. The room walls are paper thin. You will hear everything going on around you. We booked our room online and checked in, in person. Upon checking in , we were asked for a $250 deposit as insurance if we were to smoke in the room or cause damage. It would be refunded upon check out. The normal practice. We had just used a credit card while out for dinner before checking in. The receptionist tried unsuccessfully with 3 of our credit cards to secure this deposit. She stated that NONE of our cars work. We explained that this was not possible as we just used one literally before checking in and that it was probably a user or system issue. She asked for cash, which we did not have. Told us that we needed the $250 deposit to ba able to check in, and recommend that we drive 25 minutes round trip to an ATM. We did so. Once we submitted our $250 cash deposit, no receipt was given to us to confirm the deposit. She placed the money in an envelope and stated that it would be kept in the office. On our day of check out, we asked for our deposit back, which was given back. Nobody went to the room to valid that we had not smoked or caused any damage. How they justify sending their customers away to get cash for the formality of a "security" deposit blows my mind. The least they could do, would be to play the role of actually following suit and walking over to the room and do a walk through. The location is great and very close to everything you will need.
