Auberge Manitonga

I stayed in a king suite for 3 nights. It was clean, spacious and had all the amenities. Although some of them were on the basic side, there was nothing we needed that was missing. My only complaint is that the shower curtain needed to be replaced as it reeked of mildew. The front desk gave us extra coffee pods at no charge when we ran out. I’ll echo what other reviewers have said about the parking stalls being a bit narrow. However, it’s manageable as long as your neighbours can park. Our suite was on the main level, and there is a suite above. Fortunately our upstairs neighbours were quiet, but it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper. The floors are hardwood so there’s nothing to damper the sound.

Very nice hostel but with some negative points - specially bc it’s not a cheap hostel.|$70 in a mix bedroom with 8 ppl||They have a bar and some food options for purchase;|The bathrooms were spacious and finally someone considered adding hooks and a place to fit your stuff;||Cons|Bedding wasn’t clean and my blanket had hairs from previous guest.|Another guest said he saw staff goes in the rooms to take naps. Why???? Don’t they have their own rooms and do they change bedding after their nap? That’s gross||Also, I love that the staff is happy and get along but they are always cooking and drinking together while front desk is left alone, bathrooms have no paper and it’s full of trash and other things needs to be addressed are not because they’re busy with their shenanigans. I felt like I was staying in their house- with most of the kitchen reserved for the staff ( with rude note saying “don’t steal our food)||Thin walls and plank flooring are bad - you can hear everything and every step from people above you

This hostel is exceptional. Everything—including; the room kitchen, bathroom, and lounge is extremely clean. The staff are friendly, and the location is ideal for a ski trip to Mont-Tremblant. This is also a extreamly affordable hostel, only costing $116 for a four person room.

Perfect place to explore Mont Tremblant! Everything is well-organized and convenient. The reception staff is also very friendly. The bus(free loop) stop is right in front of the property. The local town, which isn’t too touristy or busy, is within walking distance from the property and even has a grocery store

I’ve stayed at the Manitonga Hotel around four times already, and I definitely plan to keep coming back whenever I visit Mont-Tremblant. The experience has always been excellent. The staff are kind, generous, and always ready to help with anything you might need.||One of the great features of the hotel is the shared kitchen, which is perfect if you want to heat up or cook your own meals. The location is also ideal, especially if you don’t have a car. There's a free shuttle bus right next to the hotel that takes you directly to the Mont-Tremblant ski resort in five minutes.||The area around the hotel is convenient, with several restaurants and shops nearby for a quick meal or snack. There’s also a beautiful lake just beside the hotel, where you can swim, rent a boat, or simply relax by the water. Plus, there are several places nearby where you can rent bikes, skis, or snowshoes depending on the season.||Overall, I’m really happy I found this place & I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Positive: The photos of the rooms givythe impression that washrooms and bathrooms are inside the room which is not the case. I never had seen a hotel with shared bathroom and toilet!! Negative: The reception was relocated to give extra towels and napkins!! He said you have already have one towel which it was wet.

We saw two receptionist and them were so educated and friendly. Everything was fine just the bathroom had a strong odour

Unbeatable location between Lac Mercier and Mont-Tremblant. The kitchen is impressively equipped—even an industrial-style oven—perfect for cooking for a large group. The bathroom was recently renovated and included thoughtful touches like a hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. The outdoor space was also a highlight, with direct access to Lac Moore. That said, the dorm rooms could use upgrades: more power outlets, personal lights, and curtains for each bunk would make a big difference. Sharing just a few outlets for the whole room was inconvenient. One issue I ran into was with my reservation dates. I mistakenly booked from Thursday to Saturday instead of Friday to Sunday. Although I admitted the error, I was hoping for a bit more flexibility, especially since the receptionist confirmed there was availability. Unfortunately, they held firm on the policy and charged me for the extra night. I understand it was my mistake, but a more understanding approach would’ve gone a long way—especially in a budget-friendly hostel setting. Despite that hiccup, the rest of my stay was really enjoyable.

Beautiful beautiful room on the auberge side. People are super friendly. Clean, modern, high end amenities. I have no problem giving this a 5 star rating. I would definitely go back, even though I'm a local! Please go visit them!
