great service from start to end. takes the jacket, explains the dishes, attentive to the needs. keep it up! food was as expected, classy and of good quality but just shy of being amazing though. the amuse-bouche was nicely done and tasty. my poached oysters entree was really delicious(which is a big deal to me because i usually like oysters fresh and raw and seldom like it cooked). my iberique porc main course was reasonably ok, the quality of the meat itself was good but the sauce and accompanying items was not good enough for me(esp the lentil cake). finally my entremet cappucino dessert was just about right for me, not too sweet. Prices could be viewed as a little on the high side but it was a good french cuisine experience nonetheless and therefore still deserve a 5-star rating.

We were not scruffy but not overly smart; the restaurant had 3 tables available and the Maitre d looked us up and down before saying that he MIGHT have a table. Despite the fact that we were treated with disdain the food was very good and on balance we enjoyed the experience (just)

The restaurant dies not stand his reputation. I was ok to have an old French gastronomy restaurant bit food is not exceptional at all and prices are still high. Wine card is just poor. Not my advice definitively
