Auberge Saint Donat

Very different format for this restaurant and seems very successful. Only one choice on menu, varies day to day. The food was great and amazing value. Our table of four had a three course meal, two bottles of wine and two soft drinks and coffees, worked out €23.50 each. Excellent friendly service, Only gave 4 for atmosphere as it is on a main road roundabout, would that stop me coming again? Absolutely not, definitely on my list to return to. You can look at previous days menus on their Facebook to give you an idea of what is served. 100% would recommend.

If you like to eat where the locals eat then come here !! There is no real menu, they have a board at the front and thats what you get , For €22 per person at lunchtime you get a 4 course meal with a drink and coffee! Starter today was a Greek salad followed by a slice of ham and mushroom pizza , then the hunters rabbit linguine and then you can choose from a choice of desserts, I had the tiramisu and my partner had the chocolate mousse ! All in all a lovely tasty meal and was so nice to just have a meal out simplified by not having a menu. It's packed full of locals with a very nice ambience of people chatting over good food, If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit!!

Set menu without choice (except dessert) but the food is always excellent. The staff are super friendly and service is swift. Filled with french families enjoying their food which says it all about this place. Thoroughly recommend.

Restaurant by a roundabout - not one’s first choice but the excellent food and prompt service more than makes up for it! 4 courses plus wine, water and coffee - for €22!! You have what is on the board - and it is always good! Choice of dessert…. I used to come here often 10 yrs ago - returning recently - it had not changed - thank goodness!!

Always love having lunch here. Food is fresh and local authentic French. Service is warm and quick. They post their menu of Facebook each morning.

Amazing fixed plat du jour restaurant. 22 euros for a wine, salad, starter, main plate, dessert and coffee. Food was delicious and service was excellent. We will be back often.

Pretty good restaurant for local cuisine. The service and food are excellent. The atmosphere is slightly oppressive, but it is compensated by the good steaks.
