Only stayed one night and did not have breakfast or other food or drink, so limited overall experience, plus we were there May, well before high season. This is a small, wonky (understandably as it is a medieval building) place with some mild oddities (like bath-tap showerhead, and concertina sliding door on the bathroom), but the location is a complete delight: right on a small, historic, stone-built square, with a couple of bars (so on a Sat night there was some external noise of drinkers up to around midnight), a simple little shop five mins away, the gorgeous cobbled alleyways of La Brigue all around, and a couple of great walks, full of wildflowers and butterflies (and Short-Toed and Golden Eagles!), starting just a few minutes away. Especially because of the authentic-feeling beauty of the village location (and with a train station too!), this was great value for money.
