Aubrey's Hixson

We were wanting to try this place out and finally did today. Wifey got the chicken fingers with the thick cut homemade potato chips and I got the thunder burger with pimento cheese, tobacco onions (fried onion straws) and pickled jalapeno peppers. We both got the tomato bisque as the side which was amazing! We really enjoyed our food and will definitely be back but I may get the burger with grilled onions next time or try the ribeye! Service was great - our server Jill was on point!

Great place to eat. Service is always great. We have book club here a lot on Mondays and we never feel rushed off. So far everything has been great here. The lemon chicken and the salads are amazing. Cadence is always kind and pleasant. Great service all around. Can't go wrong with this place.

Jill was absolutely amazing!! Very friendly and warm presence for an out of towner. The food and service was quick and delicious!

Came here for dinner, to try the chicken tenders, and they were really good! They had a nice breading and were flavorful. They have a good honey mustard that comes with it too. Got mac n cheese and a caesar salad with the tenders. The mac n cheese is kind of plain but was good. The salad wasn't my favorite but it was good, it was just the house-made caesar dressing was a little too fishy for me, not a deal breaker though. All the staff I interacted with were really nice. It was a bit dark in the dining area though, couldve been a smidge brighter inside. Lots of parking available. I definitely recommend trying their chicken tenders!

Coldest beer around but chicken tendees were like fried rubber… cheese dip was quality. staff and atmosphere were great

I had a pleasant visit at this establishment. I went upon a humdrum afternoon, honestly I was there to see a dear friend that works in the kitchen . Regrettably, had just missed him. So I decided to stay to eat as my blood sugar was getting low. I had the Cheddar burger and Yukon chips. The chips came as a recommendation from the waiter whose name I now forget but who was excellent. All the food came out hot and in a timely fashion. Everything tasted amazing, the restaurant was clean and buzzing with business. All and all a great experience

I absolutely loved their baked potato soup. Anyone that goes here needs to try their big potato soup fantastic. One of the best. The only place that does better is my own homemade baked potato soup. It was a great waiter there he really rocked. The atmosphere is pretty chill, but I didn’t really think anything special about the burger, but there’s other things on the menu, but I will be back for the soup.

I enjoyed their Asian chicken salad, and their appetizer bread was yummy!

Aubrey's is a very good restaurant. Only criticism is no prices on online menu. Bummer!

Tried this for dinner on our 24th anniversary. The salmon was great. My husband is a bit selective on steak (worked as a butcher prior). Was hoping he would love the filet- he said not the best but better than most. I will take it! Plan to go again and try more selections.

The chicken tenders are awesome. Didn't have to wait took us right back as we entered the restaurant. Service was good great hostess

Prime rib over cooked to med well , over cooked pasta & grilled chicken sliced thin in pasta dish , We noticed the reviews said over cooked steaks! But decided to give them a try anyway SINCE we've never been there ! Won't be back over priced & waitresses should've told Mgr the steak was OVERCOOKED ! Oh well u don't care .

Fantastic! We love Aubrey's! We've eaten here many times and have even ordered through DoorDash! My mother in law came to visit from California and ate there and loved it also!

Good food but lacks choices for diabetics. Prices are way too high and it takes too long to get the food. Parking lot is too small. My husband loves the Hawaiian Ribeye but there aren't many things I can have there. The bread is flavorless and impossible to slice.

Service was the best. Our salad was very fresh, awesome dressing. Everything was perfect except the center cut sirloin steak was overcooked and overcooked. Very disappointing.

Customer service is good but everything we had was blah or not good. Steak bites for appetizers were way overcooked and no flavor. The rest of the meals disappointed as well.

The server unfortunately needs to be taught how to wait tables. We arrived and was seated promptly. The restaurant was a bit warm. The server came after a few minutes and asked for our drink order. I ordered a Corona and water. We were asked if we would like to order an appetizer or would just like bread. She left and came back with two sodas and no water while she waited for my beer at the bar. My beer was brought and we ordered. Still no water. So two of the three entrees that were ordered, additionally ordered a side salad. The salads were brought and I finally asked if I could get the water I had ordered earlier. I kid you not , the second fork full of salad and here comes our entrees. The entrees were brought by other servers. Finally here comes my water. This seems to be a common occurrence this kind of service. We finish our meal she brings us boxes. Then we have to sit and wait for her to bring the check. Where we are seated I can clearly see her standing in the kitchen looking down as if maybe looking at her checks, but occasionally she looks up to talk to another server. We sit and wait for another 9 minutes and she comes out of the kitchen does something at the soda station then goes back into the kitchen. The three of us are not happy by this point the restaurant is very warm the sun has not set yet and we want to go. The bill is finally brought and she leaves again for us to wait for her return. My friends have asked me not to make a scene until after the bill is paid. I'm not going to make a scene but am going to speak to the manager. I did speak to the manager. We did not want free meals. I did want the manager to know her server needs to be re-trained. I was not the one who paid the bill and they did not tip her. So if the manager who was running around working harder then the servers did not correct the actions of the server maybe she will realize the service she gives is the service that is tipped upon.

Food was great and service was excellent. Our server Andrew made our dining experience very comfortable. The ambiance was good as well. Worth checking out.

Stopped in for late lunch and glad we did. The beer was ice cold and my chicken salad wrap was delicious. Hubby tried his favorite chicken tenders in their new Buffalo sauce. They were good but the sauce made them soggy. Will stick with the originals next time. Service is always good, atmosphere comfortable and relaxing.

This was our second time at Aubrey's - excellent experience both times. We've had the Reuben sandwich, Caesar salad, rattlesnake pasta, and fish & chips, and loved it all. Today, we arrived at 12:20 pm and the parking lot was packed. I was resigned to having to wait awhile for seating or service. However, we walked in and the hostess seated us immediately; the server greeted us within minutes. Great management that knows how to plan enough servers for their busy times. Staff is very friendly, restaurant is clean.

Ohhhh yeah So I decided to check out Aubrey's located out in Tennessee and I am so happy I did. This restaurant was beautiful inside and out. The weather was nice out so I had my meal out on their deck. Which was nice and peaceful just the way I like it. My meal was hot and tasty. Very well seasoned. My server Tharin was great thank you so much.

My first visit was deeeelicious :) My friend got the catfish (she liked it) and I ordered the days special, "Meatloaf" served on mashed potatoes & a veggie side. No surprise I got the last serving of meatloaf, as it's understandably popular. It's seems like a family restaurant, trying to keep the decor modern and even if you prefer a more country style decor, it certainly didn't phase this Sunday crowd. Touché! :D

1. Ordered drinks with little to no ice and that was ignored. No drink refills at all. 2. Waitress came to the table to take our order and said "I'll start with you, sir." And took my husband's order first. 3. Our food came out and she sat my husband's order in front of me and almost didn't correct herself. 4. My husband's plate was 1/3rd full with salmon on a bed of undercooked wild rice. My potatoes were cold and slopped into the dish with them running down the side. 5. While we were obviously still eating, she asked if we wanted a box and the check. 6. She brought the check and gave it to me - the woman. 7. She mentioned it was a long day. We didn't come to hear her complain. We wanted a nice meal. The staff were cleaning and bringing personal drinks to the tables as they did so. Service was extremely immature and unprofessional. The prices were way too high for the quality of food. The lighting was horrible and the ambience didn't match the theme. The acoustics made it hard to hear. There is nothing I would recommend about this place.

Food is excellent. Services were slower than usual. Atmosphere is good. My wife and l enjoy stopping here.

Always great food! Only ah-ha moment was the spinach queso, did not expect the chips to have a kick! Service is always on par, restaurant is always clean, quiet with a great atmosphere. Never disappointed

Fish & Chips and North Carolina Catfish were both very good and large portions! We had lunch for the next day too. Love the outdoor patio and dog friendly.

Great place for a cook from scratch kitchen. Daxia, our bartender is super friendly and hospitable. They have one of the best happy hour!

Food was Great as always . The service this time was poor, our Server Max was distracted by the table behind us bc apprarently they knew his family, he was put off with me due to the fact he assumed I only wanted take out box for my salad, tgen preceded to take his time returning our Check to leave. Ambiance was nice as last visit.

Tried Aubrey's for the first time in March 2021. It was just me and a good book, so I decided to have a leisurely sit down meal. I started with the chicken corn chowder (?). It was recommended by the waitress. Once I got a taste, well....I finished it before I remembered to take a pic...ooops. The soup was delicious! I also selected the crab cake app. A good crab cake with visible lumps of crab and a nice remoulade. My entree was the fish and chips with a side of squash casserole. The portions were plentiful - a little too much "fried"on one plate, but you realize that as you are eating it - I took 3/4 of it home, but it was hot and tasted good, not too greasy. The squash casserole had a "sweet"ish taste, so on the fence about this side, I'm more of a savory gal myself. Speaking of sweet....I did get dessert this time around. The cheesecake had a carmel sauce and was pretty tasty. I only had room for one bite - but that bite satisfied the one sweet tooth I have... The service was very good and I enjoyed the overall experience.

My mom and I had lunch on a Saturday at Aubrey's. We walked in just around noon and were sat immediately. Our server was at our table in less than a minute to greet us and was super friendly. We ordered the spinach queso with homemade chips as an appetizer. The dip is definitely more queso than spinach, but it was still good. The bread that's served to the table was hard, not sure if that's how it's supposed to come, but it was served with a nice honey butter. The main courses are where I'm deducting stars. My mom ordered the special of the day, a chicken salad wrap. Their chicken salad is very dry and has too much of a boiled chicken taste that couldn't be helped with the wrap and toppings. She ordered a side salad as her side, which was forgotten about by the food runner. Our server brought it over as soon as she realized it was missing. I ordered the Granny Smith steak salad. Granny Smith apples are tart, but these spirals almost tasted pickled. Way too bitter for a salad. My steak was undercooked, but it had a good flavor. The dressing, I chose Caesar, was almost like a balsamic vinegarette and again, way too bitter for a salad. The combination of everything together just didn't do it for me. $40 for two sub-par main dishes and one nicely done appetizer had us feeling it wasn't worth it.

Food was decent, i had scrod and my wife had salad. Service was good, however evening was marred by an obnoxious, large group-of 20 plus seated half way on the other side of dining room. If no specific closed room exists for large groups , there needs to be limits set on Decibels and obnoxious behavior.

Great atmosphere, music level was perfect. The bread looks wonderful. Plenty of fresh butter. Staff is friendly and attentive. Ordered the Thunder Road Burger. Cooked perfectly. Tasty and juicy. Sweet potato fries were delicious and crispy. My friends had chicken salad and soup and sausage and pimento cheese. Delicious.

One of the best spots in Cleveland, always packed which tells you everything you need to know. Broad menu and everything on there is amazing. Friendly staff and they do a very nice job. Great bar as well.

The food is great. Better than the chain restaurant alternatives in the area mostly. Generous portions and good service. My one complaint is that their knives are so dull that it makes eating even the prime rib a chore.

It hasn't been very good the last few times we've been there. My daughter's fish was raw on the inside. My chicken breast was overcooked. We sent the fish back, but by the time we got it back everyone else at the table had already finished eating.

Small menu of just a select bit of entrees. The managers are very mean and not helpful at all. Management needs to be replaced. Employers are mistreated and that is not a good work environment.

Always love coming to a nice, local restaurant. Maybe it was covid-19, maybe the cook was having a bad day but this is the worst meal I have ever paid for it Aubrey's. Before I go any further, I had plenty of opportunities and chances from our server and the manager to let them know how everything was and I did not take it up. I am sure they would have made it right or corrected it. However, I did not feel comfortable asking for that. I got the ribeye and was expecting a beautifully flavored steak, cooked medium. That, sadly, was not the case at all. The steak itself looked incredible and had no flavor. I don't know how a ribeye could be made with no flavor, I'm not even sure if it had salt and pepper. It was cooked more towards well done then Medium as well. I was extremely shocked at the lack of any taste or juices from the steak. My wife and I frequent Aubrey's, we've never had this happen and I wasn't sure how to approach it. For $26, I probably should have. But again, due to covid-19 and possibly other factors, maybe that had something to do with it. I will certainly be back to Aubrey's. They're local, they have a very friendly staff and management. Today though, was simply not the chef or Cooks Day in the back I guess.

We very much enjoy eating at Aubreys, and did so at their Cleveland, TN, location. Very pleased they opened up this Hixson location. They offer a well - varied menu, something for everyone. You can carry on a decent conversation without losing your hearing (the sports bar is behind a glass wall), and the ambience is well - designed. Enjoy. p.s. consider opening an Aubrey's in the Twin Cities region where we moved.

I give it 3 stars because everything was ok. The service was ok. The server was attentive but the 3 people at the hostess booth didn't even look up or acknowledge myself or the the other 2 people in front of me until they were finished with whatever they were doing. The food was good. Nothing spectacular or outstanding, but good chain-quality food. The exception being the complimentary bread. That was really tasty and fresh. I wouldn't make a choice to go here, but I wouldn't hate going if others wanted to go.

While the food and service were good, they had a halibut special that my father ordered that had no posted price on the board. While the fish was ok (albeit a bit dry) the price on the bill for it was $42. We asked the waiter who assured us the price was correct and that it was so high because the fish was "still swimming yesterday", which I cannot see how that justifies that much for a halibut fillet in a restaurant whose average menu item price is $14 -$18. I would be very sure if their "market catch" prices before ordering.

Superb and friendly service in an upscale setting serving non-pretentious comfort foods. On this visit we started with the thick cut potato chips that were wonderfully seasoned and a perfect crunch and texture that is surprising considering their thick cut. My entrée was the prime rib which was a generous potion, flavorful, and cooked to order. The side of fries were crisp and fresh with an excellent seasoning. My fellow-diners ordered the Haystack Pasta, Grilled Salmon Tacos, and Cheddar Burger. Everyone at our table really enjoyed our meals. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff was superb and refills were always prompt. For desert we had the Apple Walnut Cobbler and the Chocolate Turtle Cake. The latter was okay and fairly pedestrian so I'd probably go with the cobbler.

This was my first time here but won't be my last. The atmosphere was very nice and new. The staff seemed very well trained and friendly. At lunch on a Monday, there was about a 20 minute wait. There was not enough parking and I had to park in the mall parking lot. I think it could be because they share parking with Panda Express next door. This may not have been thought out very well. I began with the Spinach Con Queso and it was very good with just the right amount of spice. Not a lot of spinach but just right. They also served some very fresh bread with butter. The side salad was rather large with chopped cucumbers, 1/2 of a tomato, fresh shredded cheese and shoestring potato chips. I had the Cheeseburger and chose fries as my side. It was very fresh and about a 1/4 pound size with all the toppings. They asked how I would like my meat prepared. My guest had the Chicken Tenders and they had a thick coating that tasted like home fried chicken. Very tasty! Would recommend.

I love this place. Waitstaff are great and the food is really good. Nothing bad to date! Even when the place is packed they can get your orders in and out to you in a decent time. I don't think you can go wrong checking this place out!

Love, love love this restaurant!! Potato soup I'd do good, Haystack pasta is amazing!! Definitely ask for bread, it is delicious. Strawberry salad is refreshing and so tasty. Service is always great. Specials throughout the week and pricing is reasonable.

On 07/03/2022 @ 5 O'clock on Sunday evening Not a crowd not a wait to be seated. Had to tell the young hostess 4 times that we had 4 adults and 3 children and he asked if they were 6 total. I had to define 4+3=7 not 6! We ordered 3 small plates (Appetizer) Our drinks was sitting there empty we Had to ask for a Refill. The dinners came out and we had to ask for condiments not once but multiple times. Waiter was out in a LaLa zone definitely not paying attention to his job. I ordered the fish in chips the fish was way over cooked almost burnt terrible compared to just a few weeks ago. For a $136.00 tab I certainly expect much better service and quality of food. That's why I didn't give a 15% gratuity. Lacking in service and food prep. Frozen Fish from Sam's club in Air Fryer cooked to my perfection much better. Just Saying not worth the hype!

My husband and I love to come here for a date that does r break the bank. The sausage and pimiento starter is amazing and the salads are phenomenal. My husband loves his steak and we can't wait to come back!

I cannot praise Aubrey's enough. We went there as a party of seven. Our waitress Deirdra was an angel. The food was excellent and they bent over backwards to make sure we had an enjoyable meal. I highly recommend Aubrey's.

Aubrey's is a chain casual dining restaurant. It's on a level with Ruby Tuesday's, Applebee's, and Olive Garden. It has indoor dining and a medium size patio that extends into an open bar area. It is new to the Chattanooga hwy 153 line-up. Aubrey's menu is pretty standard, with the usual burgers and fries and ... The restaurant doesn't seem to have a theme or specialty, and the menu reflects this -- good solid chain casual dining, no surprises. our food came to the table quickly, along with our drinks. The quality and flavor of each of the selections at our table was, like the menus and the restaurant in general: no surprises, decent food, with average-to-good taste, but not outstanding. Our waitperson was pleasantly engaging and helpful. I can recommend Aubreys for someone who wants a straight-forward plain casual restaurant experience.

I have heard lots about this place from several different people. It did not disappoint! We were greeted my "smiling" masked faces. We asked to sit in the bar area, we picked our table and was greeted promptly by a server. I asked to taste a few ciders and the wife ordered a blue moon. I ended up going with the diskins cider, really flavorful. When it came to dinner, we ordered the filet medium with broccoli and I ordered the rattlesnake pasta. Both were out of the world, I mean, a steak was good to perfection and super moist and the rattlesnake pasta with the spicy cream sauce and mushrooms were perfect! Overall beyond affordable and we will be back and hang out a little longer next time!

Was hoping for a flavorful steak, veggie, Caesar salad with a draft IPA. Ordered the 12-oz ribeye and Parmesan spinach with the salad. Salad was over-dressed with something sweet in it. Steak had nice grill marks, but no seasoning and was medium-well. Spinach was tasty and the beer was cold. Ordered a chocolate-espresso martini for dessert. This wasn't the right thing to order - not even a little sweet, not chocolaty. Left most it. The bartender was pleasant and prompt, but definitely not familiar with this drink. Three stars due to serious misses on steak, salad and expensive but undrinkable after-dinner drink.

Love this place. Lunch is all I've experienced but the restaurant itself is what I love. The staff is always friendly and they make you feel like you're their only customer. The food is tasty, and what a selection! If you have time to go enjoy a drink and food, give them a try!

Stopped at Aubrey's in Hixson for lunch. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very attentive and polite. We ordered and got our food quickly. Our lunch was very good and prices weren't bad. We will definitely be back.

I don't recommend this restaurant, I gave them 2 starts b/c of presentation only. My husband and I had a late lunch so he wanted to stop by this place. My husband steak was cold, the waitress was shocked and apologized immediately and took the steak back for reheating. The manager Daniel brought the steak back and didn't even bother to say anything.... He just said "here's your steak" and walked off... Sir, have some manners and at least say, "I'm sorry about this" We agreed we would never return to this establishment.

Their Smashed Potatoes are not individual potatoes smashed and then pan fried but just run-of-the-mill Mashed Potatoes. It's not a big deal just not what I ordered. Food otherwise was fine.

Great time and great food. Dave is a rockstar bartender. The Strong Sauce is good for that soul. Speaking the truth against the evil empire and those that steal bar stools.
