Olive and Kieran are absolutely wonderful hosts who will go above and beyond what you expect to make your stay a comfortable one. I cannot recommend them more! Gluten free breakfast? No problem. Vegetarian? No problem. Leaving bags there? Parking? No problem. Best location you could imagine, close to everything you need but still quiet and cozy. You have to be able to handle stairs, as all of the rooms are on upper floors.

I had the pleasure of staying with Olive and Kieran for three nights this month in the twin room with my Mum. Location is perfect - very easy to get the bus from the airport and if you have a car there is parking nearby. There is a great street for restaurants/pubs 2/3 mins away and at most it's a 7 min walk to the centre of the city. The room was an excellent size and spotlessly clean. Olive was very attentive to our needs and as we were experiencing a bit of heat wave and then a drop in temperature actually offered and then changed the duvets in our room to make sure we weren't too hot and then too cold! Breakfast was great too. The stay was everything we were hoping it would be - a traditional BnB experience with amazing hosts! Very easy to contact and book via WhatsApp as well. If we ever come back to Cork we will most definitely stay with Olive again!

It was our first time in Cork and we are so happy we chose this guesthouse. The owner couple Olive and Kieran were so lovely and we had an amazing conversation and delicious homemade breakfast. The room was cozy and comfy. Meeting new people in a new place is always a treasure of traveling. Thank you two for making this trip so special and pleasant. Hope to see you again here or in Japan!

Such a lovely little B&B. This was my first time in Cork and I know it was made better by staying here. Olive and her husband are wonderful, and made sure I was comfortable while travelling alone. I didn’t have a chance to try breakfast as I was quite jet lagged and needed the rest, but it smelled INCREDIBLE. I’m vegetarian and they were happy to ensure I had something substantial to eat, had I gone for breakfast. Olive made sure I took some fruit with me on my way out to keep me going. My room was very clean and well equipped with coffee and tea. Some noise from the room next door, but Olive proactively spoke to the guests about the noise. They are located quite close to city centre and the train station. The area felt very safe, even at night. I have no complaints, I would recommend this to anyone and would gladly stay again.

Lovely clean B&B. Olive the host was amazing, friendly, and very helpful with directions to attractions, tours, and methods of transportation. This place is conveniently located in the city of Cork and it is walking distance to pretty much everywhere. We highly recommend this guest house for anyone visiting this city. I was here 6 years ago, and I was very glad I came back.

I rarely write reviews but have to extol the warmth, grace, and kindness of Olive and her husband, and recommend their Auburn House B & B. It is clean and comfortable and they went out of their way to give us sightseeing tips and to ensure that our stay went well. They even parked our car for us in a nearby gated church lot and retrieved it on the day we left. And the location is perfect - far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city yet within walking distance of legendary trad-session pubs like Sinè and Cork’s marvelous city center. While street noise can be a bit loud in the front bedroom, it is all but gone by 10 pm. We’d love to return one day.

Olive and Keiran are simply the best! Any small "older house typical" problems can easily be looked over when two such nice and helpful people are there for you! Everything was clean, the breakfast itself was very good and we really enjoyed the communication and overall stay. If we are every in Cork again, I'm sure that we'll check here first for availability.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Auburn Guesthouse. Olive and Kieran were wonderful hosts, especially Olive, who devoted a lot of time to making sure we had a great stay, gave us loads of information about the best things to see and places to eat, cooked fantastic breakfasts and even offered to give us a lift to one of the main tourist attractions! The room was clean, cosy and very spacious - much more so than the other hotels and inns we stayed at during our time in Ireland. Great location close to the train station, city centre and Paddywagon tours departure point. Highly recommended, if we ever revisit Cork we hope to stay here again!
