New Orleans Itinerary: How to Spend 3, 4, or 5 Days There in 2025

"I recommend spending an afternoon in Audubon Park to relax — the park spans over 350 acres, has ponds, walking trails, and shaded areas perfect for a picnic or a break from walking around the city." - Matthew Kepnes

Very nice place! Not what I expected. No bathrooms.

If you are looking for a quiet place to sit and enjoy nature, this is your place. It's also great for walks, fishing, playing catch with kids or the dog. There are 2 fairly large ponds and another smaller pond that all connect. I have seen deer run through the park and we have seen multiple native birds. The cons for this park are that the mosquitos are terrible 90% of the year and there is no restroom.

I love it here. I can go out on the trail then hang out under a tree. Very quiet park that is leashed pup friendly. If you love to take photos then this is the place to go. I always inspired here!

This is my quiet place, hands down without a doubt! You won't find a more serene place in all of Deltona. When I need a place to stop and think, just a moment of peace... ... This is the place I go to. I can center myself and enjoy nature. This place is amazing!

An unpaved trail leads from the parking lot through a boardwalk to the main park. Lots of open space and one picnic table but not much else here. If you're on the bike trail there's also an unpaved path that connects it to this park.

Great little path to an open field with ponds. Plenty of parking with dog poop bags. There is even a Pokémon Go Gym on the trail!

Nice trails... More of a nature trail than a park... It grows from doyle to the bike trail... On there's a pretty cool wooden bridge that spans a good distance... I'd recommend it for anyone that likes nature

One of my go to parks for a nature walk, typically gators in the small bits of water here but it’s FL. Great area for dogs but watch for snakes as well, beautiful scenery.
