The rooms were very basic. There is a fridge in the room but no tea/ coffee making facilities. The staff are very helpful. Harry and the other bar staff are great. There was entertainment every night which was great if you want to avoid the the busy party scene . The food I am afraid to say was bland. Absolutely no thought went into the breakfast options. The transfer bus dropped us off up the road. which was frightening trying to find the hotel. There should be more directions and well lit at night.

Yes, the fixtures and fittings date the hotel a little bit, but everything works perfectly. Still here and having a really enjoyable stay with my friends. All the staff are great, the rooms are clean, and the pool is refreshing in the 27-degree heat. |We were especially happy with having a balcony despite booking the best value room. Also happy that the room was twin so we got a bed each. |Looking forward to trying out the free yoga classes and to booking some time in the spa.

I went in end of June 2025 and the first thing I noticed was the type of guest that are mostly from 50 to 100 years old. The dress code is also very discrete, not casual. The smell when you enter the hotel is very peculiar, it reminded me of furniture cleaning product. The staff at the reception was not very nice but at the dining area were super nice. It has a gym where most of the equipment is missing or broken because people stole it/damaged it. The spa is very good and paid which I understand why ....they probably had to do that or it would end up like the gym. The room was very well climatized and clean every day. The only issue is that I was given a very small room, I even hit the heating equipment with the knee when assessing the other edge of the room where is the balcony. The pool in not a strong point. Very small and the sun only hits it from mid day. In terms of entertainment the hotel does not create special events only music and no dance floor. It is very well localised. 5 minutes walk from the beach, supermarkets, pharmacies .. everything. The food is amazing , probably the high point of this hotel. Hope this gives you an idea 😊

Got given an awful room on our first night, air con not working, fridge in the bathroom, tiny and looked out onto a wall of grafitti. Not what you expect for 4*. Complained and got moved to a much nicer room which we should have had in the first place. No kettle in the room. The photos on the website are of the superior rooms which you have to pay a lot more for. Didn't get much sleep due to people coming back in the early hours and banging on everyone's doors. On the positive side, the food was lovely and lots of choice, the rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff, with large selection of food buffet. We had the breakfast and dinner. The pool is deep and has access to a bar. Great location 10 min walk from the beach.

The place was amazing, we saw a fox in the wild, it’s calm, almost no one, good food, nice people. 10/10, we we’re so relaxed. The check-in/check-out however isn’t always open, as they say it is, so we had to check-out, but we could pay online after.

If you want a holiday to just relax at a hotel this is the perfect place for you. It's rather noisy at night from the rooms, people flushing their toilets, and hoovering at all hours of the night. If you don't mind a terrible view or looking at someone's washing line or into their flat off your balcony, then these rooms are for you!! The beds are what I can only describe as a pasting table with a sponge mattress and a sheet on top of it. If you have back problems, this is not the hotel for you. It took us 3 attempts to get a kettle for our room as the coffee they serve at breakfast is questionable. The food is awful, and we were so glad we chose not to go fully inclusive with this hotel as we eat out every morning rather than attempt to eat the breakfast they serve. It's a 15-minute walk to the beach down various back streets, plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants along the way. Unless you want to pay €25pp to go on a boat trip, there isn't a great deal to do around the area. The beach isn't sandy it is more like hard-core. The sea was very choppy while we were there, so we couldn't really go in the sea. There is a viewing point that you can take really nice photos at. Overall I wouldn't come back to Augusta but maybe visit a different hotel in the area.
