We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Augustus Resort! In a very short time, they organized the most beautiful decoration for my girlfriend’s birthday, making it such a special and unforgettable moment. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive – a special thank you to Emanuele, who was truly such a lovely person and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommended!

I was there in May, so not peak season, the room was big but the bed very uncomfortable (too soft mattress, probably old bed). The bathroom was big but the shower’s faucet was broken. I told that to the management, so just for the last night they gave me an upgrade to a family suite very nice, with 2 rooms and a renovated bathroom, although I noticed cheap faucets.|The breakfast was good, the restaurant too.|The pool was still closed, that was disappointing, but they have a wonderful beach club, so I stayed by the sea very comfortably. It’s the highlight of this hotel, although it’s not included, as in the whole Forte dei Marmi. All in all, it was a nice stay but with some issues, that were solved in the end.|But I think that Forte is overrated and way too expensive, for such an ugly sea.|Beach clubs are very organised and clean, but if the sea is so bad, what’s the point?

Beautiful property and great location, but unfortunately the attitude of some staff was very disappointing. During my stay I experienced rudeness, lack of clear communication, and even refusal to speak English when assistance was needed. For a hotel that presents itself as five-star and welcomes international guests, this level of service is unacceptable. Courtesy and professionalism should be the minimum standard.

This fine hotel , the Lido extension, which faces the sea ,is best described by me as “shabby chic” and I wouldn’t want to stay at another hotel in Forte . My room is ok , but what gives it the edge for me is the excellent service and simple charm of this Iconic small hotel |Perfect breakfasts and a lovely beach

I stayed at their partner hotel and I was said I could visit the gym paying the entrance fee of 20 euros. When I came there it turned out that the fee was 30 euros. I agreed. Went there for the whole week paying 30 euros every day, they have NEVER given to me any receipt…And the worst thing was that the last day before my departure I went there just as always and I was said that the rules had suddenly changed and from that day the entrance fee was 40 euros and besides that, if want to access the gym, I need to pay for the membership (the fee was kind of 70 euros). Who does need the membership when you visit a place for holidays?? And it was my last day there, of course I didn’t need any membership. I’ve been to 50 countries and have never seen anything like that in my whole life.

Except for the shuttle driver very nice service. Equipment not appropriate as there is no coffee machine/ tea maker standard in the room. Location very relaxing.

Extremely overpriced beach club. Felt like we were completely fleeced and no chance of a refund even with torrential rain. The food in the restaurant is not good and again overpriced. We resent how much we paid and wish we had gone elsewhere.

For a five star hotel, this has aged a bit and would benefit from a makeover. Romantic setting, though, beautiful nature.
