The good: our service from Vern was great. He’s a stellar guy and great at his job- attentive, professional, personable. We visited at night and missed out on the views. The restaurant is right on the river so daytime views have got to be great. They have a dock out back to for boat parking and to walk and take in the sights. The not great: the place sells all meals with this bar of random junk called “the fixings”. Honestly we couldn’t tell what any of it was, it’s random mush and slaws. The others end of the bar had cheese grits (I enjoyed those) and cinnamon apples (my friends ate those). The endless cinnamon buns are cute and smell nice when you walk in but one of those is plenty enough. As for the meal, I enjoyed our clam strips appetizer, solid with good texture. All three of us got the blackened mahi sandwiches because it was fish of the day. It was not a good value. Tiny thing filet you break in half to cover the bun. It’s smaller than a McDonalds fillet of fish sandwich. For $24 I do not recommend that, it’s a $10 sandwich at best. The green beans disappointed as well, canned green beans smothered in onions.

Don't get me started on the mouth watering homemade in front of you might I add... cinnamon rolls!!! The marshmallow pineapple fluff with the sweet potato fries was fabulous 👌

I've never been here before, so let's check it out. On the chalkboard outside I noticed it said blue jeans Sunday. Needless to say I wasn't wearing blue jeans. 😆 The ambiance with spectacular, especially on the second floor. Our group feels the server was attentive friendly and accommodating. It was somewhat busy. My whole Catfish was tasty, as was the hashbrown casserole. The cream spinach and sweet potato were really good 👍. My veggy omelette not so much a lil to oily for me. Someone in our group got the chicken and waffles, the hush puppies, the catfish bites, Mac and cheese, and chocolate chip pancakes. Everyone was pleasantly pleased as some went back for seconds. I would've loved to have had a pancake or cinnamon roll however the flour is enriched very unhealthy unsafe ingredient. Otherwise all was good We then continued outside to the dock where for .25¢ you can get some fish food and feed the catfish on the Halifax. Take some fun pictures, or just sit outside and enjoy the view of the river and the boats. There's also a small playground area outside where are the kiddos can play There's also live music at outside dining area. I will definitely return again. I would highly recommend this be a stop you make

This place was great! I went during happy hour! The had half off appetizers and drink specials! I had the Cajun shark bites which were great! The Flam Chowder was something different and really good and came out piping hot fresh! The shrimp was amazing and I enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. My server was really good and my food came out really fast! I will definitely be back !

Very popular seafood restaurant that has earned a great reputation for the freshest seafood and delicious preparation. We thoroughly enjoyed the clam strips in light batter with a lightly deep fried hush puppy. My wife added a crabcake w tartar sauce and a sweet potato side w honey cinnamon butter. Our entrees came w unlimited plates from their Fish Camp Fixings buffet. We agreed each of the fixin's was excellent. The buffet included barbeque baked beans, heated cinnamon spiced apple slices, cornbread, and broccoli salad, potato salad, and cole slaw. To top it off we're hot, gluey cinnamon rolls from the bakery. Waitstaff was excellent. Plenty of parking.

Our first time, was a LATE lunch 2pm, here it was strange to have several outdoor seating areas but only four or five that were owned by Aunt catfish's and suitable to be served at! The food was pretty good but nothing above anywhere else! And it inside was so cold we had to sit outside thank God there was a table! On the plus side they are pet friendly! But there isn't a lot of space especially if your pet weighs over 10 lb! They have lots of options and several good meal deals, but the atmosphere was a little cold/standoffish. Our server was on point and very sweet. In the opinion of myself and my husband, it is a little overpriced. We probably won't go back.

Really enjoyed my meal. Loved the cinnamon rolls. They were worth the visit themselves. We sat outside on a cold night but stayed very warm because of overhead heating above all of the outdoor tables. Probably warmer than being inside.

Food was good. Most entrees come with 1 side, but then you get an all-you-can-eat buffet of other side dishes and ayce cinnamon rolls. Ooohhh, those cinnamon rolls. Hot and freshly made, drowning in icing. They go out as fast as they make them. So good!

This place is great. Not sure if I can explain why, but maybe the friendly staff, home made cinnamon buns, and awesome food are responsible for it. Prices are good and portions are perfect for the money. It can get busy so don't be in a hurry. Fortunately it's on the water so you can take in the views while waiting.

Aunt Catfish is always a stop with the family during vacation. This time around, we stopped in for lunch. We were a group of nine, including a dog, so we split into two tables outside. They have a nice seating area outside, with shaded areas and umbrellas. There is also a nice play area, and the live music was about to start as we were leaving. Cousin John took care of us this time, and he was awesome. He sold us on the unicorn fish, and the majority of the table got it, and everyone loved it. They have a wonderful happy hour with half-off drinks. I was basic this time and got the margarita, and it was good. We've never been here for lunch, but it's such a good deal--$ 10 for a good-sized piece of fish, a side, and the Fish Camp Fixins bar. Speaking of the Fish Camp Fixins bar, I love the upgrades since I was last here. I remember when it used to be in the location where they now make the cinnamon rolls. The Fish Camp Fixins bar has some cold salads, my favorite being the broccoli salad. They also have cornbread, baked apples, and baked beans. You can get full just from the Fish Camp Fixins bar, so make sure to save room for your food. I love how the bar has a paper towel holder at the front for tongs for germ-conscious folks. Oh, and the cinnamon rolls are dangerous. It's hard to eat one! Can't wait to come back!

This is one of those restaurants that, if you're over 50,you've experienced driving to Florida. It has decent food and the wait staff have been there forever. The food is a mix between classic Americana (meatloaf) and seafood since it's on the ocean. With your order you can get free cornbread, cinnamon rolls and some other fixings. The cornbread and cinnamon rolls were excellent. The other stuff could've been better maintained. It looked like a mess Wifey had scallops and they were aight. I had a nice tasty meatloaf that reminded me of Ohio. Reasonably priced.

Ohhhh I had to run this back yall ! This Sunday all you can Buffett is absolutely delicious. Service is incredible and the server remembered me from the last visit. My best friend said she will drive an hour every other week to eat here again , it's that good. It's super busy on a Sunday but so worth the wait and while waiting you can enjoy outdoor live music , seating and water views . This is a must try

Really solid, southern seafood experience at Aunt Catfish's on a recent visit to Port Orange. Casual and clean on the inside, Aunt Catfish's features really good seafood choices along with unlimited "fixins" and cinnamon rolls. The Fixins- really good grits, tasty cornbread, and tasty apple side. The cinnamon rolls were fresh, soft, nicely done. My catfish was cooked really well. I chose both fried and blackened. The fried was light, clean, crunchy and the blackened was as cooked well with just the right amount of bite. Their Dill sauce is a nice alternative to tartar sauce. The only disappointment for me was the green beans. The onions were a nice touch but they were overcooked a bit. Our server was great, attentive and informative. The place was packed at 2PM in the afternoon, and for good reason. If you're at the beach in Port Orange and looking for a place where the locals go, hit up Aunt Catfish's, you'll be glad you did.

Our first meal on vacation was good. We saw this was a popular place over our stay since the parking lot was full daily. Wish our server had done a bit more to tell us about specials and what was included at the self serve bar and bakery. I enjoyed my blackened salmon and the hush puppy. The green beans, my chosen side, were just okay.I liked the coleslaw that was part of the options on the self-serve bar, but everything else was just okay. I thought the cornbread was dry and the cinnamon roll okay as well. The dining area is crowded and dated, could use a refresh.

Went here for a family wedding lunch after hearing good reviews. The restaurant was great about seating our large party. The service was great, but the food was lacking a bit in my opinion depending on what you get. I got the crab cake sandwich and I wasn't a fan. I've had a lot of crab cakes and this one just didn't taste great in my opinion. My girlfriend got the fried shrimp and fries lunch basket and said it was delicious. Two others at our table got a fried chicken sandwich, since they aren't big seafood fans. They both liked them, but said they were anything special. My mom got the catfish and it was really good! I was sad I didn't get it instead of the crab cakes. Might've changed my perspective a little bit. The cinnamon rolls were also a let down. They were cold and the icing was cold. If that's your thing - then you'll probably like them. I prefer my cinnamon rolls hot and fresh out the oven. Overall, even through the restaurant atmosphere and service was good I don't think that'd be enough to bring me back in the future.

Service was great as usual... friendly waitress hostess was not very friendly or open. They moved the fixing bar since I was last there.. Food was great but they changed the menu and I miss the seafood platter!

I really enjoyed the food here. I'm a southern girl and I love a good southern breakfast spread ! Whole Catfish (with bones) and cheese grits were on point !!!! Everything I ate was fantastic. The service/staff were friendly. I don't like buffets because some people just aren't mindful of buffet etiquette. There are unwritten rules but my gawd ! Manage your children and stop acting like you are at home when you're at a buffet please !!! This is a family style place. I'd say big families/parties are welcome. Be patient as there could be lines for made-to-order items. If you don't like being around people you might want to go during the week. You could be rubbing elbows with strangers at some point lol so just be mindful of that.

Everything was really good. We came for the Sunday brunch but ordered off the menu. Lobster was 25.99 the brunch was 27.99 . Pancakes and bacon or lobster? You do the math. I really enjoyed the garlic crusted tail. They weren't rubbery like some of the other reviews stated. It comes with the all you can eat sides which were good for the price . I enjoyed the coleslaw but was too chicken to try the broccoli salad. The waitress was friendly and patient with our questions. She didn't let our drinks empty. The place is very cute but kind of small for many, many customers . We came in at 1:30 so most of the brunch crowd was leaving. The wait was supposed to be 30 mins and was more like 15 . My sister had the brunch buffet and her plate looked similar to a Thanksgiving plate with bacon . They enjoyed the cinnamon rolls so much we ordered a dozen to go .

Food: Recommend catfish (grilled or fried). All came out hot. I got a 2 piece with one of each. I requested lemon pepper on grilled. Both were excellent. My side dish was baked sweet potato. My husband got the crab cake sandwich and gave it an average rating. The "fixins" all you can eat bar comes with your meal. (Grits, baked beans, corn bread, slaws, broccoli salad, pickled beets). We had house made cinnamon rolls that were very good! Service: $51 for two people! Average wait time, really nice and knowledgeable waitress. Ambiance: Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathroom. Sunday after 5:30 was really busy. Will not visit during that time again. (It was also during week after Christmas)

Had such a wonderful lunch today. Very budget friendly and super delicious at the same time. Loved eating by the water and the shrimp was so good. The service was so friendly and helpful. I loved the cinnamon rolls and the fixings bar. Can't wait to come back.

A busy, bustling restaurant for a Tuesday evening! Clean and spacious, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Our orders came out really quickly considering how busy they were. Our party of 4 all decided on the Unicorn Fish prepared in a variety of ways - grilled, lightly breaded, and beer battered. The fish is light and flaky sort of like halibut. Absolutely delicious! I also order the restaurant's own signature soup of fish chowder which had a wonderful slightly spicy tomato base. One side of choice accompanies the meal and there is also a buffet side dish section that's included with your order. The selections were creamy grits, baked beans, mashed potatoes, fried apples, cornbread, coleslaw, and the most delicious pickled beets I've ever had. The shining jewel of the buffet section is the homemade cinnamon rolls that are truly addictive! Bring your family or treat your date. Show up with friends and enjoy the small bar area at the entrance before (or after) your meal. Can't go wrong with this iconic institution that's been in this area for a very long time!

We were back in town. Of course I wanted at least one meal from Aunt Catfish's. I had seen that they have a Sunday brunch buffet. Naturally I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. Everything was so good. They even have a pancake and omelet station to go with the buffet. Of course our server and the cooks on the pancake and omelet station were so helpful.

Me and my fiancé seen a post about Aunt Catfish on social media. We decided to make the 1 hour drive to Port Orange from Mount Dora to see try the food. We loved how the restaurant was right on the river. The choice for outdoor seating and a boat dock with boats. Kelly was our server. She was great and helpful with the menu options. Brunch to me means Breakfast and Lunch. I started off with Pancakes, Omelette, Bacon and Sausage. It's was so good. I order Strawberry Lemonade to drink. I had to have 2 of them before I left. Then I went to get fried Catfish nuggets and a slice of fried Catfish. I was in heaven with my hot sauce and mustard on it. Last I tried the Cinnamon Roll. It is definitely addictive. I definitely need to come back for more. In the meantime, food coma!

Our last vist to Aunt Catfish was in 2020. After our visit today I can assure you we will NOT be waiting another 5 years to return. I am so pleasantly full I can barely share my review. My planned ETA was 2:00 on a Monday. I wanted us to experience the Happy Hour options (2:00-4:00) and the Lunch Specials (11:30-4:00). They also have a Early Bird Menu (anytime before 5:00). My strategy was accomplished. Started with the Clam Chowder and Fried Clam Strips (both 1/2 off during HH) and they did not disappoint. I love a thick Chowder and the Clams were fresh and hot. We ordered off the $10 Lunch Special Menu, got the Beer Battered Fish (one big piece) and the Salt and Pepper Fried Catfish (5 pieces). Everything came out nice and hot with a side and a hushpuppy, but because we jumped right into the "fixins buffet" before the food came out, we were sooooo full, we had no room to eat any of it. We throughly enjoyed all the items in the "fixins buffet"(baked beans, coleslaw, pickled coleslaw, cheese grits, potato salad, broccoli salad, baked apples and corn bread). The only item we did not enjoy was the couscous salad. Our Server was nice enough to let us take a few of the warm cinnamon rolls home with us. They were also apart of the "fixins buffet". The total bill for the two of us was only $34. Without the starters, it would have basically been a delicious $10 "buffet" per person. That's what you call a delicious deal

I was looking forward to eating g at Aunt Catfish's. I've heard and read good reviews. The server, Cuz, was very attentive and very cordial. Cuz was the bright spot. I ordered an Old Fashioned which was very tasty. So good I had a second after dinner. For dinner, I ordered the two piece fried catfish. I had been wanting some good catfish for a while. I still am. The catfish must have been caught in the nasty Halifax River. It tasted muddy. The sides were good though. I ordered the clam chowder for an up charge and the all you can eat sides were tasty. Unfortunately the thing I came in for, Aunt's namesake catfish, was terrible. Then to make matters worse, when the check arrived, there was an "order processing fee of $1.59. Now mind you, $1.59 isn't going to cause me to file for bankruptcy, but I've never heard of this. Cuz explained it was a fee for my debit card. So they just assume everyone will pay with a card and he didn't offer the opportunity to remove it if I paid cash. I despise misleading BS that some businesses do. So between the mediocre catfish and the stupid, albeit small fee, I won't be back.

Going here is an experience. My party arrived an hour before closing time (which is 9 p.m.) on a Friday night. Wish they stayed open a bit later. There was a wait, but that gave us time to explore the surroundings outside. It was a nice night to walk along the dock and check out the plentiful catfish. The interior is pleasant and our service was spot-on, as our server was attentive and friendly. We started with the Smoked Fish Dip, which was very tasty with nice, visible chunks of fish in it. I was very excited about the "All U Can Eat Fish Camp Fixins" (cheese grits and baked beans were my favorites), but partaking didn't leave much room for my actual meal. I had the Catfish Sampler, among which I liked the grilled pepper filet and fingerlings (nugget-resembling) the best. A bonus to being one of the last parties to leave was being offered the remaining cinnamon rolls of the night, which we gladly accepted. Best enjoyed fresh, but still scrumptious.

It took 6 years to make it to Aunt Catfish's and the question is why so long? Dined early Sunday, taking advantage of the brunch promotion, discovering an array of delicious entrees and sides. Absolutely everything we sampled was delicious. With so many offerings it is going to take several visits to sample everything. Signature cinnamon rolls will be a must next visit. No surprise this place was busy with eventually a wait to be seated. Staff attended every table with care, making for never a time without the essentials. The crew was happy to take care of customers. This location is located riverside along the Halifax River, just west of the Dunlawton bridge. The building is typical of a long standing destination, dining areas and bathrooms in good order. Overall our visit made it a great morning of food with family. Thank you Aunt Catfish's and staff for making yourself a "must dine" destination for us.

This restaurant has been around for many years and has developed quite a following. Finally, I dined here for a late lunch after several attempts when visiting family. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a filling and delicious fried catfish dinner. Simple Southern fare, no frills, but so very rewarding. Great service, nice folks.

Decided to leave the dog in the hotel and have a nice inside dinner. This place did not disappoint! Was pretty busy for a Tuesday, but we were seated right away. We had great service. Tables were being flipped pretty quickly. The staff was friendly and efficient We both had great dinners. I forgot to take pics, but the tartar sauce was the best I ever had. We walked out on the pier after dinner beautiful night and being on the water was pleasant. I wish we could have stopped in during the day. I need to come back here again. I really loved this restaurant.

The food is just not that good for the wait and price. I may be old school but when you call and they tell you to come at 5:30 that doesn't mean stand until 7pm. They are an old school restaurant that has been in the area forever and now it's became a legend,for the people that live around it. They are always packed, they will not miss my business. There are many restaurants in the area that are better food. better price, and better service. The ambiance is the best part of the place. This is my second time there I wanted to give it another chance have the same opinion.

From the moment we walked up, we were greeted by warm Southern charm and the heavenly smell of fresh, homemade cinnamon buns baking -- yes, that's what greets you at the door! I ordered the fried shrimp basket, which came with fries and hush puppies. Every bite was flavorful, crispy, and perfectly cooked. On top of that, each entrée comes with unlimited Southern-style sides -- from baked beans to cooked apples, and of course, the cinnamon rolls for dessert. It's filling, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the ¼ lb burger, and honestly, it surprised us with how juicy and well-seasoned it was. The food came out quickly, and our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The atmosphere made this visit even more memorable. It was clear that many of the guests were regulars -- we saw families hugging and greeting each other like old friends. You don't see that much anymore, and it made us feel like we were part of something special. We were seated right by the water, which made for a beautiful view during our meal. There's even a playground for kids and a dock where you can walk down to the river and take a photo with the catfish! In an area full of average waterfront dining, Aunt Catfish's is the real deal -- delicious food, great service, and a family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Nice family restaurant. Playground on property if you have children while you wait. A nice cocktail menu. So much food!!! You have the all you can eat "sides" bar with salads, beans, cole slaw and the cinnamon rolls that are "hot and ready" . I had chicken tenders with amazing sweet potato fries. We usually eat here whenever we visit Daytona.

Our family came for the Sunday buffet and as always, it did not disappoint. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but totally worth it once you're seated and surrounded by the warm, Southern hospitality and riverfront views. The buffet offers a delicious spread -- from hot entrees like catfish fritters, carved ham, and made-to-order omelets, to a variety of desserts that are chef's kiss. The cinnamon roll alone is legendary -- gooey, fresh, and hands down one of the best we've ever had. The banana pudding and other sweet treats were also a hit with the whole family. With its unbeatable view of the Halifax River and consistently great food, Aunt Catfish has become our go-to spot for brunch anytime we have family visiting. If you're in the area on a Sunday, don't miss this gem!

Food was great the fixin bar was awesome the cinnamon rolls are fresh and tasty I cannot wait to come back for the food service was below average she was super slow but the food and price made up for it.

After wanting to try this place for a long time now, we finally made it! First off, our waitress Gracie was phenomenal. She knew how much and when to interact and she was great with our 1 yr old son. She treated us with extra attention when needed. It was a pleasure tipping and we will request her whenever we return! We started with the coconut shrimp and you could taste it was fresh which we loved. I ordered the pecan crusted chicken sandwich. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I barely talked through it! Kids meal of salmon and broccoli was so incredible for our three year old. Fair pricing and healthy. We were impressed and she ate it all! The baked apples, cornbread, broccoli salad were also noteworthy. Our one yr old loved the apples. Hubby got the unicorn fried fish sandwich. He said it was fine. Not mind blowing. We ordered key lime pie to go, and Gracie even packed some cinnamon rolls to go for us without asking. So thoughtful. We enjoyed them the baked in the oven the next morning and they're awesome! Overall, we agreed it was a great experience. The place looks more shabby on the outside but it is nicely modernized and clean inside! We would be happy to return!

We were in from our of town and had dinner at Aunt Catfish's. The food was very good. I loved the camp Fixins bonus. Delicious apples! And the cinnamon roll was so good that I went back for seconds. I will say that the pecan crusted chicken sandwich which i had was a little dry, but the rest of my group enjoyed fish and all of them said it was tasty. Salmon, catfish, and a white fish. And my husband really liked the added shrimp with his! It's in a beautiful setting by the river with some great outdoor seating and the service was excellent.

Excellent location, excellent service, and excellent food. You get fresh baked cinnamon rolls included with your visit. There is a nice area for children to play while you wait which my daughter loved. The food came out quickly and was great. Our server was very attentive. The price is hard to beat considering many meals come with the "fish camp fixins" which included baked beans, grits, corn bread, potato salad, coleslaw, broccoli salad, and cooked apples. I will return each chance I get!

I had really high hopes for this place and was kinda disappointed with the experience. First of all service was great! Our server was quick, efficient and professional. We stopped in after a long drive into town for a conference. This restaurant popped up on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. Once the server explained the ordering process and told us that we had unlimited access to the fixings and cinnamon roll while we dined, I was excited! I ordered the lump crab cake sandwich and it just was not to my liking, a little too much filler and fishy taste. My friend had the grilled fish sandwich sans bread and it lacked some seasoning for a beautiful portion of fish. I tried the cornbread from the fixins and the cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon roll smells heavenly- the scent is captivating but it was entirely too sweet to enjoy more than one. While a generous portion of food, the value was not me for me. I appreciated the service and the location but not satisfied with the meal.

Still a great place to eat!! The c-vid slowdown made changes necessary but this is still a popular spot to eat! Good menu selection and great food! We had about 22 in our party and the service was really good!

Best cornbread in town!!! You have to check out there buffet style brunch it's amazing and if you're an espresso martini person 10 out of 10 recommend. Also check out the nice boardwalk view live band outside weather

Aunt Catfish is one of our favorite restaurants in Daytona Beach. We enjoy their Senior meals and especially enjoy their Sunday brunches. There is some good/bad news with Aunt Catfish. The good news - their freshly baked cinnamon rolls are all you can eat. The bad news - their freshly baked cinnamon rolls are all you can eat! Whenever we are in Daytona Beach, Aunt Catfish is a must!

It's on the water, the atmosphere is great, the food is to die for, & the service is excellent. What more can I say! Definitely give it a try.

Arrived to larger groups seated outside waiting for a table but were able to get a table right away as we were only two. An Indifferent but not unpleasant young man sat us at our table. Within mins our friendly and helpful waiter provided menus and ordered our drinks - he was Johnny on the spot during the visit- good waiter. The interior of the restaurant has seen better days and is due for a deep cleaning and a refresh. We both ordered fish & chips which arrived after a short wait. Fresh out of the fryer. The fish was not cod or haddock as I had hoped- it had a slightly mushy consistency and was told it was Unicorn fish- not impressed and left half on the plate. The fries were well seasoned and plentiful. I did not try the fixin's bar as it was shockingly dirty and in this day and age of easily transferable germs, it should be served out of the kitchen rather than from a tiny little cart with filth all over it. Overall friendly staff but below average food served in a dirty greasy environment. I won't be back.

Our 1st trip and we're sold. I had the clam basket, hubby had the salt &pepper catfish and shrimp. The country fixins bar is all you can eat with your meal. Beans, cornbread, tater salad etc. Then there's the fresh baked all you can eat cinnamon rolls. yum yum Our server was attentive and friendly. as for the negative reviews about the older building and sand on the floor. jeeze louise people your at the beach. And old buildings mean old businesses that have survived hurricanes and covid crazies. We will be back for Sunday brunch.

Wow!!! Our first time at Aunt Catfish. We had a group of 12 and they staff really treated us very well. The appetizers were amazing and the portions of the main course was off the hook.

Great food, great experience, great service!! This is a favorite when we come to the Daytona area, well worth the wait! Nice fishing dock and playground area for the little ones. We started the evening with cocktails while we waited, then when our table was ready the hostess stopped and let us grab a HOT&Fresh cinnamon roll! It's the best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted!! Then we were take. To our table for our fabulous meal, we had gator tail appetizer that came with a yummy orange marmalade sauce, then hubby and I both ordered the red grouper special for dinner. I chose the fried grouper and he chose to have his blackened. Servicer was great, no complaints what so ever!! We will definitely be back when in the area!

Dining here is casual and quick! The happy hour prices on apps and drinks are a must! My family dined for an early dinner for just under a $100, not including tip. We will definitely return, because the service was wonderful and the food was as equally delicious! If you want to go with a water view, fresh seafood, AMAZING CINNAMON ROLLS, and unique mixed drinks this is your place! They can accommodate large parties upon request! They even have a playground upon entry. Great for all ages!

Everything was great. Real good service, nice hot bar. Entrees were out quickly and cinnamon rolls were great.

Always a great place food is amazing and the happy hour 2-5! My favorite lace for catfish and their sides are wicked good all you can eat! It sits right on the water so nice and adds to the ambience. The service is outstanding it's a go to spot every time I am in town. Try it out you will not be disappointed

We are regular to this place for catfish. Today I really enjoyed my extra blackened. Anyone like spicy fish. Highly recommend! Our server : cousin Richard was great. Made our tonight's dinner enjoyable

We finally visited Aunt Catfish on the river a second time after about 2 years and we weren't disappointed. We did have a short wait to be seated but it gave us time to review the menu and check out the surrounding area. The restaurant is right on the Halifax River with a dock for guests traveling by boat. The parking lot was almost full but we found a spot. The menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner specials that should appeal to all. It also has a full bar. I thought about trying Grandma's meatloaf but it was unavailable for some reason. My wife and I chose the wedge salad, clam chowder and grilled salmon and mashed potatoes and a cinnamon roll and hush puppy. Everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive and courteous. Prices are reasonable.

Had lunch here. Our server was very friendly and service was great! They have fresh and hot cinnamon rolls that you can help yourself to. Rolls were yummy and had a lot of icing. I was able to get a couple without the icing on it. Food was good. Had the fish and chips. Fish was a unicorn fish - first time eating it. It was very meaty. Serving size was large. Fish was lightly battered and fish was fresh and delicious. Had had the fried catfish and fried chicken. Both were good. You get unlimited trips to the Fish Camp. This is where they have corn bread, baked beans etc. used to be a salad bar but they've done away with this. Baked beans were a little too sweet for me. Corn bread was pretty good. Nice and friendly place. The lady making the cinnamon rolls was not so friendly at the beginning but she warmed up by the time we left. Frequented by locals here which is a good sign. For a restaurant in this category it was great value for what we got. Would definitely come back again. We couldn't sit outside on the docks as it was pouring hard.

Amazing cinnamon rolls and brunch offerings! Good location and always worth the wait. The staff is amazing except for some offensive/satanic tattoos which is odd considering the older clientele! A must visit location in Port Orange but do not get the oysters/alligator burger as they are bland and lacking flavor. Can't go wrong with the baskets.

The fixings were good. All you can eat with your meal. Delicious grits, cornbread was great, not to mention the endless cinnamon rolls. The menu is mostly fish. Maybe 2 or 3 items weren't. I guess you don't go to a fish place for burgers. I had the lobster tails. They were a little chewy. I didn't enjoy them at all. The portions are small because they give you all the fixings for free. The bill includes a service fee, never heard of that, and they add the gratuity automatically. It was a try but not my favorite place.
