Aura Accommodation

The rooms are not fancy but very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. They start before the trip by sending an email to check in and see if you have any questions. Aura has probably 40 restaurants within 3 blocks, so great place to park yourself while in Rotarura. Laundry area was well maintained. Would stay here again - we stayed for two days, wished we had one more for all there is to do in the area.

Aura is a great place to stay in Rotorua! The location is close to the lakeshore, Eat Streat, and everything in town - we saw many hotels much farther away from things. All the common area things were immaculately clean and well labelled with helpful instructions. We even used the steam box one night to cook sausages and mussels and they turned out great! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back someday.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as advertised. The mineral pools were really great and were a welcome break after long days of sightseeing. The location is walking distance to everything you need.. The bed was really comfortable. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and very comfortable motel in Rotorua. Ideally situated for the lake, restaurants in Eat Street and the city centre. Our rooms were very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. We were told to just ask if we needed more of anything. We took advantage of the laundry facilities which was a great help on our road trip. The best facility for us was the private indoor geothermal pool which was right next to our room. We spent a very relaxing hour in there and my backache was gone! |The staff were so friendly and we felt very welcome. |i would recommend Aura Accommodation to anyone staying in Rotorua.

We loved our stay here - comfortable, immaculate, with everything you could need and fantastic sustainability initiatives. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the location is ideal. The mineral pools were fantastic! Can’t imagine staying anywhere better in Rotorua.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aura. We received a very warm welcome and some really helpful information about suitable eating spots and activities to do with our 3 young kids. We loved the concept of being able to skip the housekeeping for a donation and it was easy enough to ask for more milk one morning. It’s in a great location, a short walk away from cafes and restaurants, parks and playgrounds. The on-site pools and trampoline were a hit for our kids as well. The rooms are simple but had everything we needed for our stay and to rest our heads. Thanks for a great stay!

Good location. Clean facility, friendly staff but the bathroom and electrical features have not been updated in years. There is no mixing valve in either sink and no electrical outlet in the bathroom. What we thought was a mid-range priced motel turned out to be more of a budget accommodation.

It’s more of a motel-style accommodation, with the reception at the entrance of the compound and the rooms arranged around a central swimming pool. The hotel is excellent in terms of cleanliness, organization, and security. Its location is great — close to the lake and many restaurants, especially halal ones. It’s suitable for families with children.
