Auracher Löchl

We made reservation for lunch with Auracher a month ahead and got confirmation with minutes via Google. I must said the retro atmosphere score full points. With over few hundred year history, the restaurant has been well kept and maintained. We ordered the Wiener Snitzel & Ribeye steak plus a side dish of fried jalapeno pepper. The steak came with custom mixed salt + spices. However, I simply love to savor with pure salt + ground black pepper to bring out the best of ribeye with fragrance from the rosemary. The Wiener Snitzel is the national dish for Austria, you won’t go wrong with this dish in Austria (just like one won’t go wrong for ordering Chicken Rice while in Singapore). We missed the opportunity to visit this restaurant last year, this year we made it over a weekend trip. One thing need to mention is that, good food need time to prepare especially for such a history-filled restaurant, pls give a bit patience while food being prepared in kitchen. If you in rush for time, then the Burger outlet diagonally across might be a better choice.

Pfifferlinge season at its best! The Rehcarpaccio and Rahmsuppe were super fresh, with Pfifferlinge in generous portions. The classics Kalbsleber and Backhuhn were absolutely amazing, tender, juicy, and full of Tiroler flavor

Great food, great service, and a very nice medieval atmosphere. Vegetarian options are, as expected, fewer but you can find vegetarian soup and main dishes. Highly recommendeble are the Tiroler Schlutzkrapfen and the pasta with truffel sauce. Kid's options are also nice - we had the Schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarren. The latter was a big portion.

Went here twice as we stayed in the hotel. Has the tagliatelle with chanterelle first night. Was really delicious with a good use of ingredients to make it taste nice and earthy. Also had veal liver which was amazing. Not gamey at all and with a nice tart sauce to balance out the heaviness. Also has 5 course tasting menu the next night. Many details in each course was done really well. On par with other very high end restaurants I’ve had in the past in my opinion for the food. For my own taste, service could be a bit faster.

Had a great birthday dinner here. The soup and the beef tartar were really good. As my main course I went for the 300g filet steak. Very tender and medium rare just as ordered. Service was fast and friendly. Can recommend this place.

Today is our 5th day in Austria and this restaurant is by far the best we have eaten! You must order the Tapas so that u can taste all the local food in small servings.

Surprisingly good! My first time trying Kaiserschmarrn and it was sooooo tasty omg Also ordered Goulash, which was in different level of goulash ive ever tried before.

Incredible place - excellent food and drinks with a great selection of traditional Austrian dishes. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from too. Dog-friendly and the service could not have been better; clearly they have actioned feedback from some of the prior reviews regarding speed of service. Excellent views from where we had our lunch on the Sonnenterrasse. Would absolutely recommend the Haus Hugo to drink and the Schokotraum for dessert - by far the best dessert I’ve ever had!
