Aurea Ana Palace Hotel

It is a beautiful hotel, located in a nice neighborhood just a few steps away from the parliament. The house has definitely some potential. The room was nice and quiet but the service was mixed. Whereas the staff at the reception was friendly and professional the rest of the staff was not 5 Star worthy. The worst experience was at breakfast when at first, the plates piled up on our table and nobody felt obliged to clear them away, and then at one point, when we were both at the buffet to get some coffee at the same time they cleared the whole table - including my bag. I was extremely irritated. The staff did „grant us five additional minutes“ at the buffet but the service staff only served new place settings after we asked them to. In retrospect I would advise to order à la carte - also the coffee cause nothing good comes out of a fully automatic coffee machine at a breakfast buffet. The wellness area was also a bit underwhelming. I can only confirm previous reviews. One misses strict sauna rules and staff at the spa reception. I personally also missed a quiet room where one could relax in between going to the sauna. Here one could only change from the sauna to the pool and back.

We based ourselves here for our few days in Budapest.. a beautiful hotel with plenty of history combined with a bit of luxury! A fantastic location within walking distance of pretty much everything! Spacious room with a really good shower as well as a bath! Staff were extremely helpful at all times. We had a problem with our TV and the phone and both issues resolved quickly. We ordered room service one night and this was very good. We had breakfast here on one day but to be honest there are so many lovely bakeries to explore that we did that most days.

We had a wonderful six-day stay at Áurea hotel in Budapest and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The hotel is very comfortable and exceptionally well located. We were able to walk to almost all major tourist attractions without needing public transport or taxis. The Parliament is just a five-minute walk away, and there are many lovely cafés and traditional Hungarian restaurants nearby, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also really appreciated the spacious lounge area on the ground floor. It’s quiet, comfortable, and a perfect place to relax or get some work done during the day. A special thank you to two outstanding staff members, Emily and Agustina. They were professional, warm, and incredibly helpful, assisting us with all our enquiries and making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. we would definitely stay here again when visiting Budapest!

This hotel enjoys a convenient location on a quiet street. The building is impressive, and the rooms are spacious, with an excellent shower. Unfortunately, the service does not align with what one would reasonably expect from a 5-star establishment. The food served in the bar area was noticeably substandard; the burger had to be returned as it was the worst I have encountered, and the pizza was scarcely edible.|The concierge was courteous and eager to assist, but regrettably lacked sufficient knowledge of the city and was unable to provide guidance beyond basic online searches.

We have just enjoyed a couple of nights at this hotel. Our room was beautiful, shower amazing and bed very comfy. Lovely breakfast. Great location too so we can’t wait to return and wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we do. Very helpful staff who speak many languages. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a historic property beautifully preserved. We arrived a bit before our check in time and waited with complementary champagne. The staff is collectively outstanding. Our upgraded room was very large and comfortable with two bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great with fluffy towels. In the room you will find great medicinals, lovely coffee maker, and even a yoga mat. |The breakfast was located in a beautiful room and the food was top notch. |The hotel has a great central location close to the parliament building , basilica, and the water.

We had a great stay at Áurea Ana Palace by Eurostars Hotel Company. The location is excellent, right next to the metro and very close to the Parliament building, which made getting around Budapest very easy. The room was comfortable and spotless, and overall cleanliness was outstanding. Everything met our expectations and more.

The cleanliness was disappointing for a 5-star hotel. There was one day when the room wasn’t cleaned at all; we arrived at the hotel at 10 PM and realized we didn’t have any clean towels, as the used ones had been left on the floor to be replaced. The attitude at the reception was also disappointing, with the young lady calmly telling us that ‘next time we shouldn’t hang the please clean my room sign on the door because there are housekeepers who don’t understand English… Another issue was that the bathroom flooded after every shower — water leaked from the shower all the way to the toilet area. Truly disappointing for 5 days…
