Aureum Palace Hotel & Resort Ngwe Saung

The hotel I would say it’s one of the most convenient and best hotel in ngwesaung the breakfast is good and the rooms are good vibes and comfortable bed. I checked the palm,yatch resort and Bay of Bengal but came back to aureum Becuase of the vibe and the brand and the breakfast very good it’s Myanmar and western and good sweets cakes and drink options Just only one thing I would recommend cleaners to clean around 6am because they were cleaning brushing when we eat around 7:20am and it’s bad for health because the ashes and trash can come to the food but overall really nice 8/10 hotel !

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely hotel on the beautiful beach of Ngwesaung. Unlike many of the more crowded hotels in the area, this one offered a peaceful and quiet beach experience. The staff were truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Both the operations manager and general manager went above and beyond to assist us when we faced an unexpected emergency, showing incredible kindness and a service oriented attitude. This is my second time I chose this hotel at Ngwesaung and there is no doubt i'd chose this hotel over and over again. We had so much fun enjoying the beach activities, from jet skiing and kayaking to trying out a mini water jet. It was truly a memorable experience! With friends, family, couple or even as business traveller who want peace in mind and working remotely.

Loved it! Relaxed hotel on the quient end of the beach. Rooms spacious and comfy with a large balcony. Can hear the waves from your room 😍 The food was delicious. The staff were exceptional, especially with a small problem. All handled with smiles on their faces. Would like to give a special thank you to the manager, he was always so cheerful and talkative and went out of his way with customer service. A man who enjoys his job is great to see 😁 Thanks to everyone for my lovely stay.

The overall experience staying here was very nice, the view was wonderful, the room cleaners were fast & efficient and they changed our water-bottles daily and their wifi was really good. however, there were a few issues with this hotel; the charging plugs were in places you couldn’t see, the bathroom door lock was broken and the main thing that I didn’t like was the morning breakfast options. I understand that this hotel is trying to be religion friendly to everyone by not serving pork or any type of meat besides chicken but i wish to see more meat options in the future.

Very good and clean hotel. They have halal kitchen and chieft for halal food for muslims. Electrict is 24 hours. Staffs are well trained and very polite. Variety of halal and myanmar foods in breakfast. Recomandable for Muslim guests for Myanmar as well as international guest. Beach is also very beautifyl while pool is also clean and attractive.

Great facilities! Beach was right in front of us, even when we didn't have a seaview room. It was pretty amazing. Breakfast was spot on too! I was quite disappointed having to listen to HUGE speakers that other guests brought to the public areas and played music on. My guide told me this was typical Burmese behavior, but in a 5 star hotel? C'mon! On New Year's Eve, the sound system hurt my ears. No chance of getting volume lowered.... The manager of the resort was really polite and friendly though. Finally I was dumbfounded that at 8pm(?) on New Year's Eve, the free flow of cocktails was turned off! WTH? Even beer had to be paid for. I felt like this was a huge "bait and switch" that maybe was in the fine print, but free flow WAS in the advert that convinced us to book a few nights there. Great venue, but perhaps it was MY fault for feeling ripped off on NYE?

Their rooms and furniture are old and need maintenance. Rooms are not spacious too. Their foods and service are okay. Breakfast was nice. We stayed at room 204 and the floor of the sea in front of that room area has so many pieces of rock and we could go inside the ocean because of these. These hurt our feet.

Aureum offers kind hospitality and delicious food. While some locals may prefer trying outside options, I highly recommend experiencing the Aureum Dining—the prices are reasonable, and the quality is impressive. However, one aspect to improve is the condition of some rooms, which feel slightly dated. Upgrading certain amenities, such as toiletries and bath accessories, would enhance the overall experience. On the bright side, the staff is exceptional—Front Office and Housekeeping teams provide warm, friendly, and attentive service. I’ve always enjoyed staying at Aureum in both Bagan and Ngapali. Special mention to the Nge’s Saung team for their sweet and outstanding service. ** must try Brownie cake ***
