Aurora City Suites Motel

I was absolutely impressed with the attention to detail in this apartment complex. When u feel comfortable, warm and the place is immaculate u feel good !!! Wi was so good with open communication and I love that.. The private spa bath to the comfy beds the Awesome couch /double bed 👌 I loved my 2 days away here in Rotorua !!! I know where our family will stay every year now but also I will be back more often now I have found a place we are so happy with ... They also have complimentary laundry services available for you Thank you so much to wi and the awesome cleaners !!!!! Very impressed 👏 God bless you all and I wish you all the success here 🙏

Great room, everything was clean but when I tell u that the internet it bad, it’s bad, writing tjis review is a project Cause it’s so difficult to do anything connected to the internet and as a traveller, mobile data isn’t infinite. Other than that. Class experience. Beds are amazing too

After a frustrating experience at another motel "The Coachman Spa Motel" which is a health hazard to the public (please check other reviews on my profile) , we sought a more affordable option for our return journey, as we had previously spent thousands at a beautiful luxury hotel in Tauranga. We didnt need anything fancy as we were returning home the following day. Our initial booking at the Coachman Spa Hotel proved to be a significant disappointment, prompting an immediate departure due to its substandard conditions. It was literally a health hazard, I think we spent our 5 minutes at this hotel trying to find another place to stay. Upon discovering the Aurora Motel, we quickly secured a room, and the relief we felt upon entering was palpable. The room at the Aurora Motel was impeccably maintained, exuding a fresh and clean aroma. The decor featured modern furniture, and the bathroom was newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the thoughtful inclusion of six hot chocolate sachets was a delightful surprise, Where else have you ever seen more than 2 hot choc sachets?. The bed provided a restful night's sleep. The rooms also featured lovely big outdoor patios, ours had a spa pool which would’ve been great if staying longer. Considering the overall quality and amenities, a four-star rating for the Aurora Motel seems appropriate. It provides a significantly superior experience compared to other establishments in the area. For travelers seeking a clean, comfortable, and well-appointed affordable lodging option, the Aurora Motel is highly recommended, especially when compared to other hotels. This place has potential!

Don’t be fooled by its simple, unassuming exterior and sign. This was one of the best places we’ve stayed at. We stayed here for 3 nights. The room we had was clean, modern, and comfortable. It even had a spa/jacuzzi pool and a cute yard. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free washing and drying too. Situated on a quiet street and very close to the shops and town. Highly recommend!

I am not sure why so many reviews are negative, as we had a fantastic stay at Aurora. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. As we were located more in the back, we did not hear any cars or other noise. Next time in Rotorua, we would like to stay here again.

Nicely appointed rooms that look to have been recently renovated. Nice outdoor spa tub and private enclosed outdoor area. Just a short drive from town. Quiet without much road noise heard. Has a free washing room with a washing machine and dryer. The bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and clean and had an electronic lock for easy access using a code or the supplied fob.

The room was compact and had everything necessary for a temporary stay. Check in was easy. Had great service from Romit who eased any concerns we had with checking in. Room service was quick and the staff were very polite. Had an outside area that was nice. Note however if you do not request or look carefully you will miss out on the hot spa option. Bathroom was nice. Shower could have been bigger considering bathroom area was spacious. Overall, enjoyable stay for the timeframe we were there. Would recommend to others who are looking for something easy and close to town.

Close to town. Just little things need fixing. Curtain rail bent and curtains not hanging properly, some tiles broken by fridge, a nob missing off shower door. Marks on walls. Sofa bed in lounge uncomfortable a little grubby. Our main bed and pillows comfortable. Has everything you need in the kitchenette. Service great and quick to act when we had issues with adjoining apartment taking our park space . Awesome to have a spa pool .
