Aurora Inn & Suites

Excellent customer service. Rooms look and smell fresh and clean. Good bed. The view wasn't the greatest, but that's because my room faced the parking lot. Just outside the front door is the ocean and it was pretty awesome.

This place had a problem with bed bugs. When the reservation was made nothing was said about having problems with bed bugs. When I checked in and got to my room there was a paper on the desk stating that they had an infestation. When I asked the front desk as to why they didn't share information about it when the reservation was made the guy told me it's been 2 months since they treated the rooms and haven't had any problems. He then also told me if have a problem with it, I shouldn't stay at hotels because they all have bed bugs. The hotel had no problems with not being upfront about their infestation. Will never stay at this place again

You rent cars from here. Our truck had a low tire so we weren't able to go everywhere we wanted to. Poor service on getting it fixed. Internet access is fabulous. Rooms are okay, no room with two beds so used a folding bed which made the room small and hard to get around. The windows were filthy.

I called and reserved a room prior to leaving palmer and informed the guy on the phone I would be landing at midnight. I was told when I arrived that there was no vacancy and wouldn't be for weeks. If I was told that in the first place I would have gone to Kotzebue. Now I'm sleeping on the ground. Waiting to get fuel...

Great staff, clean rooms, upgraded lobby. Only area for improvement would be to address the long wait times at the coffee shop. Too much time is consumed in specialty drinks when all I want is a quad shot espresso. Serving a customer shouldn't take over 10 minutes. Clearly this is a problem since there's a sign stating a drink maximum when only one person is behind the bar. If not then this isn't a coffee shop, more like a pretentious Starbucks.

Clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. The coffee shop located in the lobby is a fantastic addition and offers great selections.

Best hotel in Nome. But no room cleaning or maintenance around the hotel at all. Not sustainable if that continues. Really hope they start running it like a real hotel. I like Nome and hope to return.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed. Windows and lobby dusty and outside of hotel dusty and in need coat of paint. Must be difficult due to proximity to soil/ sand on road and beach. Excellent coffee shop in Lobby. Easy walk to Subway and other Restaurants.
